An Update
Since "Sudigundaalu 1" there have been quite a few developments at the temple. We would like to bring to you some of the points which are relevant to the situation.
What is more important? Gold or Sentiment? - It has come to light that all the Jewelery and ornaments that were put at the base of Baba's statue before it's installation, the overwhelming emotion among the devotees being that these will remain forever under Baba's statue, were removed that very day and deposited into a bank. The only parties privy to this transaction were the then President and the then Treasurer. The explanation goes that the pujari removed the gold and tied it into a bundle and the bundle was then deposited into the bank. Now for people who did part with their jewelery willingly the gold itself may not be of much importance but what of the sentiment attached with the act. Here were devotees who put the gold under the impression that it will remain under Baba's feet forever and here is news that it did not even remain for a short period of time. There may be extenuating circumstances why this may have been done. But don't the parties to this transaction owe a responsibility to the devotees? To let them know what transpired? The level of ego and recklessness is amazing. Apparently none of the EC knew about this till recently.
Politics takes it's toll, Good and Shady alike - It looks like there have been a spate of resignations among the executive committee and the other committees in the temple. A member of the Constitution committee, a level headed and balanced gentleman resigned and there is no news as to why he resigned. The entire Treasury department resigned, hot on the heels of the audit. What is going on? The politics of the temple seem to have taken sacrifice both the good and the shady members of the committee.
Unkept promises? - Then there is the issue of promises made to the devotees by the EC to collect donations. What is the delay in taking care of these promises? The leaf program, the constrution plaque program etc etc. Why promise if you cannot deliver? What galls everyone is the lack of communication to anyone as to what is going on with these programs.
Even Baba is unaccessible nowadays - The fact of the matter is that God is in one's mind and not in any statue anywhere. However we are humans and as such tend to visualize God to give us the feeling of comfort and the feeling of a personal God. So what is this practice of not touching Baba? Even in Shirdi one is allowed to touch Baba's feet. It looks like our Secular Baba wants to be more like an Orthodox Baba after his newly acquired wealth. He was so accessible in the small house which is akin to Dwarakamayi. Of course it is not really Baba's deeds but those of his devotees in his name. We wish that Baba's captors release him to the general public, whom he longs to be with.
One bright spot in all of this of course is the spirit of volunteerism that pervades the temple. Good and bad alike come together to do service, whatever their motives may be. It is not the EC or the Board of Trustees that are to be commended but the volunteers themselves. The volunteers who commit their time to cook and distribute food. The volunteers who brave rain or hail, snow or sleet to regulate parking, the volunteers who prepare the temple for special occasion. We doff our hats to them. There is hope for all of us indeed.

The details of gold came out only after the article was published in Rachabanda. It was in March this year and the ex pres and treasurer came up with a story for cover up.
It is surprising that only few members in the past EC new about it and they maintained it as a secret until it became public.
What a disgrace and all in the name of Baba and devotion.
The article is correct.The temple is operating by sincere volunteers not with the EC'S nor the Coordinators.
During vigrahapratisthapana the devottees have offered more gold than expected and in the mid night the silpis have said that they have to remove the excess gold to level the platform.So they tied all the excess gold in a safforn cloth which was mixed with mud. Only few people who were present that night were witness to the process.
2.Gold was sent to India for cleaning later.
It would have been good if the witnesses atleast have informed all the EC members in their next scheduled meeting.
Dont think there is any foul play as the witnesses come from good background,financially strong and god fearing.
The past EC and the co-ordinators did a good job overall inspite of lapses here and there which sometimes were done unknowingly and sometimes were committed because of their possessiveness of the temple for which they are going through this abuse through blogs.
Even till today no one knows how much gold is in "their" home and how much gold is in temple possession (means whose possession), or how much gold is in India? Where in India? Then president's relatives home?
Audit committee do not know any where abouts of it????????? It looks like only past president and past treasurer and present treasurer and present president knows.

This is some thing people should realize that this blog just to promote the cast politics and dethrone the ECs. This is the last place that this particulas group wanted to take over. What Gowtham said is correct.I observed that he is one who tried hard to establish our R gang kingdom but invain.He is our main key member behind the back and we should support him this year also he is much better in organisation skills when compared to Karuna.But the only concern i have is,Are gowtham capabilities enough to tackle the K gang stratagies.We have to keep in mind that they are united and have better stratagies and got the results.I think we have to send gowtham to some stratagy classes this year and also let him know that he has lot to learn.Cheer by gowtham we are behind you.

Fistly you cannot compare Shirdi Temple to NASSTA. There are many temples of BABA where you are allowed to touch his feet and his statue.It is only here the stupid EC decides the rules and be Dadaas.
The resignation of the TREASURER AND ASSOCIATE TREASURER is the golmaal that has happened in the temple.The Audit COM has not been given access to audit and delays are made in every step.
The fund raising plans to raise money for the temple or for their business,this lady Dr.shymala and her husband are the next power hungry clouts.
The President needs to step down as he does business with the temple.They are not devotees but making money out of the temple.
A legality run needs to be done to the temple

Does anyone know about the details of the ATA Lawsuit? I heard that there are lot of issues within ATA and it is about to split into two organizations. So what happened in TANA is about to happen in ATA. I think there is friction between Telangana R gang and Nellore R gang from the beginning.
Yes. There is a lawsuit on ATA by some of the trustees and board of directors. Don't know much about it but because of this lawsuit they are spending lot of membership’s money. Now they ran out of all the money they have and now they are not in a position to do the Houston conference in July.

I got this information from ATA website.
As per ATA constitution and Bylaws the first regular meeting of the new Board of Trustees was held on January 24, 2009 by President Jithender Reddy to elect President-Elect, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, and Joint Treasurer along with the appointment of regional and other coordinators and standing committee chairs as well as appointment of Convener and Coordinator for the 11th ATA conference in Houston (Shown below). Subsequently, ATA President Jithender Reddy called a “special board meeting” on May 2, 2009” to discuss and resolve the “so-called issues” from the last board meeting held on January 24, 2009. Some of the actions taken at this meeting were not according to ATA constitution and Bylaws including motion to reverse the outcome of some executive committee election results along with appointment of coordinators and ATA 2010 Conference leadership. As a result of these actions, some of the ATA trustees, coordinators and standing committee chairs and ATA members sought legal help to stop all the proceedings of May 2, 2009 board meeting including any new appointments. The court issued a temporary restriction order which states that the executive committee and all other committees and appointments which were approved on January 24th, 2009 will continue to govern ATA activities until further order. I will keep you posted of any further developments.

There are sevaral issues other than these 40 votes like counting fraud, ect. We will not leave this Dayyamraju alone. Wait and see.
Temple President was not that bad. May be may people came forward with donations and voluntary work to build baba temple. After all we got baba temple during her period so we need to give her some credit. The main issue happened with family members especially the involvement of her sister and husband. Any non profit institution will florish if they keep family members away. Because 2 people did the mistake and she is also part of the blame game.

Last week I went to temple. everyone was happy because sisters are not involving that much. Main discussion is why Ravi (spouse of one of the sisters) involved in temple elections? why he called all trustees not to vote valli. this is not at all fair. These people have enjoyed their term with 4 positions in the family but still their appetite is not completed. They don't want anyone to get into the Temple.
I think that is the reason gotam gadu always talks rubbish about Ravi at cricket. When he sees them he says mamaiah. that dumb mama never understands baanja ka damaka!!

In temple everyone was happy because sisters were not involving that much.But discussion is now Amar & Ravi (spouses of the sisters)are involved in temple elections? They called all trustees not to vote for the other team.These people have enjoyed their term with lies and corruption to the temple and the devotees families but still their appetite is not complete. They don't want anyone to get into the Temple. Gowtham is an immatured idiot who knows no politics and is barking unnecessarily has got into the temple as their body guard. 2008 Temple President was awefully bad,people did not realize because of her being a female many people came forward with donations and voluntary work to build baba temple,little did they realize her corrupted mind.We got baba temple during her period not because of her but because of many others who did most of the ground work and got approvals done, when everything looked rosy she with other crooks wanted to take credit and threw the geniune coordinators out of positions and no trustee questioned her behaviour because they all were a part of the plot with her.Do you need to give her credit or to those that were behind doing the job. The main issue happens when family members involve. Now we have the same issue with Parmesh,his wife,Bala(his brother) and his wife. Any non profit institution will flourish if they keep family members away.
