I would replace "Telangana" with "BC, SC and ST's" and replace "Settlers, Andhra and Rayalaseema" with "Velama and Reddy doralu" in these pictures. Being a BC from Telangana I feel that way. We were supressed and humiliated by our own Telanganites (Velama & Reddy).
I don't believe that Telanganites were suppressed by Andhras. Telanganites were suppressed by their own people such as Doras (some Velama and Reddy), Bhooswamulu and some beaurocrats worked in Telangana.
In fact, because of Andhra settlers, Telanganites got benefited. The people who were selling milk on bicycles are now going in Benz cars not knowing what to do with too much cash they have now. Settlers showed how to make barren lands into fertile lands and how to do agriculture, which got them steady income on their lands and their land values appreciated a lot.
Nobody grabbed any land. They bought them at the existing prices. If the prices go high over a period of time, they think that they were cheated since they sold it for less money 10/20 years back.
Most of the Telanganites, while they remained lazy and in-active, have a feeling that people coming from other parts of the country, work their asses off to get settled since they had the burning desire to come up in life, have cheated them by coming up in life.
Telangana people talk about nbr of employees in Secretariat or people at the verge of retirement in good positions now, but they ignore the fact that 30-50 years back .. there were not many educated people in Telangana.
Because of the union of Telangana and Andhra, the losers are Andhrites .. Compare Andhra and Telangana areas before Telangana merged into Andhra .. and now after 50+ years of living together. Andhra was already a developed area .. with no significant development in the last 50 years .. where as Telangana developed so much. No electricity, Not much literacy .. to now they progressed to NRI Telanganas in all the countries in the world who are sponsoring for Separate Telangana.

I don't think that Separate Telangana is for the common man in Telangana .. it is for the political unemployed .. and also for political people who want to fight with less competition by avoiding Andhrites (In fact, no competition for these Velama and Reddy doras in their areas, and nobody to question their powers .. These would be kings again .. )
Today, the world has shrunk so much that we call it a global village and the physical boundaries of the place have no meaning now. Not just educated IT guys moving from one place to another, even people at the level of masons etc move wherever they find jobs.
These leaders talking on their share of jobs is now ridiculous, since anybody can get job anywhere in the world now. You just need to be equipped with the right skills to get the job you want.
People talking that they have separate accent is "Bullshit" since you have accent in every part of the state/country/world. Telugu is spoken differently in Godavari districts (Aaay!), Palnadu area (Vachchindu .. Poyindu .. Vasthadu .. Pothadu), and Krishna areas. Accent brings beauty to the language. There is no superiority or inferiority associated with any accent though few stupid people try to judge them.
What leaders should be talking now .. instead of using provoking words to spoil the atmosphere, is how a common man in Telangana lost by being united with Andhra Vs how he is going to be benefited by being in a separate state.
With equal opportunities to all, I don't see any benefit in separating Andhra and Telangana. The students also should start looking at it in the right perspective. There is no limit for the opportunities for the talented .. no single state/country .. only sky is the limit.
Thinking about Government jobs these days and talking about job reservations .. is only going backwords in 21st century.

The NRI Telanganites should work on improving the literacy and standards of life for their own villages in Telangana instead of funding these politicians or students who have lost right focus, so the students from Telangana also would study well and get settled in any country in the world like we did, not just limiting to govt job in Separate Telangana state.
I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas to share on how a common man is being put to loss now and how he would be benefited by the separate state.
In a combined family, the one with less income is the more benefited person. That is how Telangana, an undeveloped area, got benefited by merging with a developed area like Andhra for 50+ years. Now, the politicians do not want Andhrites anymore in Telangana, after people moved here and made Telangana their permanent home for so many years and contributed for the betterment of the area.
TRS leaders talk on Telanganites working in "Class-4" jobs. Here the issue is "Education". The people who studied well in Telangana are everywhere in the world .. some are in very good positions. Why are they not talking about it? The people who don't study well either in Andhra or Telangana or even in United States of America end up like that. That is why the people from India are in good jobs/positions in US earning very good salaries, while most of the Americans work in low paid jobs/positions with 30-40K per annum.
The political leaders are misleading the people and even the educated Telanganites are encouraging it hoping some future prospects for them in politics in separate Telangana state.
The interests of the common man in Telangana are lost somewhere in this mess created by people with selfish interests. Nobody, including common man is doing any rational thinking now. Everyone is trying to live in the fool's paradise called "Separate Telangana" which the leaders painted colorfully.
Even though the state name changes, we still would have the same politicians who are not sincere in developing anyone but themselves.
Separation is not only difficult consuming lots of money, changing lots of equations in every area, but irreversible too. So let us think of all repercussions before we go for it.

Ya Anonymous brother, the picture should say 1000 words, but on this one all I can think is 'Stupid'... Some sleaze balls doing this are just trying to make good on a situation, nothing is going to change for the common public.
Guys its through integration one can achieve development in any place, it either India or US. Instead of debating whom to blame for the neglect, if we should think about good ideas that would bring progress to the region, that would be a better use of our time and blog. There was an idea from a fellow blogger about that ring rail thing, it may be crazy but we need to debate and make it better them.
Stop the rubbish guys, you don't know the facts. Read below the immediate benefits with Telangana
1. Telangan projects will be funded without Andhra's mercy.
You should know one example of Devadula Project, this project has all the permissions for long but YS govt pushed this to a long term and instead took Pulichintala, Pothireddy padu as high priority where the former is not increasing a single acre in cultivation but for stabilizing Krishna delta and the later do not have any permissions or water allotment.
2. Telangana people will be given priority in employment in the private Industries which are set up with cheap govt lands and all subsidies. Look at industries around Hyd, no place for Telangana people.
I can give many more if you have patience to listen.
I agree upto some extent that Politicians are the main culprits for Telangana backwardness but just like we were uneducated during the formation of AP we were lacking good politicians too. That time either Telangana have Communist leaders or Doralu. Communist leaders do not have vision and all Doraly joined Congress after AP formation. Rich Andhra lobby and educated bureaucrat's took full advantage of the situation and built AP per their vision and for their interest.
The Telangana agetation is out of the Politicians hands and NRI's are only giving the moral support they are not driving the movement.
You need to watch how the movement is going on now? it is run by common man and students.
Let's leave who developed and who is behind Telangana development in the last 50 years. Your worry is losing Hyderabad where you have vested interest. Without Hyd you guys wouldn't spell these samaikya chantings or united Telugu people slogans. Every one knew how much respect Telangana people have in Andhra's mind, you can stop your mind games and blackmailing politics.

Kamma Lobby in full swing. Dam idiots because of these K-lobby we have so many problems like Telangana. This issue was fueled by TV9, Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy. If TV9 did not covered so much about KCR, then T-issue should not have come up. These K-lobby one of the worst lobby, even they do not allow any non Kamma to Tollywood or in any business. There main interest is to how to make a loss or destroy business which are owned by non K-group.
TV9, Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy started giving so much importance to T - movement to give trouble to congress government and central government really believed it is a true movement. After Dec 9 th statement, Kamma media lobby not able to realize what kind of damage they have caused to their own kind.
Because of this reason CBN hiding in house with back pain.

Who the hell she is to dictate terms in Telangana. Kavitha, last I have checked India is a free country and it is not your father's property. It is utter violation of freedom of expression.
If you want to get Telangana use your political office to get it and do not use Taliban methods to terrorize people.
How can they let Adurs release in Telangana unless they get their share of kick backs. This is how some Telangana leaders make money out of the situation. Some Osmania student leaders got money from Gali Janardhana Reddy. Poor people of Telangana and students from Osmania and others are the biggest loosers in the whole episode.
