SANKRANTHI SAMBARALU - Not a Bad show..
Yes .. More than 700 people attended TAMA's Sankranthi sambaralu.. Let's not get over excited over this number .. Here are the few factors that attributed the turnout..
1. It was Saturday afternoon (remember there are no NFL games this Sat)
2. In addition to local talent, Professional artist was performing
3. The venue is in Abids… Sorry I meant Alpharetta…
Anyways.. Let's get back to program.. In all fairness.. It was good show by TAMA Executive committee.. Considering the time they had after election,they must have really worked hard to organize this event..
Quality of programs are not bad (though couple of them could be easily avoided)
Reverse gear (Guruswamy) was funny..
Dinner was alright.. (though few complained about shortage and small servings)
Snack was Ok
Sound system was annoying at times (especially when anchors were there)
Anchoring faltered BIG TIME…(sorry did'nt get their names)
Male anchor did not seem to know what he was talking..
Female anchor was below average at best..
As expected the program did not start on time.. Hence finished very late.. Speeches and felicitations did not help the clock either..
Overall I give 3.5/5 for the Program.. Kudos to the team (espcially volunteers who always get unnoticed) for their hardwork..and hoping for much better show next time..
Tail piece : I have received phone calls day before reminding us of the event .. Which is understandable.. Then to my surprise I received another call thanking for attendance.. which remided be of saying "Athi Vinayam… ".. I am sure you know the rest .. I don’t have to fill up..

Antaa scenu layduu tamuduu. Title should be tussu manaa pawar dhamaka. The show didn't measure up to the hype that was created. Like wise the executives don't seem to measure up.

Honest and objective comments :
Late start - 4.00 p.m. was supposed to be start time. Advertize correct time.
No reason to seat the people on stage, they could have just come for lighting the stage. Promote all religions or be secular.
MCs, particularly male, are not impressive.
Some programs are average.
Guruswamy was entertaining.
Legacy artists took a back seat.
Pizza should have been provided to the kids who don't eat spicy food. Otherwise, food was good.
Need a bigger facility for Ugadi.
EC teamed looked united and energetic.
Conspicuous by their absence - past President, VP, Ballot chor and HSS pramukh - who were behind last year's mess.
Overall grade b+
I saw past President, he must have left early.
Before expecting any past committee you should ask why the K gang banned TAMA for whole 2009? They must learn to take results sportively.
Because of the 30 votes unilateral invalidation by Nominating committee chair (ballot stealer)changed the results. Injustice can't be taken sportively.
Fortunately, court case prevented it happening again !!

Cut the crap man. We would have take it sportively if they are just results. They are twisted restults by Syham. We will take revenge on him for sure. Wait and see.
"K" gang don't have any sportiveness. Because of stupid tradition all idiotic committee's following for the past several years incorrect nomination form was circulated in the email causing Court to intervene and reopen the memberships, which Madhu's panel used brilliantly with the help of Chand&Co and submitted 250+ dummy memberships (i.e. no signatures, no emails, no phone no on the forms). This has turned the tables because most of the new memberships are for "K" families and youth who took it as a challenge to gather voters on the election day.
Drunk and Dumb "R" gang didn't take it serious and stayed home on the election day.
There are few other "Jump Zilani's" in the "R" gang who smartly acted as spy's for "K" gang and new "Atlanta KCR"
We the dedicated volunteers of "R" gang has to face humiliation because of incompetent "R" leadership.
Latest news : Shyam Deyyamraju is ready to destroy HTA. It seems he became a Trustee recently.
God save HTA !!
Next HTA elections will be messy surely !!

GM may be hardworking but at the end of the day he has lot of problems like drinking, shouting in the public etc. Veedini TAMA loki Bala teesukochhadu. Deenni batti you can judge what kind of personality Bala has. For all these problems in TAMA, we should blame him. He is a selfish and narrow minded person. He always feels threatened if someone is active in the community. So he will start attacking them with all his tacticts. Veedini Atlant nunchi tarimeyaali (Cingular vaalla laaga) so that we can stay united and live in peace. What do you think guys?

You can write about what happened in 2006. We are ready to read even in 2010 because all the things that happened in 2006 lead to TAMA to this stage. So please write your opinions about 2006 & 2009.
