TAMA CD Funds mismatch and missing details about CDs
Please take a moment and understand the financial discrepancies in TAMA 2010 and 2011.

We, the life members of TAMA, who care about well being of TAMA are very concerned about the handling of finances for the past one year. There will be a board meeting of TAMA on 1/7/2012 to discuss the same irregularities. And, we want to make the attendees understand the gravity of the situation and prepare them with some pointed questions that they should direct at the TAMA EC and board. This is important because the board answers will determine the health of TAMA, which is paramount for the Telugu community of Atlanta. We don’t have faith in the board and EC to come forward and discuss the issues candidly. And, that’s why you need to ask the following questions.

1. What was the amount in CDs that was passed on to 2009 EC by 2008 EC? (Answer should be $126,968.69)

2. What was the amount in CDs that was passed on to 2010 EC by 2009 EC? (Answer should be $160,270.97)

3. What was the amount in CDs that was passed on to 2011 EC by 2010 EC? (Answer should be $169,405.97)
Follow up question should be: What happened to life membership fees of $9135, that should actually been put in CD?

4. As per the TAMA financial statement of 2011, the income was shown as $236,446.00 and expenses as $201938.60, resulting in a profit of $34,508.40, which should have been added to the then existing CDs worth of $169,405.97. Simple math says the value of the CDs must be $203,913.97. Now the question should be what was the amount in CDs that was passed on to 2012 EC by 2011 EC? (Answer should be $203,913.97).

5. If the CDs were broken for any reason, was it approved by the GBM as required by the by-laws?

6. How could the audit committee declare the 2010 financial statement to be correct, if the numbers don’t match with the above answers?

7. How could Madhu Tata, President of 2010 EC and Board Director of 2011 engage his restaurant business with TAMA, a non-profitable organization? Is it not a conflict of interest and ethics?

The following is the CD information gathered from 2009 EC. Where is the transparency promised by the 2010 EC before they got elected if they would not even provide complete information of CDs?

As a life member it is our right to know the details of these mismatching amounts. We should not accept any masked information from the EC 2010 and 2011. We should demand a financial statement from the bank with CD account numbers. It is those ECs responsibility to provide that information to every TAMA member.

Let us object these kinds of manipulations by some individuals who controls the organization for their own benefit. Let us boycott attending any TAMA functions or donations to TAMA until we get a clear answer from both the ECs of 2010 and 2011.

Are the courts needed to set right even temple politics?

It seems that the courts will have to step in to set right the arrogance of a few which affect the faith of many in our temples and in basic human values. The case in point being the recent sham which is being tried to pass of as an election at the Sai temple. It seems that suddenly the love of temple has affected almost over 150 trustees of the temple. While hardly no more than 20 show up for the BOT meetings over 150 votes were polled during the recent elections. No marks for guessing what kind of ballots were cast. Over 60% of the ballots cast were absentee ballots.

The processes that have been ignored are far too many to list, however here is a sample of how this happened. Apparently a lot of ballots were hand delivered to chairman of the Election Committee instead of being sent via USPS. Also these were literally stuffed in his mail box giving new meaning to the word ballot stuffing. The fact that all of them came together indicates that someone has literally rounded up the ballots from the trustees. Hey if you look at the process probably they were not even trustees. You can literally request a ballot and the Election Committee has no way of verifying the address to which the ballot is being mailed. There is no way to check the signatures of the request forms either. Word is that the Executive Committee wanted to cancel the elections and call for new ones due to these irregularities, however internal fights and profit makers pushed the Election Committee to go ahead with this sham. One of the Election Committee members even resigned in protest.

What does it take for the people of Atlanta to realize that playing fair is more important than winning? An arrest maybe? That should not be difficult given the fraud and abuse of power that has been happening. Did any of you know that the jewelry put under Baba’s statue during construction has been removed and melted? We wondered how much in damages will the jury assess for emotional damage to those devotees. Apparently even the Executive Committee was not privy to this dastardly deed. The then President and Treasurer thought it not necessary to do so. Who cares for the small fry, namely the devotees?

The temple has become a place to expand everyone’s business. Apparently the word “conflict of interest” has no place in this temple. Make contacts through the temple machinery spread your business. We wonder if service is ever a motive for any of these people. And the latest news on the grapevine is that all hell will break loose in the form of a lawsuit. Will these people ever realize that the temple that rose to financial stability in a short period of time can fall down similarly if egos are not kept aside? 2010 EC Response on TAMA 2009 Taxes and Closing of Bank accounts

Dear TAMA Member,
At the very outset, we would like to state that this will be the last e-mail communication from 2010 Executive Committee about the recent issues concerning filing of 2009 taxes and the closing of 2009 TAMA bank accounts. In order to provide truthful information, we have attached the relevant emails which made this communication a lengthy one.
“Why was the new EC kept silent for this long and now apparently decided to blame the 2009 EC for everything without giving us a chance to clarify the issues to the incoming EC.” – TAMA 2009 President and Treasurer.

We would like to point out that we have not kept quiet. We have also given enough time to the 2009 President and Treasurer to “clarify the issues to the 2010 EC”. We have been actively pursing this matter with the 2009 President and Treasurer. The only reason we have held this information back from the public was to maintain the dignity of the TAMA organization and a fair chance and benefit of doubt to the 2009 team.
The 2009 President and Treasurer have stated that we have never called or sent an e-mail to them. We have sent multiple e-mails and conversations regarding 2009 taxes. We have documentary evidence of these e-mails.

The 2009 President and Treasurer have quoted Mahesh Pawar’s e-mail as evidence of communication; however they have conveniently concealed other related e-mails correspondence from Mahesh Pawar which shows that the facts are being buried.

We are appalled at the blatant denial of the 2009 President and Treasurer regarding this correspondence. The evidence will prove that TAMA members cannot be taken for a ride without substantial evidence.

“We are in the process of completing the Tax filing for the year 2009 and all the invoices, receipts and Bank statements are with the CPA who is providing free services to TAMA 2009. We shall submit the Returns statement once the filing is completed. This may take not more than a week. “

The deadline for filing Taxes as set by the IRS is March 15^th for non profit organizations. Why didn’t the 2009 President and Treasurer file taxes till date? This puts TAMA’s non profit status in jeopardy. This shows negligence and lack of responsibility towards the community. By bringing past committees into the picture, they are only side stepping their lack of responsibility.

The checks are issued to individuals towards expenses reimbursement. As part of the account transfer procedure to the new EC, we closed the operating account on 31-DEC-2009. Any checks deposited after this date will obviously get bounced. It came to our notice that the only check issued to Mr.Ramakanth Rapalli towards election stationary expenses was bounced because the check was deposited by him after 31-DEC-2009. We referred this issue to the new committee and Mr. Rallapalli got paid by TAMA 2010 EC.

As a best practice of a community organization, accounts were not properly transferred to the 2010 EC and instead they were closed. The 2009 President and Treasurer have claimed that only “one” operating account was closed. This is untrue. Instead, multiple accounts were closed, including Suresh Penchala’s and Sudheer Rudraraju fund account, TAMA operating account and two Certificate of deposits. The CD’s were closed before their maturity date. This information was found out only by the 2010 EC directly from the bank. In their response, the 2009 President and treasurer did not mention any of the above information. Where they kept that money? Why has this information been kept under wraps and not properly conveyed to the respected TAMA members?

Note: We have closed CD account numbers and closing dates but security reasons not providing here.

Even though the accounts were closed, proper funds were not retained nor this information conveyed to the 2010 EC regarding outstanding checks.

In the process of accounts hand over to the new EC, the Credit Card operating account was closed on 31-DEC-2009 and a new account was opened by TAMA 2010 EC. We had a vendor called Authorize.net which we use it for our online transactions. The service charge was to the vendor was set up as a bill payer and all the instructions including the User ID and Password to the Credit card account was given to Mr. Aluwal Reddy Treasurer 2010. It was his (Or TAMA 2010 President's) responsibility to update the automatic bill payment to the vendor, failing which the vendor charges fines and even can send a collection notice to the person under whose name it was registered. In this case Mr. Adi Chinnatimmareddy was penalized.

This shows sheer negligence and non-commitment of the Treasurer of TAMA EC 2010, towards the fag end of the year they are conveniently blaming TAMA 2009 EC. Why did it take this long for them to bring it up? If anything of this sort was brought to our notice, we will be more than happy to address this.

Could you work with Mr. Adi to close previous on-line bank card processing account with North American Bancard. I think bank people are creating some problems, since you guys closed bank account with out redirecting that process. TAMA 2010 EC paid pending transaction fee to North American Bancard. They are holding some of TAMA funds. The related account was closed by previous committee. Could you work with Mr.Adi in order to get TAMA funds from North American Bancard. TAMA 2010 EC would like to present accounts in upcoming GBM on July 25th, 2010.

Things are going haywire the merchant account. I have received a letter (see attachment) from collection agency that TAMA did not pay monthly processing fee to North American Bancard Association. Not sure how to go about it to resolve this once for all. I have called the collection agency about the letter. They have said that the merchant account have not received monthly processing dues( Not sure what we did with the processing bank). This can jeopardize any things for the organization going forward, since they (collection agency) do have the TAMA TAX-id etc and can do undo damage. I have called in to North American Bancard association' s senior agent to resolve and closing the account couple of times already. These people are paid to not to help. He was adamant to speak to me and kept on pressing to speak to collection agency rather than to them.

Please take this email as serious as possible and let us try to resolve this ASAP, since they have lot our info on their files and along with TAMA's money.

Adi Chinnatimmareddy was penalized purely because the 2009 President and Treasurer closed the corresponding Wachovia bank account and that information was not conveyed to the 2010 EC. 2010 President sent an e-mail 2009 President and Treasurer on this issue, to which they have never responded. This clearly shows the malice of the 2009 President and Treasurer towards the 2010 EC and TAMA.

Despite the consequences of the above mentioned actions of the 2009 President and Treasurer, 2010 President and Treasurer worked with North America Bank Card, Authorize.net and Adi Chinnatimmareddy to resolve the issue to everyone’s satisfaction incurring financial expenses.

Ramesh who is brother of Mr. Suresh Penchala repeatedly called TAMA EC 2010 requesting for the funds while TAMA EC 2010 turned a deaf ear to him.

TAMA 2009 EC closed Suresh Penchala account with out reason in December 2009 but they never disclosed this information to TAMA members. 2010 EC were only provided a check by the 2009 Treasurer for $59501.29. 2010 EC was not provided any documentary information regarding these transactions as claimed by the 2009 President and Treasurer in their response. Why are the invoices not being disclosed to TAMA members?

Ramesh Penchala did approach the 2010 EC and the 2010 EC requested Mr. Ramesh Penchala to provide documentation of expenses so that the 2010 EC can reimburse any expense with proper invoices as required by IRS and FERA. We finally received these invoice from Ramesh Penchala on October 20th and we are processing his request.

In order to book the Venue in advance we had to sign the contract with Center Stage and make a non-refundable advance of $5,000.00 and started making all the preparations for the event. Later due to the visa restrictions on the super singers, they were restricted to perform any stage shows (including at the TANA event) and subsequently we had to cancel the program. As the payment made to the Center Stage was nonrefundable in nature they refused to return the advance we paid. We tried to influence and convince them in various means and ways to get back the venue payment which turned out into a futile effort as they were all the time pointing to the signed contract with Center Stage.

Again,TAMA 2009 President and Treasurer are trying to escape from their responsibility. It is common knowledge that any facility provides an opportunity to recover significant percentage of the deposit if proper notice is given and due diligence is followed to recover the money.

All of this stems from the fact that TAMA’s 501(c) status is in jeopardy due to the actions of the 2009 President and Treasurer. It is already November and the taxes have not been filed. The deadline for taxes is March 15^th. Why is it that the 2009 President and Treasurer have suddenly mentioned that they are filing taxes only when the issue was raised by the 2010 EC in a public forum? We had no other choice but to resort to this forum as the 2009 President and Treasurer have not properly responded to any of our multiple requests to facilitate this process. The 2010 EC is not against any individual person or group, it is only trying to safeguard the credibility and integrity of TAMA which has been built over 29 years of hard work of successive TAMA members and EC’s.

To be fair to the 2009 President and Treasurer, we would like to give them an opportunity to explain their side to TAMA members and/or a committee of mediators.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT TAMA 2009 FINANCIALS

Dear TAMA Members,

According to the TAMA Constitution and Bylaws, outgoing Executive Committee shall provide appropriate records for financial audits; transfer all records, documents and accounts to the incoming Executive Committee within five days after the end of their term.

TAMA current Executive Committee sent multiple emails and made several phone calls to Dr. T Satyanarayana Reddy (President-2009) and Mr. Girish Meka (Treasurer-2009) but they are not coming forward to reconcile TAMA financial information and accounts for the year 2009. Though we have appointed an audit committee comprising of Mr. Surendar Reddy Mutyala, Mr. Paddy Rao and Mrs. Sheela Lingam to ensure financial stability and transparency, we are unable to provide them financial records for the year 2009. Also, due to lack of cooperation from the 2009 Executive Committee, tax filing for the year 2009 is also delayed.

In order to safeguard TAMA credibility with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the current executive committee has stepped in to procure TAMA 2009 financial statements from the bank and is in the process of filing taxes for the year 2009.

The 2009 Executive Committee owes members of TAMA and 2010 Executive Committee, an accountability of TAMA 2009 financial information and accounts including:

1. Closing information about 2009 bank accounts (Checks belonging to TAMA members were bounced).

2. Closing of Credit card information (Past Treasurer Adi Chintama was penalized due to the actions of 2009 Executive Committee).

3. There is no documentary evidence for distribution of Payments amounting to $43,248.70 to Suresh Penchala’s family with out concrete financial evidence.

4. Loss of $5000 deposit to Centre Stage, Atlanta.

The financial information that will be used to file taxes year 2009 will be provided to TAMA audit committee. As office bearers of TAMA for 2010, it’s our responsibility to apprise our members concerning 2009 TAMA financials.

We had a meeting on September 12th, Sunday afternoon at 2 PM SaiMurali on what's happening in TAMA and what should we do about it. We discussed in length if we might be better off separating from the quarrels, mass membership drives, and manipulations. TAMA was started in 1981 when there were only few families in Atlanta. Now, the Telugu population in Atlanta is about 7,000 families. Every major metropolitan in United States has two or more associations and they are all thriving and running very efficiently to address the issues facing Telugu community. Why not we have a peaceful organization that focuses on our families and culture, without any dirty politics, elections, mass memberships, and out of state voting? We discussed all the above issues to come up with solutions.

Please attend this followup meeting on September 18th at 3 PM in Sai Murali banquet hall, which is going to be the final one that we all can make a decision either to start another organization that serves our humble goals of having a peaceful time with our families or not. The arguement that an organization was already registered and doing these good for nothing meetings is wrong. The name was registered as a precautionary step.

Looks like the much anticipated meeting to make changes to the by-laws did not succeed.
Does this mean people do not care about the welfare of the organization or just interested
in having fun and not being responsible. Although we cannot the blame the people for not
showing any interest after what has been going on in the past couple of years, there should
have been more active participation to voice their opinion. It is heard that more than two
hundred people showed up but that was not enough to achieve the quorum. What is interesting
is the fact that you could not see anybody from the team that lost the elections last year.
It is not sure if they do not want these changes to succeed or they do not like it at all.
Coming to the meeting itself, it looked more like a one man show. Although it seemed
like lot of effort was put into the process, the message did not seem to reach the general
audience. Even the vantala poti did not bring any enthusiasts. At least one item to mention
is they did not approve the changes without the required quorum. That would have been another long drawn out battle in the courts. Also the so called "community elders" who would seek all the glory and no responsibility did not seem to care about the happenings. You would think they would be standing up there and talking about the pros and cons of doing things like
this.

Major points of discussion seem to be :
Life Member Fee reduction.
Impact on Fundraising.
Eligibility to become part of EC.
Concept of a Board becoming another power center.
Responsibilities and constitution of the board.

Fellow ATA Members:

As you know, American Telugu Association was founded in 1990 by a group of people who could not tolerate the arrogance and power mongering by a bunch of people controlling the sister Telugu organization. Unfortunately a similar type of thing is happening at ATA in the last few years, headed by a group of people from Chicago. You might have received a telephone message from a person asking to talk to an ATA Board of Trustee or an ATA regional coordinator in your area about having a conference in Houston this July. What they did not tell you are the reason why the conference is not happening and majority of the ATA members do not know the truth. Below is the summary of what is going on inside ATA board for the last several years, and reasons for ATA to come to this stage today.

The whole thing started a few years ago by one person from Chicago, whose followers call him "KING MAKER", and he wanted to control ATA. He systematically made sure that his friends and some rowdies get elected to the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee (who need to be ATA Board members). He manipulated the whole election process in 2008, starting from selecting a nominating committee, election committee and the election process to elect the board of trustees. There were several irregularities in the election process, which have been brought to the notice of the board of trustees. The board is unable to take any action because of the divisions within the board. The process went to its heights at the board meeting in Las Vegas in selecting executive committee, committee chairs, convention convener, coordinator and regional coordinators. Some of these Rowdies totally ignored the President and in spite of his objections they went ahead and picked people for all positions, which is totally unconstitutional.

Some of the major mistakes that happened at the Las Vegas board meeting were the election of secretary and treasurer, who were not qualified candidates as per ATA constitution. Due to the behavior of some rowdiness in the meeting, some of the important members of the ATA walked out of the meeting after pointing out what has been going and has to stop. The President of the ATA was ridiculed, insulted, and was not allowed to do anything, according to his wishes.

Since January of 2009, several attempts were made by some of the senior members of the ATA to correct the mistakes that happened in the January board meeting which were against ATA constitution and bylaws. In May of 2009, a special meeting was called in New Jersey by the majority of the board and rectified some of the things that happened in January, 2009 Las Vegas meeting. The Chicago gang took the ATA to the court, which cost the ATA around $100,000 in legal fees. In September of 2009, after manipulating the board to their majority, the Chicago gang had a meeting in Chicago and withdrew their case from the court. Currently there is another lawsuit pending about the legalities of the Chicago meeting in court.

The president reserved the best convention center in Houston, blocked hotel rooms and made several preparations to produce one of the best conventions ever.
The president has been trying hard to work with the board to conduct the conference for the last 15 months and presented several proposals. But the Chicago group in the board has been giving problems, starting from selecting the convention convener, coordinator and committee chairs. They wanted to pick all the above people and run the conference in Houston without the president's approval. President tried to call for a board meeting to discuss the status of the conference but he could not get the quorum to conduct the meeting.

The Chicago group basically made it impossible to conduct the conference. Now they want to blame the president by sending a phony phone message to all the members. How can we conduct the conference when there is only two months time left with no money in hand or a conference team in place? Still the president is willing to do the conference if he can get full cooperation of the board and help to raise funds and give him the option of selecting a good local team to run the conference.

There are several issues that need to be resolved prior to thinking of a conference.

Democracy in the organization: There should not be a one-person show. We need to get rid-off the rowdy people from the organization.

Fair elections: We need a third party to conduct elections and the slate system of selecting the candidates has to be abolished.

Financial Transparency: This is the major problem in ATA. There is no need to have a treasurer from Chicago all the time. In this electronic age, using teleconference anyone from any part of the USA can take care of the bank statements and financial issues over the Internet. The present so-called Treasurer does not want to give financial details to the board in spite of the request of the ATA members, Board of Trustees or the President. Writing checks and moving money around into different accounts and opening of new accounts without the knowledge of the board or the President for the last two years is a big problem. Because of lack of transparency there is a court case pending filed by some of the members of ATA to get the financial details from the ATA office.

Chicago Office: We need to move the office from Chicago as most of the ATA problems started there.

We all wanted to have a biannual conference in Houston this July, more so by the president, but we need to see what will be the out come? When most of the senior ATA members involved in NJ conference in 2008, with 2.6 million funds, we had a lot of problems and a deficit of $200,000 as per the Chicago gang. How are we going to do a conference with no cooperation among the board members, or convention team in place, no money at present with only two months time left to do the conference? It would be better to loose some money to the conference center and pay the hotel penalties, rather than doing a poor conference and get a bad name to ATA.

It may be wise to take care of some of these burning problems in ATA and get rid off some of the rowdy elements from the ATA and plan a future conference.

Sudigundaalu -- The Sequel

An Update

Since "Sudigundaalu 1" there have been quite a few developments at the temple. We would like to bring to you some of the points which are relevant to the situation.

What is more important? Gold or Sentiment? - It has come to light that all the Jewelery and ornaments that were put at the base of Baba's statue before it's installation, the overwhelming emotion among the devotees being that these will remain forever under Baba's statue, were removed that very day and deposited into a bank. The only parties privy to this transaction were the then President and the then Treasurer. The explanation goes that the pujari removed the gold and tied it into a bundle and the bundle was then deposited into the bank. Now for people who did part with their jewelery willingly the gold itself may not be of much importance but what of the sentiment attached with the act. Here were devotees who put the gold under the impression that it will remain under Baba's feet forever and here is news that it did not even remain for a short period of time. There may be extenuating circumstances why this may have been done. But don't the parties to this transaction owe a responsibility to the devotees? To let them know what transpired? The level of ego and recklessness is amazing. Apparently none of the EC knew about this till recently.

Politics takes it's toll, Good and Shady alike - It looks like there have been a spate of resignations among the executive committee and the other committees in the temple. A member of the Constitution committee, a level headed and balanced gentleman resigned and there is no news as to why he resigned. The entire Treasury department resigned, hot on the heels of the audit. What is going on? The politics of the temple seem to have taken sacrifice both the good and the shady members of the committee.

Unkept promises? - Then there is the issue of promises made to the devotees by the EC to collect donations. What is the delay in taking care of these promises? The leaf program, the constrution plaque program etc etc. Why promise if you cannot deliver? What galls everyone is the lack of communication to anyone as to what is going on with these programs.

Even Baba is unaccessible nowadays - The fact of the matter is that God is in one's mind and not in any statue anywhere. However we are humans and as such tend to visualize God to give us the feeling of comfort and the feeling of a personal God. So what is this practice of not touching Baba? Even in Shirdi one is allowed to touch Baba's feet. It looks like our Secular Baba wants to be more like an Orthodox Baba after his newly acquired wealth. He was so accessible in the small house which is akin to Dwarakamayi. Of course it is not really Baba's deeds but those of his devotees in his name. We wish that Baba's captors release him to the general public, whom he longs to be with.

One bright spot in all of this of course is the spirit of volunteerism that pervades the temple. Good and bad alike come together to do service, whatever their motives may be. It is not the EC or the Board of Trustees that are to be commended but the volunteers themselves. The volunteers who commit their time to cook and distribute food. The volunteers who brave rain or hail, snow or sleet to regulate parking, the volunteers who prepare the temple for special occasion. We doff our hats to them. There is hope for all of us indeed.

UGADI UTSAVALU – Acceptable but not Extraordinary

TAMA EC 2010, after Sankanthi Sambarulu, has organized "Ugadhi Utsavalu" and let's see how the show went...

First things first ..Sankanthi Sambaralu attracted lots of criticism around "Anchoring" of the program.. This time they seem to have attempted to make correction on it and replaced with better anchors.. BUT at the same time THEY ARE GONE in the middle of the program.. YES. they just disappeared.. And each one of the EC member started announcing the programs.. (Not sure if EC was desperate to be on the stage)

UGADI USTAVALU... would have been another regular TAMA affair had it not been for 2 shows.. "Telugodu" by Mr. Kalyan from California ..and Fashion show by "Atlanta Adapaduchulu".. The first one is, apparently was last minute entry,was superb.. Kalyan did some comedy skits and Parody songs... It was very well connected with audiences...Much hyped up Atlanta Adapadulchulu Fashion show definitely need to be appreciated for all the hard work they have put, but at the same time i wouldn’t be watching it if my wife or kid is not in it..Fashion shows hardly ever provide entertainment.

Food, was good . All vegetarian.. Amma Kitchen provided snacks and Spice Touch... Pizza for Kids.

Highlights.

1. Kalyan Parody and Tidbits…. (For Entertainment Value)

2. Atlanta Adapaduchulu Fashion show.. (Just appreciate the hard work behind it)

1. Some of programs would have been easily avoided.. I was told couple of years ago, that solo performances are not allowed in TAMA.. I observed at least couple of solo performances.. While I am not against SOLO programs, if they are well known artiste, I have straight question to

Executive committee or anybody who is responsible for selecting programs .. Would you have accepted a solo kuchipidi performance for an individual if he or she is not a well professional dancer or if she is not "SD".... just something to think about..

2.Siva Sai dance academy, performed 3 programs.. lacked punch.. co-ordination was poor..Much more expected from professional dance school

3. How many "Adhurs" songs we want us to see.. there are lot of other songs with fast beat .. good songs.. No more adhurs please..

With the kind of turnout we had this functions, our TAMA programs definetly requires much larger auditorium than a highschool one.. I had hard time leaving for bathroom or dinner, as I was afraid that somebody will occupy my seat.

Final Word.

Good work by TAMA Executive Committee.. It takes a lot to conduct these events..They have done a decent job.. I would give B+ for their effort and quality of the program.

ఎంత కాలం ఈ సమైక్యం . మనం చిన్నగా ఉన్నప్పుడు తండ్రి చాటు ఉంటాం. కొంతకాలం అయిన తర్వాత పెళ్ళాం వచ్చిన తర్వాత కూడా తండ్రి చాటు ఉంటామా ?

సమైక్యం గా ఉందాం అని చెప్పి ,వేరెవరితోనో మమ్మల్ని దోచుకున్నారు అని నిందలు పడటం ఎందుకు ?
ఎంతకాలం హైదరాబాదు ని ఉద్దరిస్తాం. పెట్టుబడులన్నీ ఇక్కడే పెడితే ఎలా ?, ఉన్నవి చాలక మెట్రో రైల్ అట
హైదరాబదు నే అభివృద్ధి చేసుకుంటూ పొతే ఎలా ?
ఇక్కేడేనా ఫ్లై ఓవర్ లు , మా ప్రాంతాలకు వద్దా ?
మా ప్రాంతాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయరా ?

మన పక్కింటోడు కరెంటు బిల్లు ఎక్కోడితే మనం కట్టాలా ? ఆ నష్టం మనం భరించాలా ? అదేమని అడిగితె మాకు నీళ్ళు లేవు పంటలు పండవు. మేము ఎలా కట్టాలి అని ఎదురు ప్రశ్న ఒక్కటి వెటకారంగా

హైదరాబాదులో అందరూ పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టారు. హైదరాబాదు ని అభివృద్ధి చేసారు. కేంద్రం కూడా పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టింది
మనం tax లు కట్టిన సొమ్ము హైదరాబాదులో పెడ్తే ఎలా ?

శంషాబాద్ ఎయిర్ పోర్ట్ అయిదవ స్తానాన్ని సంపాదించుకుంది. హైదరాబాద్ ఒక్కటే అభివృద్ధి చెందింది.
అందుకే ఇక్కడ జనాభా ఎక్కువ . ఇక్కడ కాలుష్యం ఎక్కువ . ఎక్కడి నుంచి ఎక్కడకు వెళ్ళాలన్న గంట సేపు పడుతుంది
బైకు మీద హెల్మెట్ లేకుండా ప్రయాణిస్తే తెలుస్తుంది ఎంత కాలుష్యమో

అందుకే ముక్కలు చెక్కలు చేయాలి.
హైదర్ అలీ బాదు ని కాలుష్యాలనుంచీ, శబ్దాలనుంచీ విముక్తి కల్పిద్దాం .
మన ప్రాంతాలను అభి వృద్ధి చేసుకుందాం

అధికార వికేంద్రీకరణ కావాలి.
అవసరం అయితే ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ని 23 రాష్ట్రాలు గా చెయ్యాలి. మమ్మల్ని మేమే పరిపాలించుకుంటాం
మా కృష్ణా జిల్లాని మేమే పరిపాలించుకుంటాం.
మేము ఆస్తి పన్నులు ఎగ్గోట్టము, కరెంటు బిల్లులు కడతాము. చాలా ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలు అస్సలు కట్టరు. అధికారులు వస్తే కొడతారు కూడా
అంటే వాళ్ళ కరెంటు బిల్లులు కూడా మేమే కడుతున్నాం అన్న మాట
అంటే మమ్మల్నే వాళ్ళు దోచుకుంటున్నారు అన్న మాట
నాకు వద్దు వెనక పడిన ప్రాంతాలతో సమైక్య వాదం.
సమైక్య వాదులూ ఆలోచించండి ఒక్క సారి
తాగు బోతుల గణాంకాలు, వ్యవసాయ గణాంకాలు , వంద అబద్ధాలు అన్నీ ప్రక్కన పెట్టాలి
తెలంగాణా వాదులు ఆలోచిన్చినట్లుగా స్వార్ధం గా ఆలోచించాలి
చాలా చోట్ల పదవ తరగతి వరకే చదువుతారు, మరి కోస్తా జిల్లాల వాళ్ళు 25 ఏళ్ళ వరకూ చదువు తారు
చదువుని బట్టి అభివృద్ధి
నేను కష్ట పడి చదువు కున్నాను అభివృద్ధి చెందాను , కనుక వెనక పడిన వాడితో సమైక్య మెందుకు? అని అనుకోవాలి చదువరులు.
సమైక్య వాదం చేసేటట్లైతే జిల్లాలు మండలాలు లెక్కన విభాజిన్చడమెందుకు? అది పరిపాలనా సౌలభ్యం కొరకే కదా మరి :)
నామాట సూటిగా :- ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ అంటే హైదరాబాద్ ఒక్కటే కాదు. అభివృద్ధి ఒక్క చోటే జరగ కూడదు.

TAMA Workshop

TAMA Executive Committee recently kicked off its first session of TAMA Workshop, in a series of such sessions, by meeting with some Life members of TAMA to seek their feedback on certain items, which the Executive Committee shortlisted, that need attention and possible amendments.

This initial session under the able moderation of attendees Chand Akkineni, Viju Chiluveru, Venkat Mondeddu, progressed in a smooth and highly constructive manner, giving the Executive Committee an insight into the thoughts of the patrons that attended the workshop.

All the attendees provided their unabashed feedback to the Executive Committee that will reach out to as many life members as possible before consolidating the collective feedback to be presented for voting before the GBM.

Given the challenging logistics of organizing one huge gathering, we have decided to organize multiple such sessions with a hope to invite as many members as possible for each session.

We'll keep you posted of future such sessions and we'd like to thank all the attendees of the initial session of TAMA Workshop, a first in the history of TAMA.

ఇది ఒక వింత ప్రేమ కధ
అనగనగా ఒక అమ్మాయి.పేరు తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ. నిజాం ఆమె మేనమామ. బలవంతంగా తన కొడుకు కి ఇచ్చి పెళ్ళి చేసాడు. ఇష్టం లేని పెళ్ళి. దానికి తోడు అనుమానాలు, అవమానాలు! బలవంతపు పెళ్ళి కి ప్రతిఫలం కొడుకు హైదర్. మనవడిని చాలా ప్రేమ గానే చూసుకునేవాడు నిజాం.తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ రక్త స్వేదాలు కూడా పిండి, మనవడి ముద్దు ముచ్చటలు తీర్చే వాడు.తన ప్రాణాలు తోడే సేటంతగా మామ గారికి తన కొడుకు మీద అంత ప్రేమ అని ఆనందించాలో , లేక ఈ నరకం నుండీ బయట పడటానికి తన ప్రాణాలే తీసుకోవాలో తెలిసేది కాదు తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ కి. ఎలా అయినా అక్కడ నుండి విముక్తి పొందాలని అనుకుంది.ఒక రోజు ఆమె బయటకి వచ్చేసింది.
ఆంధ్రా ఆనందం ఆ యువకుని పేరు. తమిళ తంబి కి సవతి తమ్ముడు. తనకి వ్యాపారం లో సరైన స్థానం ఇవ్వలేదు అని తమిళ తంబి తో తెగతెంపులు చేసుకుని బయటకి వచ్చేసాడు. ఒక కొత్త జీవితం మొదలు పెడదామని బయలుదేరిన అతడికి వూరి బయట శివాలయం ఎదురుగా తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ కనిపించింది.ఒకరి కష్టాలకు ఒకరు ఓదార్పు చెప్పుకున్నారు. శివాలయం పూజారి వారిని భార్యాభర్తలగా పొరబడి దీవించాడు. ఆంధ్రాఆనందంకి కూడా అప్పటి వరకు లేని ఆలోచన కలిగింది, తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమని పెళ్ళి చెసుకుందామని! కాని అప్పటికే నిజాం కొడుకు తో విఫలమైన వివాహం వలన తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ వెనుకంజ వేసింది. ఒంటరిగా వుండటమే తనకి ఇష్టం అంది. కాకపోతే కొంతసేపు ఆలోచించి కొన్ని షరతులు పెట్టింది. తన పుట్టినింటివారికి తోడ్పాటు అందులో ఒకటి. తన కొత్త వ్యాపారం లో తన వారికి భాగస్వామ్యం, ఇంకా తన వాళ్ళు తమ కాళ్ళ మీద నిలబడడానికి ఏమైతే అవసరం అవుతాయో అవన్ని కలిపించమని అడిగింది. ఆంధ్రాఆనందం ఒప్పుకున్నాడు ఆనందం గా?
కొత్త కాపురం కొన్నాళ్ళు వరకు బాగానే వుండేది. హైదర్ ని కూడా చాలా బాగా చూసుకునేవాడు. “హైటెక్” ఇంఫర్మేషన్ టెక్నాలజి చదివించాడు. అయితే పెళ్ళి కొత్తలో తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ కి ఒకసారి ఆంధ్రాఆనందం మీద కోపం వచ్చింది. పుట్టినింటికి వెళ్ళిపోతాను అంది. కారణం: తన పుట్టినింటివారు ఇంకా వారి కాళ్ళ మీద నిలబడలేదు అని, అయినా ఆంధ్రాఆనందం తోడ్పాటు ఇవ్వడం ఆపేసాడు అని ఆమె ఆరోపణ. మరి ఆంధ్రాఆనందం చెప్పేదేమిటంటె ఇలాంటి తోడ్పాటు వారి క్షమతని తగ్గించివేస్తుంది, వారి బాగు కోసం, వారు సొంతంగా ఎదగాలని ఎవరి మీద ఆధారపడకూడదని తాను డబ్బు పంపడం మానేసాడు అని. కాని ఆమె మన్సులో ఒక అనుమానపు బీజం! నిజంగా తనని ఇష్టపడి పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్నాడా? తన వాళ్ళ బాగు పట్టించుకునే వాడేనా? ఏమయితేనెమి? ఇద్దరు సద్దుమణిగి సంసారం సాగించారు. అయితే…….
నడి వయసు కి వచ్చిన వారిద్దరి సంసారం లో చిచ్చు పెట్టేటందుకు వచ్చిన విలన్ మాయల ఫకీరు ముక్కు చంద్రం. తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ కి మేనమామ తరపు బందువు. ఆమెకి కూడా ముక్కు చంద్రం అంటే ఏ రోజు మంచి అభిప్రాయం లేదు. వాడు పరమ స్వార్ధపరుడు అని ఆమె కి తెలుసు. ఆమె కి ఆంధ్రాఅనందం మీద లేనిపోని అనుమానాలు రేకెత్తించేవాడు. వారు విడిపోతె ఆమె పంచన చేరి ఆమె సంపద కొల్లగొడదామని వాడి ప్లాను. శేఖరం అనే పెద తాత వున్నంత కాలం మాయల ఫకీరు ముక్కు చంద్రం మంత్రాలు పారలేదు.కాని శేఖరం తాత మేడ మీద నుండి పడిపోయి చనిపొయాడు.
శేఖరం తాత చనిపొయాక ఆంధ్రాఆనందం ఇంట బయట పరిస్థితులు చాలా మారిపోయాయి. కలత చెందిన అతడు కొంచెం ముభావం గా వుండేవాడు. ఇదే అదను గా ముక్కు చంద్రం కుట్ర పన్నాడు.తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ మన్సు విరిచేసాడు. తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ పిన్ని పిల్లల్ని సివిల్స్ చదివించినా, ఆంధ్రాఆనందం తరపు వాళ్ళకి చదివించిన ఇంజనీరింగ్ మాత్రమే గొప్పని వూదరగొట్టెవాడు ముక్కు చంద్రం. సంపాదించినదంతా వాళ్ళ చుట్టాలకే పెడుతున్నాడని బాదపడెవాడు.మన జాతి ఏంటి ,కులం ఏంటి? వాళ్ళ జాతి కులం ఏంటి అని విభేదాలు కలిపించేవాడు. నీ నగలు నట్రా అంతా అమ్మి ఇంత వ్యాపారం పెంచగలిగాడని అబద్దాల తో చెవి తినేవాడు.
అవును నిజమే! వ్యవసాయానికి అనువు కాని చోట ఎవరు పొలం దున్నరుగద!తన వాళ్ళకి మట్టి పిసకడమె వచ్చు. అందుకె వాళ్ళకి పొలాలు, సాగు నీటి సాయం చేసాడు. లెక్కలు వచ్చు కనుక ఇంజినీరింగ్ చదివించాడు.అలాగే తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ చుట్టాల పిల్లలికి సివిల్స్ కోచింగ్ ఇప్పించాడు.ఆంధ్రాఆనందం ఆమె తరపు వాళ్ళని తన వాళ్ళగా భావించి చేపల చెరువులు కట్టించి ఇచ్చాడు.
కాని మాయల ఫకీరు ముక్కు చంద్రం మంత్రాలు పని చెసాయి.తెలంగాణతిలోత్తమ కి ఇప్పుడు ఆంధ్రాఆనందం మీద నమ్మకం లెదు.విడిపోదాము అనుకుంటుంది. కొడుకుగా హైదర్ మీద పూర్తి హక్కు తనదే అంటుంది!వారి సంసారం లో చోటు చేసుకున్న అపోహలు దూరం చెయ్యగలరా ఎవరైనా? మీరేమైనా ఆమె కి సలహా ఇవ్వగలరా?…………

Reasons:

They do not come in the front
They terrorize candidates in elections
They steal Ballots
They make mockery of democracy
They say that others have caste feelings but they arouse religion, caste, state, district feelings according to their convenience
They criticize that TANA and NATS people have joined together and they have no ethics BUT on the other hand they join hands coming from RSS background with student communist leaders which are opposite poles in ideology to achieve their selfish motives.
They are average actors on stage BUT are superb actors off stage (As they mesmerized the Atlanta community as service oriented people) till Rachabanda came and showed their true colors to the community.
They say and bad mouth people that they have caste feelings when some groups celebrate NTR birthdays and YSR victory celebrations on the other hand they celebrate Gandhi birthday under the umbrella of their organization (Can we accuse them that they choose Gandhi of all the leaders as he belongs to one of their castes)
They say they are helping Bhutamese refugees but the truth is they are helping Hindu refugees and majority of them belong to their castes.
They mislead organizations (eg TAMA, NASSTA etc) by coming up with different organization names which are pro Hindu.
They play one caste against other according to their convenience.

Atlanta community you decide who are the real leaders and protectors of the community and be careful in donating your hard earned money to wrong people.

తెలంగాణా అమరవీరుడు యాదయ్య

సిరిపురం యాదగిరి (యాదయ్య)ఉస్మానియా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ప్రవేశద్వారం వద్ద ఫిబ్రవరి 20వ తేదీ ఉదయం పెయికి అగ్గి అంటించుకొని ఆత్మహత్యాయత్నం చేశాడు. తెలంగాణ కోసం ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంటున్నానని సూసైడ్ నోట్ లో విస్పష్టంగా పేర్కొన్నాడు. అతన్ని ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. సాయంత్రం పొద్దు పోయాక యాదయ్య చనిపోయాడు. అదే రోజు ఆర్థరాత్రి యాదయ్య మృతదేహాన్ని ఆయన స్వగ్రామం నాగారం తరలించి వారి ఆచారం ప్రకారం బొంద పెట్టారు. తెలంగాణ గ్రామాల్లో పెళ్లి కాని యువతీయువకులు చనిపోతే బొంద పెట్టడం ఆచారం. యాదయ్య సమాధి ఆ ఆచారం ప్రకారమే జరిగిందంటే ఇందులో చర్చించడానికి గాని, ఆశ్చర్యపోవడానికి గాని ప్రత్యేకంగా వ్యాసం రాయడానికి గాని ఏమీ ఉండదు. కాని అలా జరగలేదు. పోలీసులు వారిదైన వ్యూహాత్మక ధోరణిని ప్రదర్శించారు.

యాదయ్య ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకోవడానికి కారణాలను తర్వాత విశ్లేషిద్దాం. ఆత్మహత్యా యత్నం దగ్గర నుంచి ఏం జరిగిందో చూద్దాం. యాదయ్య ఆత్మహత్యాయత్నం చేసుకున్నది యూనివర్శిటీ గేట్ ముందు. వెంటనే 108 వాహనం వచ్చింది. సాధారణంగా ఇలాంటి సందర్భాల్లో సమీప ఆసుపత్రికి పేషెంటును తీసుకెళ్తారు. పక్కనే అర కిలోమీటర్ దూరంలో మహిళా సభ ఆసుపత్రి ఉంది. యూనివర్శిటీ అవతలి గేట్ దగ్గర ఆర్టీసి వారి ఆసుపత్రి ఉంది. రెండు, మూడు కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో ఒక వైపు ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి ఉంది. ఇంకో వైపు గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రి ఉంది. మొదట గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రికి తీసుకెళ్తున్నామని, ఎక్కడో సాగర్ రింగు రోడ్డు దగ్గర సైదాబాద్ అవతల ఉన్న డిఆర్డీఎల్ అపోలో ఆసుపత్రికి యాదయ్యను ఎందుకు తరలించినట్లు. సాయంత్రం యాదయ్యను చూడడానికి హోం మంత్రి సబితా ఇంద్రారెడ్డి వచ్చారు. అక్కడ ఉన్న తెలంగాణవాదులు కొందరు ఆమెను నిలదీశారు. ఏమిటీ అన్యాయం, ఎన్ని ఆత్మహత్యలు జరుగుతున్నా పట్టించుకోరా, మీ మంత్రి పదవులే మీకు కావాలా, తెలంగాణ వద్దా అని వారు అడిగారు. దీంతో ఆవిడ కోపంతోనే అక్కడి నుంచి నిష్క్రమించారు. సబితను ప్రశ్నించిన ఫిరోజ్ ఖాన్ అనే కరీంనగర్ విద్యార్థి పోలీసుల చేతిలో పడి సోమవారం సాయంత్రం దాక ఆచూకీ లేకుండా పోయాడు. 20వ తేదీన సాయంత్రం పొద్దుపోయాక యాదయ్య మరణించాడు. యాదయ్య మరణవార్తకు సీమాంధ్ర యాజమాన్యంలోని మీడియా సహజంగానే ప్రాముఖ్యం ఇవ్వలేదు. హిందూ దినపత్రికలో మాత్రం ఆ వార్త ప్రముఖంగా వచ్చింది. సాక్షితో పాటు ఒకటి రెండు పేపర్లలో ఆ వార్తను ప్రచురించారు. ఆంధ్రజ్యోతిలో యాదయ్య మరణవార్త లేనే లేదు. సరే, అది మీడియా ఎప్పుడూ చూపే వివక్షనే. ఆయన స్వయంగా అంటించుకున్నాడా, ఇతరులెవరైనా అంటించారా లాంటి అర్థం లేని మూర్ఖపు ప్రశ్నలు అడిగిన ఒక మీడియా ప్రతినిధిని విద్యార్థులు కొట్టినంత పని చేశారు. ఈ ప్రశ్న వెనక ఎంత కుట్ర దాగి ఉందో, అతను ఏ ప్రాంతంవాడో సులభంగా అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు. వైష్ణవి కిడ్నాప్ - మృతిపై స్పందించినట్లుగా యాదయ్య మృతి పట్ల మీడియా స్పందించకపోవడంలోనే వారి వైఖరి తేటతెల్లం అవుతున్నది. అది అలా ఉండగా పోలీసులు ఈ ఘటనలో పరమ దుర్మార్గంగా, అనైతికంగా, చట్టవిరుద్ధంగా ప్రవర్తించారు.

సాధారణంగా ఒక వ్యక్తి ఎంతగా కాలినా ఆ గాయాలతో 24 గంటల తర్వాతనే మరణిస్తాడు. కాని యాదయ్య 12 గంటలు గడిచీ గడవగానే మరణించాడు. కారణం తెలియదు. ఈ విషయంలో అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తమయ్యాయి. యాదయ్య బతికితే అతను బాగుపడి బయటకు రావడానకి కనీసం రెండు నెలలు అయినా పట్టి ఉండేది. ఈ రెండు నెలలు ఆసుపత్రి ముందు టెంట్లు వేసి దీక్షలు చేసి నానా హడావిడి చేస్తారు. నాయకులు పరామర్శించడానికి వస్తారు. దీంతో మీడియావారి హడావిడి, ఉద్యమకారుల గోల ఉంటుంది. యాదయ్య శవాన్ని గుట్టుచప్పుడు కాకుండా ఎందుకు తరలించినట్లు. మీడియావారికి ఎందుకు ఎరుక పరచనట్లు. సాధారణంగా ఎవరైనా ఇలా కాలిన గాయాలతో గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రిలో గాని జంటనగరాల్లోని ఏ ఆసుపత్రిలోనైనా మరణిస్తే పోస్టుమార్టం చేయడానికి శవాన్ని ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రికి తరలిస్తారు. సాక్షాత్తు ముఖ్యమంత్రి చెప్పినా రాత్రికి రాత్రి వైద్యులు అక్కడ రాత్రికి రాత్రి వైద్యులు అక్కడ పోస్టుమార్టం చేయరు. మరి ఇవేవి చేయకుండా యాదయ్యను ఆయన స్వంత ఊరికి ఎలా తరలించారు. పోలీసులకు ఈ ఆలోచన ముందే ఉంది కాబట్టి యాదయ్యను ఆయన స్వగ్రామానికి వెళ్లే దారిలో ఉన్న డిఆర్డిఎల్ ఆసుపత్రికి తీసుకెళ్లారని అనుకోవాల్సి వస్తుంది. అటు నుంచి అటే శవాన్ని మూడో కంటికి తెలియకుండా తరలించారు. 85 శాతం కాలిన శరీరంతో యాదయ్య ఎలాగు చనిపోయేవాడే అనుకోవడం వేరు. కాని ఈ విషయంపై తెలంగాణవాదులకు తీవ్రమైన అనుమానాలున్నాయి. గతంలో ఉస్మానియా విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలోనే కాల్చుకుని చనిపోయిన వేణుగోపాల్ రెడ్డి శవాన్ని పోలీసులు ఇలానే తరలించుకుపోయారు. విద్యార్థులు వేణు మృతదేహాన్ని గన్ పార్కుకు ముందు తీసుకెళ్తామన్నారు. కాని పోలీలు అడ్డుకుని, విద్యార్థులను తప్పు దోవ పట్టించి శవాన్ని నగరం దాటించారు.

యాదయ్య ఆత్మహత్యకు ఎందుకు ఒడిగట్టాడు. యాదయ్యకు రాజకీయాల పట్ల ఆసక్తి, కొంత అవగాహన ఉంది. కెసిఆర్, సబిత, చంద్రబాబు తదితరులతో యాదయ్య దిగిన ఫొటోలు ఈ విషయాన్ని వెల్లడిస్తున్నాయి. ఆ ఫొటోలను, మార్కుల మెమోలను సూసైడ్ నోట్ ఆయన ఆత్మహత్యాస్థలంలో వదిలాడు. తెలంగాణ విషయంలో రాజకీయవాదులు చేసిన, చేస్తున్న మోసాలు యాదయ్యకు అర్థమై ఉంటాయి. మిత్రులందరితో కలిసి చలో అసెంబ్లీ కార్యక్రమానికి వద్దామని ముందు రోజు చెప్పిన యాదయ్య ఆ రోజు ఉదయం ఒక్కడే బయలుదేరి వచ్చాడు. ఆ ముందు రోజు రాత్రి కెసిఆర్ లాంటి నాయకులు అసెంబ్లీ ముట్టడి కార్యక్రమం వద్దని విద్యార్థులను నిరుత్సాహపరిచిన సంగతి యాదయ్యకు తెలిసే ఉంటుంది. ఎబివిపి, బిజెపి, కాంగ్రెసు, తెలుగుదేశం నాయకులందరు ఎవరికి వీలైన రీతిలో వారు మాట్లాడడం వల్ల తీవ్ర నిరుత్సాహానికి, నిరాశకు గురైనందుననే యాదయ్య ఆత్మహత్యకు ఒడిగట్టాడు. తెలంగాణ రాదనే నిరాశనే యాదయ్యను ఆత్మహత్యయత్నానికి పురికొల్పింది. రాజకీయాలపై అంతో ఇంతో అవగాహన ఉన్న యాదయ్య నిరాశతోనే ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్నాడు. యాదయ్యను, యాదయ్య తరాన్ని చావనిచ్చి, చంపి తెలంగాణను తాత్కాలికంగా ఆపినా ముందు తరం వారు కూడా యాదయ్యలా చస్తారని చెప్పడానికి ఆస్కారం లేదు. యాదయ్య వెనకనే ఉన్న ఈ తరం వారు ఇంకో రకంగా రియాక్ట్ కారని చెప్పడానికి ఎంత మాత్రం వీలు లేదు.

ఇక యాదయ్య గ్రామం సిరిపురానికి వెళ్లేందుకు మూడే దారులున్నాయి. ఇందులో రెండు తారురోడ్లు. ఈ రెండు దారులను పోలీసులు మూసేశారు. ఆబిడ్స్ లో ట్రాఫిక్ కంట్రోల్ చేయడానికి వాడే బారికేడ్లతో సిరిపురం రోడ్లను పోలీసులు మూసేశారు. ఈ బారికేడ్లు సిరిపురం ఎలా వెళ్లాయి. ఊరి నిండా పోలీసులు నిండారు. టీ షర్టులు వేసుకున్న 2- - 25 ఏళ్ల వయస్సున్న పోలీసులు, కర్నాటక పోలీసులు, సీమాంధ్ర పోలీసులు ఆ ఊరిని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని, యాదయ్య బంధువులను అదిలించి, బెదిరించి యాదయ్య శవాన్ని బొంద పెట్టేశారు. ఈ టీషర్టులు వేసుకున్న పోలీసులే అవసరానని బట్టి విద్యార్థుల్లో కలిసి దుండగపు పనులు చేస్తున్నారని విద్యార్థి సంఘాలవారు ఆరోపిస్తున్నారు. మీడిాయ వారిని అందరిని కూడా ఖనన స్థలానికి వెళ్లనివ్వలేదు. వెళ్లిన ఒకరిద్దరు కెమెరాల వారిని అదుపు చేసి బొంద పెట్టే వార్తాదృశ్యాలను అదుపు చేసి ఉంటారు లేదా పోలీసువారికి ఇబ్బంది లేనివిధంగా చిత్రీకరించుకోనిచ్చి ఉంటారు. విమర్శకులకు సమాధానం చెప్పడానికే అన్నట్లు గద్దర్, హరీష్, తీగల కృష్ణారెడ్డి లాంటి ముగ్గురిని పోలీసులు అనుమతించారు. పోలీసులు ఇంత దుర్మార్గం ఎందుకు చేస్తున్నారు. కింది పోలీసులు వారంతట వారుగా ఇలాంటి పనులు చేయరు. వారికి ఇలాంటి ఆదేశాలు ఇస్తున్నవారెవరు. ఈ ఆదేశాలు ఇస్తున్నవారిని ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నవారెవరు. పోలీసు అధికారుల్లో తెలంగాణవారు ఏడు శాతం మంది కూడా లేకపోవడం దీనికి.

మొత్తం మీద పోలీసులు ఏ అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటనలు జరగకుండా యాదయ్య శవాన్ని బొంద పెట్టేశారు. యాదయ్య శవంతో పాటు తెలంగాణ సమస్యను బొంద పెట్టేశాం అని కించిత్తు గర్వంతో ఊపిరి పీల్చుకుని ఉంటారు. పోలీసు మంత్రి సబిత, ముఖ్యమంత్రి రోశయ్యలు మాత్రం ఈ విషయాన్ని గమనించనట్లే ఉండిపోయారు. ఎప్పటిలాగే పట్టువదలని విక్రమార్కుల వలే ఉస్మానియా విద్యార్థులు మాత్రం ఆ రోజు రాత్రి వెలుగుతున్న క్యాండిల్స్ తో యాదయ్యకు నివాళులు అర్పించారు. బహుశా యాదయ్యది 289వ శవం. మరణం. భేతాళ పోలీసులు ఇంకో ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్న తెలంగాణ వ్యక్తి శవాన్ని వెతుక్కుంటూ వెళ్లారు.

శనివారం ఉదయం పెట్రోలు పోసుకుని ఆత్మహత్యా యత్నానికి పాల్పడిన యాదయ్య ఆ రాత్రికే శవమయ్యాడు. ఆదివారం ఉదయం దాదాపు అదే వేళకు బొంద పెట్టబడ్డాడు. అతి సాధారణ రీతిలో, ఆసాధారణంగా పోలీసు బలగాల మధ్య అంత్యక్రియలు జరిగాయి. యాదయ్య నక్సలైట్ కాదు కాబట్టి మానవ హక్కుల సంఘాలు యాగిచేయవు. యాదయ్య అగ్రకులం వాడు కాదు కాబట్టి వారి కనుసన్నల్లో మెదిలే మీడియా, ప్రజా సంఘాలు ఏమీ మాట్లావు. యాదయ్య టిఆర్ఎస్ నాయకుడు కాదు కాబట్టి వారూ ఏమీ మాట్లాడలేదు. యాదయ్య పేద శాలోల్ల పిల్లవాడు. ఆయన తాత ముత్తాతలందరూ నాగారం వారే. నేత పనివారే, అందుకే యాదయ్య మరణాన్ని త్యాగాన్ని ఎవరూ కీర్తించలేదు. గానం చేయలేదు. యాదయ్య నాయన చేనేతపని చేసి పేదరికంతో అర్దాయుష్కుడయ్యాడు. హైదరాబాదాులో ఆత్మహత్యాయత్నం చేసి చనిపోయాడు. కాబట్టి యాదయ్య ఈ మాత్రం రాతకైనా నోచుకున్నాడు. ఇలా తెలంగాణలో సరాసరిన రోజుకు ఇద్దరు మరణిస్తున్నారు. వారిని ఎవరూ పట్టించుకోవడం లేదు. వారు మీడియాలో సింగిల్ కాలం వార్తకు పరిమితమవుతున్నారు.

యాదయ్య తెలంగాణ కోసం ఆత్మార్పణ చేసుకున్నాడు. అతని అంత్యక్రియలు కెసిఆర్, జయశంకర్, కోదండరామ్, దామోదర్ రెడ్డి లాంటి నాయకులు వేసే మొదటి పిడికెడు మట్టితో మొదలుకొని, తెలంగాణ విద్యార్థులందరూ వేసే తలో పిడికెడు మట్టితో జరగాలని. అలా వేసిన మట్టి గుట్టగా ఏర్పడాలని. అది జహంగీర్ పీర్ దర్గాలాగా తెలంగాణవారందరికీ పుణ్యక్షేత్రం కావాలి. పాపం యాదయ్య అనామకంగా ముగిసిపోయాడు. కొండంత త్యాగానికి బదులుగా పిడికెడు మట్టిని, పిసిరంత గౌరవానికి కూడా నోచుకోలేదు. తప్పు చేసిన పౌరుడిలా పోలీసుల పహారాలో ఖననం అయ్యాడు. యాదయ్యా, క్షమించు, నీ త్యాగానికి, ధైర్యానికి తగిన చావును నీకు చేయలేకపోయాం

TAMA is planning a workshop to get input from the community. This looks like the first step in reconciliation process by the EC which is commendable. It is heard that a lot of people who received this invite did not even respond. Let us see how many people show up or give their input. This will show the real intent of the people, who is really interested in the welfare of the organization and who is just for posts.

2009 తామా కార్యవర్గం నియమాలు పాటించనందుకు కోర్టు వరకు తామాను ఈడ్చుకు వెల్లారు. ఇదే పరిస్థితి NASSTA కు కూడా ఏర్పడుతుందా? దేవుని ఆలయము అని తమ డబ్బును భక్తిని సమర్పించిన భక్తులను లెక్క చెయ్యకుండా స్వామి కార్యము స్వకార్యము ఒక్కటే అన్నట్లుగా తమ స్వంత వ్యాపారాలకు గుడిని వాడుకుంటున్నారని వినికిడి. NASSTA కి జరిగే పూజలకు, పూజారుల సామానులకు NASSTA కార్యవర్గము లో ఒకరి దుఖానం నుంచి సరఫరా చేస్తున్నారని తెలిసింది. సాధారణంగా ఇటువంటి నాన్ ప్రాఫిట్ సంస్థలకు కార్యవర్గం లోని వాళ్ళు గుడి కార్యాలను స్వంత లాభాలను వేరు వేరుగా ఉంచాలన్నది సరయిన పధ్ధతి. ఈ రెండు ముడి పడినప్పుడు లావాదేవీలు ఎంతో దూరంలో ఉంటాయా?
గుడి కోసమని కొన్న వెండి సామానులకు నగలకు లెక్కలు లేవని, ఏవి ఎంత కొన్నారో ఒక్కరు ఇద్దరు తప్ప ఎంతో మందికి తెలియదని వినికిడి. ఇంతవరకు సరిగ్గా గుడి లెక్కలు "ఆడిట్" చెయ్యలేదని అంటున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆడిట్ కమిటి లో ఉన్న వారు పడని కష్టం లేదని ప్రతి దానికి అడ్డంకులేనని వార్త. మొన్న ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లో జరిగిన వరద బాధితులకు సహాయం సేవా ద్వారా ఎందుకిప్పించారు. NATS వారు 5000 వరకు "మ్యాచ్" చేస్తామన్నా వారి ద్వారా ఎందుకు ఇప్పించలేదు? ఇలాగే ఇంకా వేరే సంస్థలు కూడా ఉంది ఉండ వచ్చు. ఇది ఎవ్వరు తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయము? ఎందుకు తీసుకున్నారు? ట్రస్టీలను అడిగారా? అయినా వీరికి భయమన్నదే లేదా? నాన్ ప్రాఫిట్ సంస్థ అన్న తరువాత ఎన్నో నిబంధనలు ఉంటాయి. నాన్ ప్రాఫిట్ అంటే IRS వారికి పన్ను కట్టనక్కరలేదు. దానికని ఎన్నో నిబంధనలు పాటించవలసి వస్తుంది. గుడి కార్యకర్తలు ఈ నిబంధనలు పాటిస్తున్నారా ? గుడి లోని రాజకీయ వేత్తలు కోర్టు కేసు అవ్వక ముందే వారి తప్పులను సరి దిద్దుకుంటారా? లేక ఇది కూడా ఒక తామా అవ్వ వలసి వస్తుందా?

ఆంధ్రా ప్రజలు మమ్ములను దోచుకుతింటున్నారు

ప్రత్యెక తెలంగాణా వాదులు మొదట ఆరోపించేదే ఇది. ఆంధ్రా ప్రజలు మమ్ములను దోచుకుతింటున్నారు అని.

ఇది ఎంత వరకూ నిజం ?

మొదటి నుంచీ తెలంగాణా నిజం పాలనలో ఉంది. పి.వి.నరసింహారావు తన "థ ఇన్ సైడర్ " లో నిజం పాలన గురించి వ్రాసారు. "తెలంగాణా ప్రజల తెలివి తేటలు వికసించకుండా చేసాడు నిజాం" అని.
ఆ తర్వాత కర్నూలు ని రాజధానిగా వదులుకుని ఆంధ్రా ప్రజలు, హైదరాబాదుని రాజధానిగా చేసుకుని హైదరాబాదుని అభివృద్ధి చేసారు.

మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్ అధినేత బిల్ గేట్స్ ఇండియా వచ్చినప్పుడు డైరెక్ట్ గా హైదరాబాదు లో దిగాడంతే అర్ధం చేసుకోవచ్చు హైదరాబాదు ఎంత అభివృద్ధి అయ్యిందో అని.

ఇప్పుడు ఆంధ్రా ప్రజలు బాధ పడుతున్నారు అప్పుడు కర్నూలుని రాజధానిగా చేసుకున్నా బాగుండేదని.
కానీ తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు " ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళు మమ్ములను దోచుకుని తింటున్నారు " అని ఆరోపిస్తున్నారు . ఇది ఎంత వరకూ సమంజసం. ?

హైదరాబాదులో ఆంధ్రులు ఒక్కరే పరాయి వారు కాదు దాదాపు అన్నీ రాష్ట్రాల ప్రజలు ఉన్నారిక్కడ. వాళ్ళందరూ దోచుకోవడం లేదా ?
రాజస్తాన్ నుంచీ, గుజరాత్ నుంచీ మార్వాడీలు దాదాపు దేశం లోని అన్నీ పట్టణాలలోనూ విస్తరించారు. వారి వ్యాపారాలను అభివృద్ధి చేసుకున్నారు. అంటే వారు దోచుకుని తిన్నాట్టా ?

తెలంగాణా ప్రజలకు నేను చెప్పేది ఏమిటంటే ....
>>ఆంధ్రా ప్రజలు దోచుకు తింటున్నారు అని అంటున్నారు కదా , ఎలా దోచుకున్నారు ?
దొంగ తనాలు చేసారా ? మోసాలు చేసారా ?

>> తెలంగాణా వెనకబడటానికి కారణం రాజకీయ నాయకులు,
ముందు వారిని చెప్పు తీసుకుని కొట్టండి.
రోడ్లు, త్రాగు నీటి వసతులు, బ్లా..బ్లా ..సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించని రాజకీయనయకులది తప్పు.
ప్రత్యెక తెలంగాణా కోసం ఇంత గోల చేసే బదులు ఒక్క రాజకీయ నాయకుడిని నిలదీసి ఉంటే అందరు రాజకీయ నాయకులు భయపడే వారు.

వీరు కూడా ఆంధ్రా నుంచీ వచ్చారు. వచ్చి 15 ఏళ్ళు అయ్యింది.

ప్రత్యెక తెలంగాణా వస్తే అందరినీ పంపిస్తారా ? లేక పోతే పొట్టకూటికోసం వచ్చిన వాళ్ళనీ తరిమేస్తారా? అని ఉద్యమ కారులు నిర్ణయిస్తారట.

ఇహ నుంచీ హైదరాబాదులో ఉండాలంటే వీసా ఉండాలేమో.

అసలు ఈ స్వతంత్ర భారత దేశం లో ఒకడిని ఉండమనటానికి పొమ్మనటానికి వీళ్ళ కేమిటి అధికారం ?

మతం అంటే అభిప్రాయం లేక అభిప్రాయాల సముదాయము.

నేను నా అభిప్రాయాలన్నిటినీ మార్చుకుంటున్నాను. ఇది తప్పు కాదు. చాలా మంది దుష్ట రాజకీయ నాయకులు మతం మార్చుకున్నారు ఓట్ల కోసం మరియు నోట్ల కోసం . వారి ముందు నేనెంత?

అందుకని నేను తెలంగాణా కోసం తీవ్రం గా వాదిస్తా ! అలాగని నన్ను తెలంగాణా తీవ్ర వాది అని ముద్ర వేయవద్దు.
తెలంగాణా కోసం ఊగ్రంగా వాదిస్తా ! నన్ను తెలంగాణా ఊగ్ర వాది అని పిలవొద్దు.

అలాగనే తెలంగాణా వాదిని అన్నాను కదా అని...

ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళ ఆస్తులు తగల పెట్టడానికి పిలవొద్దు.
బంద్ లకు , రాస్తారోకోలకు రమ్మని అనవద్దు
బస్సులను నాశనం చేయడానికి కబురు పంపొద్దు దయ చేసి .

ఆ రోజు నన్ను ఎంత జాగ్రత్తగా చూసుకున్నారో తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు,
ఇక్కడ గమనిచ వలిసిందేమిటంటే వారెవ్వరూ తెలంగాణా ఉద్యమం లో పాల్గొనలేదు. విధి నిర్వహణ లో నిమగ్న మయ్యారు. ఎవరి పని పాట వారు చూసుకున్నారు. కొంత మందితక్క.
కేవలం నాకు ప్రాణ రక్షణ కల్పించడానికి, వారు వారి జీవితాశాయ మైన తెలంగాణా ని త్యాగం చేసారు.
అందుకనే నేను తెలగాణ మతము ను స్వీకరిస్తాను.

Urgent Help Needed: SAVE A LIFE

My brother K.Madhava Reddy was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) - a type of Blood Cancer- in November, 2007. He was undergoing treatment for the above said disease since then under the supervision of Dr. SVSS Prasad, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. He completed B.Tech 3rd year in VNR Vignan Jyothi - Hyderabad. The treatment was going fine till Oct. 2009 when the doctor noticed that the disease has relapsed.

The doctor advised that the only way he can sustain was by undergoing a BMT (Bone Marrow Transplantation). He was accordingly prepared for this BMT by giving high dosage of chemotherapy. Now, the reports have showed remission and the doctor has referred to Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai for undergoing transplant as this facility is not available at Hyderabad.

We have consulted Dr. Jose M Easow, BMT specialist who has conducted the required investigations and advised for an immediate admission and transplantation. The donor for transplantation is his Sister (i.e me) whose marrow has matched with Madhav’s marrow.

The estimate given by Apollo Chennai (attached) is for Rs.15 lakhs. Other incidental expenditure will be 3 to 5 lakhs. Both my parents have expired. Till now my uncle (M.V.Srinivasa Reddy) has borne all the expenditure and has already spent approx. Rs.10 lakhs towards his treatment. But now since the amount is huge, I request you to lend out a helping hand and support us in making this transplant successful. The transplant will take place anytime between 8/02/2010 and 22/02/2010.

Any kind of help whatsoever will be deeply appreciated. Your help and support will give Madhav a chance to lead a normal life once again. All amounts shall be accepted with gratitude.

Srikrishna panel only for consultations?
Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has stuck to his word by announcing the much-publicised committee on deciding the fate of “Andhra Pradesh” on Wednesday morning.

The members of this committee are

(1) Shri Justice B N Srikrishna, retired Judge, Supreme Court of India - Chairman

(2) Prof (Dr) Ranbir Singh, Vice Chancellor, National Law University, Delhi - Member

(3) Dr Abusaleh Shariff, Senior Research Fellow, International Food Policy Research Institute, Delhi - Member

(4) Dr (Ms) Ravinder Kaur, Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT, Delhi - Member

(5) Shri Vinod K Duggal, IAS (Retd), former Home Secretary - Member Secretary

The academics are experts in various fields and Duggal had a vast experience in various ministries.

So far so good. But what is confusing in the committee is that it does not mention whether the committee will look into the problems arising out of the bifurcation of the state and suggest remedies for the same or is just confined to holding consultations with various stakeholders and submit a report to the government. Going by the press release from the Home Ministry, it is meant to hold wide-ranging consultations with all sections of the people and all political parties and groups in Andhra Pradesh on the prevailing situation.

However, it also says the committee has been constituted in pursuance of statements made by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on December 9, 2009 and December 23, 2009 and the meeting he held with the eight recognised political parties of Andhra Pradesh on January 5, 2010. “In all these statements, Chidambaram specifically talked about the Telangana state formation. So, there is no need to specifically mention about Telangana in the press release,” a Telangana leader interpreted.

Anyway, the clouds will be cleared once the Committee finalises the terms of reference, which are now being drafted.

No accountability for Srikrishna panel
The appointment of Justice Srikrishna Committee is yet another step towards solving the Telangana imbroglio, but one doubts the authenticity of the committee.

The committee, according to reports from Delhi, was constituted only through an executive order from the Union Home Ministry. So, it is not a judicial commission formed under the Commisisoner of Inquries Act of Parliament nor is it an empowered committee of the supreme court. As such, it does not submit its report to Parliament or Supreme Court. Thus, it is not legally binding.

There was a talk that the committee would be constituted by the State Cabinet, after discussing it in the Cabinet Committee of Parliamentary Affairs, which is to meet on February 4. But before that, it happened. Now, the Telangna leaders are wondering it has any legal sanctity.

ఒక చక్కని మాట... మనము మారమా?

Ref: Sankranthi Sambaraalu: Shouldn’t we learn any lessons from past programs!!!

Seems we couldn’t. Or probably, we don’t want to. Or even if we learn, don’t we intend to implement! Or else, every committee wants to add its own spice without bothering much about time, space and quality management in the cultural programs.

The report says, “The function, under the able leadership….was a grand success with over 1000 people… attending the event in droves”. As usual, we tend to measure success with turn-out numbers. May be, for some, it’s a success. And for some, if not few of them, it wasn’t. Why mixed response then! Concept of two panels/groups doesn’t seem to be the reason, bcoz this is not an election though. Audience turn out just to enjoy the program and spend some quality time with friends and families. Then, why was this ‘grand success or not-so-success’ fuss! Was it because of long schedule, or was it bcoz of less gossip/sitting-space, was it bcoz of the same ‘quality-less-hungama-more’ kind of programs or was it bcoz of the ‘mike-hungry-political-cum-personal-propaganda’ speeches? Perhaps, some would attribute it to a couple of the above, but then we’ve always been missing the root cause, our unlearning attitude from the past programs.

While we always tend to learn lessons from our past mistakes in our day-to-day lives, why doesn’t it seem to happen in case of our TAMA programs - that we so much love to take ownership of. Here are a few things we often tend to ignore, but we need to ponder about.

Time management: It’s good that every damn little thing appeared in the program list and it shows that the ‘all-new-faces-EC’ is trying to pacify and impress upon one and all - including the the so-called biggies of the community - every recognized character from all angles. It’s a gigantic effort by itself. But, with that comes up speeches, felicitations and blah, blahs etc, and that kills a hell lot of time as well. However, was this process ever sounded interesting to the majority of the audience!, never ever. Still ‘committee-after-committee’ continues it. Nobody bothers about ‘lessons-to-learn’. Nobody bothers about audience feelings …nobody bothers about nothing except showing-off -:)…give it a thought folks, can’t we manage programs in a better timely fashion! We can if we’re open to learn lessons from past programs, isn’t it! But , the theme followed would be ‘When you are at peace with the world you can focus on work, family and community(service!)’.

Space management: Of course, there was little time to get the right venue for the program after that bitterly-fought elections, failure-frustrations and victory-parties. That might’ve tempted to go for ‘welcome and thanks’ messages, which might’ve pleased some and disturbed others. Even then, didn’t we expect more audience this time! Seems not, bcoz the venue that we could get - simply couldn’t fit neither the sitting nor the standing audience; neither the gossip-mongers nor the green-room girls. Seems, no sponsors came forward to fund a bigger venue -:)…Still, audience don’t’ tend to complain. But, guess what, they also never stop reserving seats that would lie empty half of the time. Anyway, as always, our program happened at least a week after the actual festival that has become a norm these days. No complaints though, but how about ‘lessons-learnt’ folks!

Quality care: Seems, we never ever bother about this. Is it bcoz ‘not-to-say-no’ attitude to parents or is it bcoz everybody wants to grab either mike or stage in a TAMA program! Whatever children do, their respective parents do like it most of the time, and it makes sense then. What doesn’t make sense is - being in an illusion that other parents also do like our ‘kids walking (or learning to walk on stage), jumping with hand-gestures, and so on! Some say, ‘Kaaki pilla kaaki ki muddu’, can we find fault with that saying! Again why can’t we learn from our past programs and its feed-back, if there has been any out there, with an open-mind! Can’t we have an open invitation on a smaller stage, such as kids-fest, or any competitive-kind of program apriori, filter out better presentable items for a bigger audience, all for the sake of quality! Can’t we just stop blah-blah-ing on success and focus on bringing the quality product!

'Kya kare bhai! Jaise apan log - vaise hi programs bhee, kya bolte!'

Content mismatch: Every committee wants to impress upon one or the other, that too on their first program itself and that too on the bigger TAMA event only - be it mike-savvy speeches, volunteer recognitions, personnel felicitations, sponsors’ kick-offs , homeopathy lectures or whatever. Other than the organizers and the respective recipients, does anybody else in the audience care much about it! Debatable, isn’t it! Again, we tend to ignore it all the way, nobody cares to learn any lesson though. Can’t we have these kind of items on another plat-form where it could be received respectfully - not necessarily in the first event or in the big events though! We’ve ‘Global mall’ any way, for all universally acceptable events, including compromising and consensus meetings :).

Food: Again, report-after-report says, such as the latest one “The food sponsored by… was greatly appreciated by the audience. Snacks provided by….sold like hot cakes”. Served to how many and appreciated by how many, and as usual, how many couldn’t get it! Has it ever been cost-effective! A coke-can costs a dollar in the stall, while a vending machine silently accepts a lesser amount. Honestly, a $4 or a $6 meal has never been a crowd-pulling quality product for the hotel that serves it. Rather it’s a crowd-compelling product - bcoz many a one want to take it easy and eat with friends and families while not many wish to cook at home that late or stop by a hotel on their way back home. This attitude of the attendees has always been taken for granted and it has an ever-lasting impact on the food menu or quality that we get there. ‘Food sold-out’ might not just mean appreciated, but it could be of less-quantity and some could have gone with empty-stomachs. Again, nobody wants to take a note of it!

Kids care: In every event, the hosts continuously plead for silence and it eventually goes unheard as usual. Why are we so ignorant of those requests! In our respective houses, we take care of our kids so nicely. But in a TAMA event, we tend to leave the children free and they tend to behave uncontrollable. That would add up to casual conversations, and ultimately somebody urges for silence and somebody else shouts back for mike repairs. To avoid this formally, we often hear about ‘nanny-kind of care with games or so ‘ in a room within the venue, but it never seems to materialize. Anyway, the concern again comes back to ‘ lessons-unlearnt’, isn’t it!

So, the bottom-line is , can we expect anything different coming up, unless we make an honest attempt on ‘lessons-learnt’ concept!

As a political observer, I would say, BIG NO, Congress party is more interested in weakening opposition parties than giving separate Telangana State and making sure that they are making way for congress central government formation in 2014. Poor parties like Lok Satta, Praja Rajyam are fallen prey for Telangana sentiment bait and split into half. On the other hand CBN, who graduated from Congress school of thoughts, maintained strategic silence and so far able to keep TDP united. Now Congress is forming committee for Telangana for increasing assault on opposition parties.

Even though TRS had alliance with TDP in last 2009 elections, after the elections TRS dumped TDP. Now it is looks like Congress is using TRS for effectively dividing all opposition parties. Contrary to that argument, congress is effectively dancing on Snake heads and igniting inside quarrel in opposition parties . It will be interesting to see that whether they are going to kill a snake (Subside Telangana Movement and keep Andhra Pradesh United) or will be swallowed by Telangana separatists.

Because of strategic silence maintained by TDP, lower ranks of this party in all regions of the Andhra pradesh, going in attrition state. Same situation is happening for Congress leaders in Telangana and they are not able to face the peoples brunt. Both Congress and TDP are in catch 22 situation. I was thinking that Praja Rajyam is able to sing samaikya andhra pradesh tunes in Telangana, but Chiru is not able to transform into Tollywood hero and getting into action in Telangana. It may be in lighter vein, need to keep separation of Tollywood dream world to keeping Andhra Pradesh united.

Now is the time for Congress and TDP parties to come out openly, say whether they are for separate Telangana or United Andhra Pradesh. It should be in black and white with single statement. If Congress and TDP are for separate Telangana state, we need to intensify our movement and ask resignation of MLA's and MP's who in support of Samaikya Andhra Pradesh. Congress and TDP parties are testing our patience and it is time for us to take action.

If the same political situation continues in Andhra Pradesh, all the major political parties are going to get crushed beyond recognition. It is evident from current political system, none of the political parties are interested in development of Telangana and they are only interested in Telangana votes. TRS and left wing ballads are only interested separating Telangana state but not development of Telangana by filling up younger Telangana minds with poison of hatred. These radical forces are following mushroom theory, where they are keeping Telangana people in dark and feeding garbage. It is time for new political leadership should come up from Telangana to protect interests and development of Telangana in Samaikya Andhra Pradesh.

BJP is champion of dividing smaller states in India. They have carved out Chattisgarh, Jarkhad and Uttaranchal three states during NDA government. They have passed separate Telangana state resolution during Kakinada summit. But they have dumped separate Telangana state issue during NDA government because they need support of TDP MPs. Later they have resorted to in support of Telangana formation after TDP dumping BJP alliance. This whole idea was coined by BJP, which is so far divided three smaller states and all of their economy is going in drain. Now congress government picking up this idea and trying to take advantage of it.

Here are couple of other angles we can look into for BJP idea behind supporting separate Telangana other than its policy for smaller state formation. It is proved that, Its vote percent is constantly dwindling during last couple of elections. It has become norm that in the central government formation is dictated by Andhra Pradesh people, I would rather say what ever Andhra Pradesh thinks then rest of the India thinks the same. Andhra Pradesh share of Member of Parlament have given clear verdict in central government formation in last couple of Lok Sabha elections. Political think tank of BJP thought to counter this situation in Andhra Pradesh, because they just have one percent of vote bank in AP. If they are so strictly following their small state policies, then they should have given Telangana in NDA term it self, which they have betrayed Telangana separatists and not kept their Kakinada resolution.

BJP propaganda machinery RSS and VHP are running in all cylinders to campaign for separate Telangana state. Unlike other states, Andhra Pradesh is dominant political parties are not leaving any place for other national parties. Some times I feel political setup in Tamilnadu is better than other states because there are two state level political parties are not allowing any space for national parties. Because of this political structure, Tamil Nadu is able to get more central funding. I believe in stronger and bigger States are needed in Indian Union, in that way state governments can have balancing power centers with central government. If we have smaller states that makes central government more powerful. It will leads to colonization of India.

Telangana have significant Muslim and smaller percent of Christian population. As one can observe from different regions, where ever there is significant muslim population, BJP utilizes that situation for gaining vote share. As whole of AP, because of even distribution of caste and religious demographics, BJP is not able to score better. If Telangana state forms, then there will be uneven distribution of religious groups in Telangana, that will be beneficial for BJP. Because of this main reason BJP is supporting for Telangana, mere political milage rather than love for Telangana development or growth.

Based on smaller state policy, does BJP have guts to divide Karnataka state into Coorg and North Karnataka States ?

SANKRANTHI SAMBARALU - Not a Bad show..

Yes .. More than 700 people attended TAMA's Sankranthi sambaralu.. Let's not get over excited over this number .. Here are the few factors that attributed the turnout..
1. It was Saturday afternoon (remember there are no NFL games this Sat)
2. In addition to local talent, Professional artist was performing
3. The venue is in Abids… Sorry I meant Alpharetta…

Anyways.. Let's get back to program.. In all fairness.. It was good show by TAMA Executive committee.. Considering the time they had after election,they must have really worked hard to organize this event..

Quality of programs are not bad (though couple of them could be easily avoided)
Reverse gear (Guruswamy) was funny..
Dinner was alright.. (though few complained about shortage and small servings)
Snack was Ok

Sound system was annoying at times (especially when anchors were there)
Anchoring faltered BIG TIME…(sorry did'nt get their names)
Male anchor did not seem to know what he was talking..
Female anchor was below average at best..

As expected the program did not start on time.. Hence finished very late.. Speeches and felicitations did not help the clock either..

Overall I give 3.5/5 for the Program.. Kudos to the team (espcially volunteers who always get unnoticed) for their hardwork..and hoping for much better show next time..

Tail piece : I have received phone calls day before reminding us of the event .. Which is understandable.. Then to my surprise I received another call thanking for attendance.. which remided be of saying "Athi Vinayam… ".. I am sure you know the rest .. I don’t have to fill up..

Press Release – Jai Samaikya Andhra Pradesh supporters meeting in Atlanta, USA on Sunday, 24th Jan 2010

Jai Samaikya Andhra Pradesh, Atlanta, USA unit met on Sunday January 24th in Atlanta to extend their support for the United Andhra Pradesh. Over 100 Telugu NRI's gathered and expressed their views on current Andhra Pradesh situation. Venkat Mondeddu acted as the moderator for the event. Nalamotu Chakravarthy, from Nalgonda, Author of "Telangana State Demand - A Bhasmasura Wish" televised his expert comments on truth behind the allegations made by Telangana separatists. He also involved in Q&A session from the audience. Srinivas Cherukumilli talked about history of Andhras and the formation of Trilinga state to Andhra Pradesh. He stressed that Andhra Pradesh state is not a 60 years old but evolved over centuries.

Ravi Singareddy from Nizamabad, architect of Telangana Railway Ring Project, expressed his anguish over how the unemployed Telangana politicians are manipulating people of Telangana over non issues and condemned magnifying normal issues. He blasted Telangana politicians over non completion of Jagityal to Nizamabad railway, which was started 18 years ago by Late Indian Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao, which will cost 345 crores for completion. He questioned the credibility of Telangana politicians, who can not concentrate on development of Telangana but talk about separate Telangana state. He advised people of Telangana not to fall prey for these selfish Telangana politicians. He said Telangana’s under-development issue is only resolved by development and not by division.

Devanand Kondur explained how Telugu people merged together to form Andhra Pradesh. He stressed on strength in unity of Telugu people. Purna Veeraneni explained, if Telangana state is formed, how the employment will be reduced and reduction in state budget will lead to reduction of the welfare programs. Venkatarami Reddy Chintham expressed his anger and explained that Duke University’s campus which is supposed to start in Hyderabad, has moved to Gujarath due to the current situation in A.P. He was mediating to bring Duke University campus to Hyderabad.

Srinivas Lavu, Satish Musunuri, Sunil Gandhi and Kumar Paladugu condemned the statement made by the Home Minister on Dec 9th, 2009 which led to chaotic situation in Andhra Pradesh. Raj Kasireddy and Anand Akkineni expressed these divisions in states will lead to India into 600 princely states of British era. Srinivas Segireddy and Suresh Peddi questioned the real intensions behind the division of Telugu people. Kiran Kandula said division of Telangana will only give employment to unemployed Telangana politicians and not to the people of Telangana. Mallik Medarametla, Rajesh Jampala and Upendra Narra expressed sadness over current Andhra Pradesh and expressed anger for taking Telugu people for a ride. Alwal Reddy, from Nalgonda, expressed concern over Telangana politicians not resolving Fluorosis problem in Nalgonda, but trying to bring additional problems by the division of Telangana. Gopichand Sukhavasi and Gopi Duggirala demanded why central government took such a drastic decision in this current recession times, where people are struggling to lead their lives because of exorbitant commodity prices and putting people of Andhra Pradesh into bankruptcy. Madhu Sudan and Sudhakar Borra expressed their concern over Andhra Pradesh’s development being rolled back to 10 years and other states exploiting uncertainty in Andhra Pradesh.

Srinivas Kotluri, expressed concern over how American OutSourcing companies are closely observing Hyderabad situation and these companies are not able to fulfill their customer requests. This is leading to termination of Service Level Agreements with Hyderabad software companies. Guruva reddy and Shivaram Mattipalli showed their dissatisfaction over current situation in Andhra Pradesh and expressed strong leadership is needed to tackle current situation in Andhra Pradesh.

Finally Samaikya Andhra Pradesh, Atlanta unit announced they will be releasing road map for Samaikya Andhra Pradesh movement. Samaikya Andhra Pradesh team expressed their gratitude to Suresh Sajja owner of Sai Murali Indian Restaurant, Alpharetta, Georgia for providing the nice facility for this event.

IN BOTH THE GREAT epics of India, Ramayana and Mahabharata, war ends not with celebration of victory but with transmission of knowledge. In the Ramayana, Ravan lies mortally wounded on the battlefield and the monkeys are celebrating their victory, when Ram turns to his brother, Lakshman, and says, "While Ravan was a brute, he was also a great scholar. Go to him quickly and request him to share whatever knowledge he can."

The obedient Lakshman rushes to Ravan's side and whispers in his ears, "Demon king, all your life you have taken not given. Now the noble Ram gives you an opportunity to mend your ways. Share your vast wisdom. Do not let it die with you. For that you will be surely be blessed."

Ravan responds by simply turning away. An angry Lakshman goes back to Ram and says: "He is as arrogant as he always was, too proud to share anything." Ram looks at his brother and asks him softly, "Where did you stand while asking him for knowledge?" "Next to his head so that I hear what he had to say clearly." Ram smiles, places his bow on the ground and walks to where Ravan lies. Lakshman watches in astonishment as his brother kneels at Ravan's feet.

With palms joined, with extreme humility, Ram says, "Lord of Lanka, you abducted my wife, a terrible crime for which I have been forced to punish you. Now, you are no more my enemy. I see you now as you are known across the world, as the wise son of Rishi Vishrava. I bow to you and request you to share your wisdom with me. Please do that for if you die without doing so, all your wisdom will be lost forever to the world."

To Lakshman's surprise, Ravan opens his eyes and raises his arms to salute Ram, "If only I had more time as your teacher than as your enemy. Standing at my feet as a student should, unlike your rude younger brother, you are a worthy recipient of my knowledge. I have very little time so I cannot share much but let me tell you one important lesson I have learnt in my life. Things that are bad for you seduce you easily; you run towards them impatiently. But things are actually good for you fail to attract you; you shun them creatively, finding powerful excuses to justify your procrastination. That is why I was impatient to abduct Sita but avoided meeting you. This is the wisdom of my life, Ram. My last words. I give it to you." With these words, Ravan dies.

There's similar knowledge transmission after the Mahabharat war is over and the Kauravas are all dead. As the victorious Pandavas are about to assume control of Hastinapur, Krishna advises them to talk to Bhishma, their grand uncle, who lies mortally wounded on the battlefield. Sure enough, when prompted, the dying Bhishma spends hours discussing various topics: history, geography, politics, economics, management, war, ethics, morality, sex, astronomy, metaphysics and spirituality. Bhishma's discourse is captured in the Shanti Parva (discussions of peace) and Anushasan Parva (discussions on discipline) that makes up a quarter of the Mahabharata. After listening to their grandsire, the Pandavas have a better understanding of the world, and this makes them better kings.

5) 65% of Industries in Telangana are owned by Andhra. One Telangana person (close relative of Sri Jaipal Reddy) tried to start industry in west Godavari, he was harassed and tormented so much that he gave it up half way through.

7) From past 50 years AP got nearly 40 major projects in which 37 went to Seemandhra region

9) Pothireddypadu regulator was originally created for drinking water to Chennai with 5 TMC. Gradually 5 projects were ‘piggy backed’ & augmented to canal. In the name of Chennai drinking water, Rayalaseema leaders wanted to take away the entire waters of Srisailam reservoir.

10) Veligonda project is being constructed on war footing basis. This will drain 60 TMC of water from Srisailam. This project is not allotted (water share by tribunal) and do not have clearance till now.

11) Handrineeva Srujana Sravanthi, not allotted not cleared project is going on war footing now. It will run through chittoor via Anantapur. 12) SLBC - Srisailam Left Bank Canal, despite of all recommendations, Clearances and permissions never started. This would have provided 30 TMC for 3 Lakh acres in Nalgonda district.

13) Manuguru thermal power station proposed by Central govt due to proximity of coal mines was lobbied to be shifted to Vijayawada, transporting coal from telangana (singareni). This led to shortage of power due to pump set usage by Telangana farmers.

14) Ramagundam super thermal power station (2500 MW) transferred to NTPC, crippling power ownership of state by which we get only 27% of power produced and rest is pooled in national grid.

15) Dummugudem Hydal power station never even started construction – this remained a promise on paper.

16) Icchampalli power (975 MW) project never started.

17) Power regulatory mechanisms – 220 KV, 132 KV, 32 KV substations and lines never realized in Telangana region.

76) Technically it is possible to develop water grid to benefit Telangana, Rayalaseema and Andhra regions – it would match in comparison with Mississippi river water system (USA), Three Gorges river system (China), Nile river (Aswan dam) Africa and Rhine river system Europe. Similar models were conceived by intellectuals but are trashed by Andhra rulers and pseudo intellectuals because they will benefit Telangana.

77) 1969 - after Jai Telangana movement 'All Party Accord' was formulated, scrapped within 6 months. Than 8-point formula, 5-point formula were announced. then supreme court upheld Mulki rules. Andhra elites could not digest it, launched Jai Andhra movement. Central govt., yielded as usual to elites tactics, then 6-point formula. Even this is being violated royally many times, robbing Telangana its rightfulness.

78) Nagarjuna Sagar initially meant to benefit Andhra and Telangana. Later on it is modified in such a way that 75% of the benefit is accruing to Andhra reducing the share of Telangana region to just 25%. Andhra settlers own 50% of these 25% utilization lands.

79) Singur project was originally designed to meet primarily the irrigation needs of Medak and Nizamabad districts. But it is now solely used for meeting the requirements of capital city.

80) Jurala Project which is the first project on river Krishna meant for Telangana, is the smallest of all the projects built on this river. The Bachawat Tribunal allocated just 17.5 TMC ft. water for this project, and the state government reduced its storage capacity to 60% ft. But the actual utilization so far has not been more than 10%

81) Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme was to irrigate 87500 acres in Mahabubnagar. The Bachawat Tribunal also allocated 15.90 TMC ft. of water for this project. This water has to pass through a canal in Raichur district of Karnataka State. After the formation of Andhra Pradesh landlords of Rayalaseema blasted the gates with bombs and diverted water to their land. Since then Govt., never even tried to reconstruct the gates.

82) Devadula Project, provides water for 5 lakh acres, was promised to be finished in 5 yrs in 2001, yet to begin work. The funniest fact is, Sriram sagar is yet to be completed for last 40 yrs which provides water for just 4 lakh acres. Telangana people are supposed to believe the promise.

83) Two major projects proposed on river Godavari are Ichampally and Polavaram. Ichampally is meant for Telangana and Polavaram for Andhra. The irrigation potential of Polavaram Project would be 6 to 7 times more than the irrigation potential of Ichampally. Ichampally is going to be primarily a power project not a irrigation project !

84) Andhra lands are irrigated by canal irrigation i.e. with tax payer’s money. Andhra farmer pays Rs 200 - 300 per annum as water charges. Telangana lands are irrigated by bore wells, entire cost is on the farmer . Digging, power, bore well, motor, pipes. He struggles with fluctuations in power supplies with irregularities and pathetic power distribution pattern in Telangana.

85) Technological University was actually started in Warangal but was shifted to Hyderabad, Open University was originally Nalgonda district but was later shifted Hyd. The same State Level Universities, University of Health Sciences, Mahila University and the University of Dravidian Languages were allowed to stay in Seemandhra - not moved to Capital city.

86) Twelve milk chilling plants established by the erstwhile Telangana Regional Committee in different parts of Telangana have been abruptly closed down showing lack of funds as a reason.

87) Ramagundam is in heart of coal belt … Fertilizer plant is closed showing a reason as poor quality of coal. NTPC is running with same coal, VTPS is running with same coal. Subsequently, Fertilizer plants are started in Nellore and Andhra.

88) Based on the proportionality at least 40% of jobs, i.e. 6 lakhs, should have gone to Telangana. But the total number of jobs now occupied by them is less than 3 lakhs.

89) 1972, PV Narasimha Rao made an attempt to implement the verdict of Supreme Court validating the Mulki Rules. The verdict was in favor of Telangana. Seemandhra gave outrageous reaction, he lost his Chief Ministership.

90) If it is assumed that the leaders of a region becoming chief ministers can contribute to the development of that region, then why do the people of Rayalaseema complain of backwardness ?

91) Daily wage workers working in industries – from Andhra (9 districts) 3.16 lakhs, from Rayalaseema (4 districts)– 0.7 lakhs, Telangana (10 district) 0.81 lakhs.

92) Andhra controlled media never highlighted migration of 15 lakh people out of 24lakh population from Mahabubnagar due to draught conditions. T. Anjaiah CM of AP from Telangana region was presented as a buffoon in dailies and cartoons.

93) At the time of merger Andhra leaders persuaded Telangana leaders by offering many safeguards against exploitation. They also passed a Unanimous Resolution’ in November 1955 in Andhra Assembly in support of safeguards and subsequently they put these safeguards in an Agreement on 20th February. 1956 which is known as “Gentlemen’s Agreement”. All are trashed soon after the agreement is signed.

94) Proportional representation says Telangana should get 42% jobs in the Secretariat, but only 9% are working now. How can a people representative, MLA, MLC can get a work done if 91% do not help ?

95) Metro Rail project is being designed dilapidating 5000 shops, 2500 houses, 147 schools, 120 hospitals, 60 Temples/Masjid/Churches. Historical monuments will disappear. All shops and complexes throughout Metro rail route are with Seemandhra thugs.

96) 1947 India got Independence. 1948 Indian Army did police action to dethrone Nizam. Hyderabad state existed from 1949 to 1956. Telangana merged with Andhra against its wishes in1956. Telangana has nothing to do with Potti Sriramulu.

97) Telangana Sayudha Poratam, (Telangana armed struggle) was against Nizam facist rule, 4000 people died - inspired all subsequent land movements in West Bengal, Kerala and Tripura and paved way for formation of Communist governments in those States. This is never acknowledged by Seemandhra rulers so far.

98) Despite 69% Krishna, 79% Godavari flows through Telangana, irrigation cost is Rs.1500/acre. 13% of Krishna, 21% Godavari flows through Andhra irrigation cost is Rs.150/acre.

99) Per capita income of Madhya Pradesh: Rs 18,051. Chattisgarh formed in 2000. Per capital income of Chhattisgarh in 2008-09 - Rs. 29,621. Recently formed smaller states are catching up with Haryana is 71%, Himachal is 81% and Uttarakhand is 75% - now Jharkhand 58%, Chhattisgarh 63%. Also, Infant mortality UP 67%, Uttarakhand 44%.

100) Yr 2008 Targeted growth rate & achieved: bigger states: MP 7% - 4.3%; UP 7.6% - 4.6%; Bihar 6.2% 4.7% smaller states: Chhattisgarh 6.1% - 9.2%; Jharkhand 6.9% - 11.1% Uttaranchal 6.8% - 8.8%

101) Since 1956 to date, the additional irrigation potential created in Telangana Is only 5%

102) There are 10,000+ Industrial units in Telangana, 1200 are owned by Telanganites, 6500 are owned by Seemandhra, rest are by outsiders.

103) Proportionally Telangana should be given about 43% in budget allocation, Since 1953, it never exceeded 30%. Yet Telangana contributes 42% of revenue to the state exchequer.

104) Nizamsagar was built in 1931 to serve Nizamabad and Medak about 2.7 lakh acres of land. It was neglected for maintenance and improvements, now satellite images prove that all its 83 tributaries, 243 distributaries have been silted up and eroded. World Bank sanctioned 30 crores for the project, which was never spent. The project now going to be almost useless.

105) In Andhra region every year two crops are cultivated because of water availability, in Telangana a single crop will be cultivated with great difficulty. 106) Technical institutions wise, 26 are in Telangana, 54 are in Andhra. 20 polytechnics in Telangana, 70 in Andhra. 2 Medical colleges in Telangana, 6 in Andhra.

107) British build Railways, Administrative Services, Post and Telegraph, installed democratic institutions, judiciary, rule of law, and built the cities of Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, and New Delhi. British did not claim any of these when they had to leave India. Seemandhra are making big hue and cry clamoring for Hyderabad claiming they have built the city. In 400 yrs of Hyderabad history, how many years did they contribute the 'development' ?

108) Hyderabad - demographic expansion can never be considered as a development. It’s natural growth. It is like a girl who is 10 yrs now will attain 15yrs of age after 5 yrs – can we call it development ? Also, its not just Hyderabad which is developed … all big/medium cities in India are in development path.

CBN, YSR and 99% of indian politicians are corrupt. Now a days people are not worrying whether the politician is corrupt or not but they looking whether they can do the things which they have promised.

CBN and YSR are most corrupted AP politicians. But there is one difference CBN invested what ever the money he made invested in abroad and saved in Swiss Bank.

On the other hand, what ever the money YSR made invested in Sakshi TV, Sakshi News Paper, Cement Industries, Power Generation Projects and Steel Industries in Andhra Pradesh. In this way YSR built local economies and also generated employment. If somebody gives employment, usually they are loyal to whoever gave it to them. Compared to all of politicians in AP, YSR have ardent love on Kadapa and also for Andhra Pradesh. Even though he is most corrupted politician, people look him as good politician, excellent entrepreneur and also for keeping his political campaign promises.

What Telangana needs is not separate State, but leader like YSR, who can built industries in Telangana Districts and not in Hyderabad(which is already developed) and generate employment in Telangana districts. Which will stop migration of work force from backward Telangana districts to Gulf, where they treated as slaves. If this work force utilized properly in Telangana districts then Telangana districts will see rapid economic growth. So far in recent in AP history YSR protected interests of Rayalaseema, NTR and CBN protected interests of Andhra and Rayalaseema, now we are looking for a leader from Telangana, who can protects interests of Telangana and also development of Telangana.

But the political problem in Telangana is whoever the strong leader is, they are inclining towards separate Telangana and that way they are not getting popular across Andhra Pradesh. It has become strategic political blunder from Telangana politicians to resorting to Telangana issue. Now in Andhrapradesh political arena, there is a political vacuum exists in Telangana political leadership, who can protects Samaikya Andhra Pradesh. Congress and TDP (Andhra and Rayalaseema political leaders) using Telangana as a vote bank but that should change from within Telangana. New Telangana political leadership should come up and call the shots.

As we have watching closely in to Telangana movement it is appearing as if it is war between Veluma and Kamma communities. In Telangana vemulas are instigating mainly Reddy community, and BC, SC, ST communities. In Andhra and Rayalaseema Kammas are instigating mainly Reddy and Kapu communities for Samaikya Andhra movement. Reddy community people are generally brave people and they are the once they are coming out from both sides and fighting among them selves.

It is interesting to know that Velumas and Kammas are not fighting with their own community but they are fighting with against other communities.

Foolish Reddy community (Picchi Reddlu) are the once they are fighting among themselves in the name of Telanagana movement. If they are continue to do that then Reddy community will be wiped out from Telangana, Andhra and Rayalaseema.

Reddy community should wake up and smell trouble for Reddy community.

History repeats once again like separate Telangana movement in 1969, Chenna Reddy sold out Telangana movement over 369 precious Telangana warriors lives and now stage is set for KCR to sell out Telangana movement over 140 precious lives. Now it is evident from current and past situations politicians are just using Telangana cause for their personal benefits. Now is the time for all our Telangana people to realize that no politician is interested in development of Telangana. It is time for us to realize what we need for Telangana.

Nobody else will have commitment or will power to develop Telangana other than people of Telangana. Combine all the forces of Telangana Development Forum and NRI Telangana community, instead of concentrating on separate Telanga, concentrate on strict implementation 610 GO, Telangana irrigation projects and things like Telangana Railway Ring Project. We need to have coordinated effort and take a challenge of development of Telangana.

Build strong business lobby and entrepreneurship which benefits and betterment of Telangana people. It is my personal advice for all Telangana NRI's to start investing in their home towns and villages. Once one person invests in their home town and it will cyclical action and other entrepreneurs will be start investing in your home town. These local investments will boost up local economies and builds other related businesses. I have roamed all over Andhra Pradesh and realized that except couple of places most of Telangana have excellent living conditions and there are no threats of floods or factionalism or castism. Our people are pretty straight forward and it is our responsibility to build Telangana. My hearts burns and stomach turns upside down after hearing news from Gulf some of our brothers and sisters not able to receive last rights.

Lot of my Telangana brothers and sisters think that separation is solution for Telangana issues but I strongly believe that development of Telangana will resolve all of our issues. Please people think constructively and invest in Telangana towns and districts (not in Hyderabad) and generate employment in our beloved Telangana. If we can not do it then we can not blame other people for our under development. We have potential to build strong political leadership and business entrepreneurship.

Dear TAMA Rachabanda,
I have been following your blog closely for sometime now and have contributed a couple of articles. The concept is very interesting and has a lot of potential to make this place a spot for gathering of minds. However I have found that the tenor of the audience recently has become quite nasty and personal. I will be glad to participate in your podcast as I have had similar thoughts. However I request you to be more aggressive in moderating the blogs as it does not bode well when people throw stones from behind closed doors. I also hope that more people will participate and make this a place for constructive discussion and news dissemination. Hopefully we can leave the vitriol behind and create something nice here.

Here are the guidelines I would like to suggest for the blogs.

1) Leave out abusive language.
2) Leave out personal attacks.
3) Include criticism, however they should be written without abusive or derogatory language.
4) Balanced viewpoints presented from all sides.
5) Stick to the issues and do not let others inject unnecessary (unrelated) issues into the topics.

It was heartening to see so many members of the Telugu community express their opinion during the recently held TAMA elections. Around 1700 members exercised their franchise out of 2700 eligible voters. This shows the potential for growth of TAMA. We request you to please not limit your participation to the election process. The executive committee of TAMA 2010 who are your representatives request you to continue your support for TAMA by becoming members during the 2010 year also. Please post this on your website. We should not encourage for anybody to misuse of the email addresses that were given for TAMA membership.

I am very angry for the fact that my email is now being spammed with several messages such as this everyday. I am not sure who is responsible for this, but I would blame this on the TAMA EC as they should own the fiduciary responsibility for protecting the email addresses.

We should seriously discourage this kind of misuse of our email address by some for profit organizations. We should bring awareness for this and banish such products and organization so that it would send a clear message to them.

So please don't wait. FYI, irrespective of groups, parties every one joining Telangana NRI JAC for telangana cause. There are already 15 Telangana NRIs along with few MLAs and MLCs actively working with students, and other groups on the ground and fighting to their tooth and nail.

Qasim Razvi was the leader of a local militia, the Razakars of Hyderabad, who blocked accession into India after the partition against the wishes of the local population, and fought against the Indian forces during Operation Polo.

Razvi held views that Hyderabad should eventually join Pakistan in a major war against India, as clearly evidenced by some of his speeches and publications in Hyderabadi newspapers. Razvi was politically powerful and a close advisor of the Nizam, whom he encouraged to defy the Indian government, and block the accession of Hyderabad into India. At the height of the crisis, Razvi had placed his allies in influential posts, and was virtually dictating the Nizam's policy on the issue. Razvi even traveled to Delhi and had a stormy meeting with Indian leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He is quoted to have said "Death with the sword in hand, is always preferable to extinction by a mere stroke of the pen.", prompting the Indian government to call him the "Nizam's Frankenstein monster."

After Operation Polo, Razvi was placed under house arrest and tried under Indian laws on seditious activities and inciting communal violence. He was released in the 1950s, and he later moved to Pakistan.

Now Qasim Razvi spirit entered into KCR body and acting following things

* Similar to Razakars, KCR started Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) militia wing for terrorizing people who are against formation of Telangana

* KCR inciting communal violence in pretext of formation of Telangana

* Whole World calling KCR him as "Telangana Frankenstein monster"

We know how Qasim Razvi story ended, I will leave readers imagination how KCR life will turn into.
