ఖోరం కోరమా?

Looks like the much anticipated meeting to make changes to the by-laws did not succeed.
Does this mean people do not care about the welfare of the organization or just interested
in having fun and not being responsible. Although we cannot the blame the people for not
showing any interest after what has been going on in the past couple of years, there should
have been more active participation to voice their opinion. It is heard that more than two
hundred people showed up but that was not enough to achieve the quorum. What is interesting
is the fact that you could not see anybody from the team that lost the elections last year.
It is not sure if they do not want these changes to succeed or they do not like it at all.
Coming to the meeting itself, it looked more like a one man show. Although it seemed
like lot of effort was put into the process, the message did not seem to reach the general
audience. Even the vantala poti did not bring any enthusiasts. At least one item to mention
is they did not approve the changes without the required quorum. That would have been another long drawn out battle in the courts. Also the so called "community elders" who would seek all the glory and no responsibility did not seem to care about the happenings. You would think they would be standing up there and talking about the pros and cons of doing things like
this.

Major points of discussion seem to be :
Life Member Fee reduction.
Impact on Fundraising.
Eligibility to become part of EC.
Concept of a Board becoming another power center.
Responsibilities and constitution of the board.

Go through the document on the website and voice your support or concerns.

And we leave you with this thought from Dr.Seuss...
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

All this split in the community is due to two people in the last year EC and every body knows these two people other wise we would not have elections and this situation. We want all the Telugu people to be united irrespective of caste, regional feelings.Just think how good the feeling will be if we are united. Please stop blaming games and try to see if there is a way to sit down and talk how to acheive this and leaders and king makers from both sides should respond positively and work towards that and gain the respect of all the common people.

Please stop critisizing fashion show.We all know that it is a success.Ladies put a lot of effort into this. They spend time to come up with good costumes and appearance.Don't pull this one into politics and please give credit to our beloved participants.Irrespective of all the politics we have to agree that it is a grand success and infact the ladies are planning this one for past 2 years and did not materialise and this year EC are lucky to have this in their kitty.

I heard that GM worked hard for pallekupodam and other ocassions in the last year EC Term. But his arrogance and other side of the face is the reason for him to distance from the people. If he calms down and live with his normal face he can gell with all the people. It is high time that he realises that he is the reason for this situation in the community for elections and the split. He deserves the credit that he worked well and spent time for TAMA last year no doubt about that.

Stop guys. Blaming anyone (including gm) wouldn't solve anything. Also, gm needs to slowdown and stop being rude. If Karunakar takes lead and be firm with all, then this side has good chances. Otherwise, no need
to even try. whoever wins, both sides have to sit together and iron out lot of differences to give the community at large something to cheer about. Cheers

R gang is split in different ways. no one likes anyone. Karun Bala Girish TSR Gautham Guruva Singareddy Ravi Allala Venkat Reddy Segireddy Kesireddy Kotlur etc don't like each other. Unless they all come together, they don't have a chance.

Honestly it is very difficult to win against the present group as they have lot of unity and also they have lot of stratagists and king makers whose names are not even known to our team such good their tactics and strength are and also they have lot of money clout.I don't think Karunakar etc can do any thing(Infact he is -ve to our group). One more thing Karunakar is over rated he cannot pull any thing out.Unless we induce new blood and make these old guys like karunakar retire and take a back seat then we can do something until then relax have a charminar.

I agree with the above. Fashion show is a copy cat show.

Absolutely zero novelty or creative spirit in the show design or concept.

The current EC doesn't deserve any credit for this. On the other hand, previous EC came up with novel ideas.

Last year K'S fought with each other and conducted 3 large scale events for the community. TANA and CTA in Chicago and NATS in Orlando.
This year R'S fought with each other and could not even host their regular ATA in Houston.
Community knows who has the power and dedication
Conducting events is not like grabbing mines.

K gang split into 2 directions - nats and tana.
Already lavayya played enough character roles by supporting chaand and tatayya. may it is time for him to take lead role this time for nats. otherwise nats will end up as subset of tana.

tatayya, purnayya, ramesh cheppulorai, will go with tana
lavayya, surapaneyya, mallayya, chaandayya, mangayya will go with nats

r gang split into 2 directions - ata and ? (name not published yet)

karunakar, T satti, kondayya will go with ata.
yellamayya, gotam, venayya will go with unknown or unpublished one.

It seems by end of this year there will be 4 telugu associations at the nation level.

OUR COMMUNITY THINKING IS SO NAIVE. THEY DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF LEADER. THEY ARE SIMPLY USING THAT WORD FOR ANYONE THEY WANT TO PICK. OTHEWISE WHO WILL USE LEADER FOR THESE GUYS WHO ALWAYS FIGHT WHEN THERE IS A CHANCE.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN R GANG AND K HANG.

CHANDAYYA SAID, HE IS NOT LIKE R GANG. AFTER THE ELECTIONS HE WILL STAY OUT OF TAMA. HE IS THERE ONLY TO FIX BYLAWS. BUT WHY HE IS DOING ALL THE WORK FOR TATAYYA. CAN'T TATAYYA DO ANY SIMPLE TASK? SATTAYYA MAY HAVE BROKE THE BYLAWS BUT DID HARD WORK WITH THE HELP OF GIRSH. EVERYONE KNOWS KONDAYYA, GOLLIYYA AND KARNAYYA WERE BEHIND AND USED REMOTES TO CONTROL SATTAYA. SIMILARLY CHAAND IS CONTROLLING TATAYYA THIS YEAR. WHY OTHERS WASTING THEIR TIME.

MADHU IS NOT BRAKING ANY LAWS AND NOT DOING ANY WORK.

WINNING TAMA IS NOT ABOUT ANY GANG STRENGTH. IT IS ABOUT HOW MANY MEMBERS YOU CAN GET. IF YOU GUYS THINK THIS VICTORY BRINGS CREDIT TO R GANG LAST YEAR AND K GANG THIS YEAR THEN YOU ALL MISTAKEN.

Present EC has already played their cards correctly and talk of the town is that they gathered the support of other communities which they lacked in 2009 even though they won.Now with these additions they will be very difficult to beat.Good thing about this team is that they did not have any traiters like our R gang and they did not loose any key people to the opposite team and they are additions to the team on ongoing basis.Hats off to their unity and tactics. We the R gang must learn from them and there is nothing to be shamed off as we can become stronger in coming years by adopting their stratagies. So for now it is good to watch, wait and see.

Anonymous said...

Bala is keeping distance from the R gang. Finally he realised that R gang too did not beleive him and at the end he landed in soup and no where. So he is adopting the right stratagy of being away, any way he knows that our R gang will not entertain him as he plays double games and is evident from recent happenings. So Bala take rest and relax.Your stratagies are out dated.

SAMBAYYA SAYS

LAST YEAR GRISH, SATTI AND ANANDU HAD A TRIANGULAR FIGHT YEAR LONG. COMMUNITY GOT FEDUP WITH ALL 3 OF THEM. NO ONE IN THE COMMUNITY WANTS THESE 3 STOOGES. OF COURSE ONE IS LUCKY THAT HE DID NOT CONTEST AGAIN LIKE SRIDEV.

THOUGH TATAYYA GROUP GOT 500 MORE VOTES THEY COULD NOT BAILOUT ANANDU. K GANG ALSO HAS NO FEELINGS FOR ANANDU. HOWEVER ANANDU WAS LIKE A CATALYST FOR CHAAND TO TAKE REVENGE ON SATTI. HE IS NOT SCREAMING ON ANYONE FOR THE LOSS. AT LEAST HE SHOWS SOME DIGNITY. GRISH AND SATTIS HAVE TO LEARN FROM ANANDU.

WINNING TAMA ELECTIONS DEPENDS ON HOW MANY ANNUAL MEMBERS YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE. ONE CAN INFLUENCE CLOSE FRIENDS AND LIFE MEMBERS. IT WON'T WORK WITH ANNUAL MEMBERS. ANNUAL MEMBERS DON'T EVEN KNOW WHOM THEY ARE VOTING? THEY JUST COME TO ELECTIONS WITH A FLYER AND CASTE THEIR VOTE. FOR THIS NO ONE SHOULD RAISE COLOR FOR VISTORY AND NO ONE SHOULD REGRET FOR DEFEAT. THOTTIGANG LED BY KONDAYYA, GOLLIYYA, KARNAYYA, KODI COULD NOT MANAGE TO GET ENOUGH ANNUAL MEMBERS TO BEAT OTHERS. ALSO, THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC BEHIND THE NUMBER GAME. THERE IS NO NEED TO WAIT FOR ELECTION RESULTS WHEN YOU DON'T REGISTER ENOUGH ANNUAL MEMBERS. IT IS REGRET FOR OTHER SIDE NOT ABLE TO GET VOTES FOR ANANDU AND SRIDEVI IN SPITE OF REGISTERING MASSIVE ANNUAL MEMBERS.

ONE THING WE HAVE TO APPRECIATE FROM TATAYYA/CHANDU/LAVAYYA GROUP IS THEY ARE NOT REGRETTING THE LOSS OF 2 POSITIONS. THEY ARE THINKING OF MORE ANNUAL MEMBERS AND BETTER CANDIDATES FOR NEXT ELECTIONS. THAT IS THE STRATEGY FROM WISE MAN.

WHERE AS SATTIGADU AND GIRSH DON'T HAVE THAT MUCH REALIZATION. IF THEY MAINTAIN SILENCE LIKE ANANDU THEY WIN THE ELECTION AT SOME POINT IN FUTURE. OTHERWISE THEY WILL NEVER WIN THE ELECTIONS. THEY HAD SOME SYMPATHY AFTER THE ELECTIONS BUT NO ONE CARES THEM BECAUSE THEY CAN'T KEEP MOUTH SHUT.

FUNNY PART IS SATTI CAN'T DARE TO CHALLENGE CHAND. HE IS SCARED TO SAY ANYTHING AS ANONYMOUS USER TOO? TO VENT OUT HIS PAIN HE IS PICKING OTHERS. GEORGIA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS 12% SO WE SHOULD HAVE MORE PEOPLE WHO CAN SPEND TIME HERE.

COMMUNITY: BE KIND TO UNKIND PEOPLE LIKE GRISH AND SATTI. THEY NEED IT MOST.

ANYWAY IT IS ENOUGH FOR TATAYYA AND TIME FOR SOMEONE FROM NATS TO TAKE OVER.

Anonymous said...

We decided to stay away with LAVAYYA to support TATAYYA. Now We may take U turn to support LAVAYYA to go against GIRISHAM AND TINGARODU. we fed upwith those guys and came out of NOMINATING COMMITTEE. They don't have brains.

Everyone know how much chand involving with current TAMA. Community knows about him. If he is the leader then he would have ignored Satyanarayana Reddy and moved forward. He put all effort to defame last year team. He did not put 10% of that effort when he was TAMA president. Syam took the control of IACA and Chand has no place to go then he is involving with TAMA. Don't need to use blogs to get the name and fame. If you guys are great leaders then you don't need blogs. Your work speaks about your leadership.

Answer to the above:
Dear Potato,
Poit1: I am not sure if you have a Sankar Narayan's English dictionary,I never said Chand does not have involvement with the current Team,Just said that he does not have Interference there is difference in meaning for the two.We have team of volunteers ready all the time to give a helping hand to TAMA when ever needed rather than wasting time writing blogs like you to defame people

Point2:Also Whether Chand is Leader or not is not the topic here,You are trying to rub your opinion that Madhu is being remote controlled like last year(TSR being remore controlled) and also trying to defame him inspite of his hard work which I was denying as We know the work that Madhu and present EC is putting and we are sure because we are observing them from close quarters and not shooting opinions in air like you.

Point3:We don't care if Syam took the control of IACA or your brain.

Point 4:We don't need blogs to get name and fame,If we deserve them we will get them automatically so we don't need your advise on this.

Point 5:We never acclaimed that we are great leaders but simply beleive that we have to do what is good for the Telugu community and not to have personal agendas, egos and arrogance and instead be modest and humble.

Poit 6: I agree that the work present EC have done under Madu will speak about his leader ship and his hard work will pay off and everybody knows the promises that he did are fulfilled like(posting financials on the web, posting meeting mts on the web,Trying to unite people(huge turn outs for the programs depicts this) and so on..(Term did not end)

Point 7:If you still want to muddle on the work that Madhu or present EC is doing you are welcome as you will remain like a potato and after some days will be rotten. So be positive and critisize objectively and we are open for contructive criticism.

Dear TAMA EC, We are planning to observe YSR Vardhanthi in the long weekend (probably on Sept 6th lunch) depending on some logistics involving YS Vivekananda Reddy gaaru. It came to my notice that TAMA wants to schedule Pallebata program in the same weekend. I would request you to consider moving Pallebata to another weekend, to avoid clashing with Vardhanthi and giving TAMA members choice of attending both the events. Please call me on 678 886 9933, should you need to reach me. Thanks, Gurava Reddy

Pallebaata means, you end up in Pavuraala gutta where as Pallekupodaam means, you will have some fun filled event.

Subject: Helping hands : Difference between LIFE and DEATH

What you are about to read is a real life experience which happened this week (week of 8th August 2010) and this could save any of your or your loved ones life.

Our objective is to create awareness and also for the stone hearted, supposedly knowledgeable people to have a realization that there is nothing more precious than saving a life.

These are experiences family had in 2 places, what many of us believe are holy, where most of us go to pray to almighty to give us long life and health. First one at THE GANESHA Temple in Nashville, TN (http://www.ganeshatemple.org/ ) and the second at Hindu Temple of Atlanta (Georgia) (www.hindutempleofatlanta.org). This is the story of Mr. Mallappagari

Mr. Mallappagari and spouse, like many of our parents came to Atlanta to be with his son’s family. Few months on their arrival the family was blessed with a new born, a grandson who is absolutely gorgeous and cutie pie with whom you would want to be all the time. The happiness for Mr. Mallappagari multiplied exponentially with the grandson playing with him more, weather turning into spring, summer and having a friendly and caring neighborhood bustling with more outdoor activities.

Though having delicate health in elderly age (72yrs), being a staunch believer in God one of Mr. Mallappagari’s favorite hobbies was to visit temples. Around April the family went to Ganesha temple at Nashville, TN. As they walked up the long stairs of the temple Mr. Mallappagari got exhausted and fainted in the main temple. Being a sugar patient it was very essential for him to be taken care of immediately, every minute and second counts in making the difference between life and death. Temple authorities screamed for help and in less than couple minutes the priests were there and couple of devotees gathered around. They quickly carried Mr. Mallappagari, put him down in the main temple floor and cried out for doctors help while another devotee already called in 911. A doctor who was volunteering in the temple took control of the situation and performed CPR while his son started taking of getting him basic nutrition and sugar. Temple was already prepared with all the emergency doors open for a quick and smooth access for 911 crew. By the time emergency crews arrived and took Mr. Mallappagari into position he was saved from a critical condition. It is these outstanding acts and gestures of those good people that contributed significantly in savings Mr. Mallappagari’s life.

While the above was fortunate incident Mr. Mallappagari’s life was destined to have a different turn when he went to the Hindu Temple of Atlanta, GA. After his prayers in main temple Mr. Mallappagari went to the Shiva temple where he along with family performed Rudraksha pooja. He completed the ritual religiously post which he had to use the rest rooms. It was one those hot and humid days where the temperatures were over 90 F and sun was blazing. Slowly Mr. Mallappagari made his way to the rest room and by the time he reached there he was very exhausted. With hardly much energy left he barely managed his restroom visit and told his son he was feeling very tired. His son quickly ran out, grabbed a chair and made Mr. Mallappagari sit right at the entrance of the restrooms. As he made his dad sit in the chair he could feel his dad’s hands were getting cold, which is a sign his sugar level were dropping down drastically and quite unusual with the very hot weather outside. His son screamed for help, asked his sister to run and get some sugar. His sister hustled to gather sugar and in the mean while one of priests in the kitchen came out hearing these screams. Sad that he did not offer to share sugar which would be right next to them in the kitchen, how hard is it to give a couple of tea spoons of sugar??. Mr. Mallappagari’s son pleaded for help to get his dad on the floor so that it aid increased blood flow to the brain which is critical and asked to get a 911 call. The responses of the 6 gathered priests, who are supposed to bless us with long life and representatives of God were shocking. Mr. Mallappagari was asked to be taken out of the temple premises and they refused to place the 911 call nor help his son by talking to the emergency crew. How fair is it for somebody to refuse a 911 call when a person is battling life and talk to 911 crews so that they can reach faster?. The distress does not stop there, they forced his son to take Mr. Mallappagari outside the temple, with his son holding his legs and the priests holding the “handles of the chair” in which Mr. Mallappagari was sitting, refusing to touch him. How can anybody do these un civilized acts to somebody of father’s age?. Then the priests suggest Mr. Mallappagari’s son to get his own vehicle and they are ready to get Mr. Mallappagari into the vehicle so that he could quickly leave the temple premises and go to the hospital. Poor son ran towards his car but heard the emergency siren’s and rushed back to his dad. His dad was lying on the concrete floor struggling to stay alive, the floor was so hot that people could not stand with bare feet.. but an old 72yrs dying man was made to lie down there in the scorching heat on hot floor where he was attempting helplessly to toss and turn unable to bear the hot floor. How can anybody do these barbarian acts of making a sick elderly person battling death lie down on a scorching floor? His son realized that the sirens not coming towards his Dad and then placed another 911 call from his cell phone. By the time medics arrived to the temple and picked up Mr. Mallappagari he had no heart beat, no pulse and no blood pressure. This whole process of Mr. Mallappagari coming out from restroom till the point the medics attended to him was at least 30min and that could potentially could have made the difference between his life or death.

The medics and doctors later battled with all their capabilities till early hours of Tuesday. Mr. Mallappagari 72yrs of age who was teacher by profession, who shaped many carriers and shared unconditional love was pronounced dead this Tuesday. Sunday (15th Aug 2010) he was supposed to travel back to India, but his son now is carrying his remains. Mr. Mallappagari is survived by 4 kids and beloved wife.

While death is something most cannot change, as human beings the least we can do is to offer help to somebody in need. While can’t say certainly but more helping hands from temple priests in a timely manner probably could have made the difference.. difference between LIFE and DEATH.. prevented irrecoverable loss and grief to son’s and daughters who are dazed with this demise, a inconsolable wife who needs his life partner ever than before and for all those well wishers whose life these humble human being made an impact on.

Our sincere appeal to the readers is: PLEASE HELP, EVERY SINGLE ACT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, CASTE, CREED, RELIGION etc., have no significance when the choice of actions Vs hypocrite in-action can save a life. We hope the management at the temple will review the despicable act and make necessary amends in making the worship a place where devotees will look up to pray and learn good human values.

Please pass it on to friends and family who u think can benefit from this experience

It is with heavy heart and deep sorrow that we received the news of Mr. Mr. Mallappagari‘s demise and we sincerely pray to God to rest his soul in peace. However the email you received does not reflect a true picture of the events happened on that fateful evening at HTA premises. It is very normal for the beloved family members of the deceased to feel that some one could have done more to save his life and in the process may not remember the incidents as they happened.

On behalf of the HTA, please permit me to present you the facts the way they happened. On that fateful evening at about 7.30 PM a young lady came to our Chief Priest who was with other priests discussing about next day temple rituals and asked him to get some sugar as her father was having a medical problem. The priests rushed to the kitchen in the downstairs of the premises and did provide sugar to the person who was already fainted and was seated in a chair. In response to a phone call made, the ambulance did arrive and rushed the patient to the hospital. During this time one of our Priests even tried to nurse the patient rubbing his body to bring the body to normal warmth. Our temple Manager took the wife of Mr., Mr. Mallappagari, who was distraught, to his apartment and tried to calm her. On the next morning our temple Manager Mr. Narasimhan made a follow up call to the family to enquire about his health but was told Mr. Mallappagari passed away in the early hours of the morning.

It is not fair to say that the HTA doesn’t care about lives. In the past, there were incidences where we had devotees fainted with heart trouble, diabetes or some thing else were taken care of by our trustees who are medical doctors and few cardiologists among them and performed CPR while waiting for the Ambulance. At our HTA our first priority is to serve humanity irrespective of caste, creed, ethnicity or religion. We have several MDs on our Board of Trustees who saved lives on the premises and off the premises of HTA.

HTA strongly believes in Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of ‘To serve humanity is to serve the God’ (Manava seva ye Madhava Seva) and HTA's financial contributions made to the victims of floods and other natural calamities is well known to our community.

Our heart bleeds for the beloved members of Mr. Mr. Mallappagari and we would do every thing possible to console them and bring peace to their hearts. Till now, no one from the family contacted any of us and we regret the email being circulated.

On behalf of the HTA, I sincerely request you, please hold your judgment till you learn the complete facts and not to circulate the email that you received from the surviving members of the grieving family.

On a personal note, very recently, on August 2, 2010, I lost my best friend Mr. G.S.Reddy, aged 71 years, at Global Mall, Norcross, in similar circumstances. As hard as the thought he is no more, I and his family accepted it as God’s will.

I sincerely request the members of the family to contact me or the President of HTA, (email. hymavatimikkilineni@yahoo.com), so that we could do every thing possible to console the family and join in their prayers.

With Sincere Prayers

Dear Narender G Reddy,

Thank you very much taking time to respond to my email. However, I am very disappointed at the generic nature of your response. You do not even seem to be ready to acknowledge the facts and look into the lapses that have occurred on the fateful day of 9th August.

Before I get into the specifics, I would like to clarify upfront that it is not my intension to generate noise or negativity against HTA or any particular individual. I have great respect for all the doctors and other community leaders associated with HTA. I am thankful to them for providing us the place of worship, religious and priestly services to the community in this adopted homeland.

I sent the email with the intension of bringing the facts before the HTA Board of Trustees and other community members to raise awareness about what happened to my father on Aug 9th, with the hope of avoiding re occurrence of such unfortunate events in the future. The attitude and behavior of the priests, especially the senior priest, on that fateful day was completely insensitive and inhumane, to say the least.

That said, I would like to give the facts from my side and leave it to you all to make your own conclusions.

>> email you received does not reflect a true picture of the events happened on that fateful evening
>> permit me to present you the facts the way they happened

I am not sure how you could say that you have got the facts/true picture without even speaking to me or any one associated with me.

>> priests rushed to the kitchen in the downstairs of the premises and did provide sugar to the person

This is not true. My sister asked priests for sugar and at the same time, ran to my car and got the sugar. Priests did not provide us the sugar. They came and decided to move him outside and started engaging additional priests.

>> In response to a phone call made, the ambulance did arrive and rushed the patient to the hospital.

Did you enquire on who placed the phone call and how much time it took to place that call? I pleaded with the priests to place the call as I kept my cell in the car which is parked other side of the temple (Siva temple side). Senior priest came up with unbelievable excuse ‘temple rules do not permit them to place the call!!). His words in Telugu “memu phone chayakudadndi. Ma rules oppukovu. Mee phone thechukoni cheyandi. mee car ekkadiki teesuka vaste manam carloki tesuka vellavachhu”. At that time, I had no option but to leave my father in a fainted condition there and run to my car to get the phone and place the call. The 911 operator did not know where Hindu temple is and I had to struggle again to find the physical address of the temple, had to request few times the priests to help with that as well. Had the call been placed by temple priests, it would have saved at least 15 minutes of time. If in doubt, please get the 911 call records and find it out for yourself. It took us 30 minutes to get my father into ambulence.

>> one of our Priests even tried to nurse the patient rubbing his body to bring the body to normal warmth
Main priest told me take my father immediately out of temple premises and refused to touch him to carry outside, let alone rubbing his body. They lifted him by chair without touching his body. I had to hold his legs and they were holding 2 "chair hands".

>> our temple Manager Mr. Narasimhan made a follow up call to the family to enquire about his health
Temple manager did not call us. One of my friend called temple to engage a priest for funeral services and left a voice message. They returned our call one and half hours later. Please go through the temple phone call records and verify it for yourself.

>> We have several MDs on our Board of Trustees who saved lives

I don’t believe I said anything or questioned HTA’s dedication to serve the community. As I mentioned in the beginning, I have great respect for all of them for their dedication and service. What I am questioning is the attitude of the priests and the way they behaved on that particular day. I could not help, but compare it to kind of help I received at Nashville temple three months back when my father had his first stroke.

>> Till now, no one from the family contacted any of us and we regret the email being circulated

I sent this email an hour before leaving to India with my mother and family on Sunday. I just landed and am taking time to respond to these communications as I believe there are areas of improvement and a need for awareness. My earnest intent as stated was bring these details to honorable executives/Board of Trustees to take proactive steps towards betterment and prevention of such reoccurrences in the future.

While we are consoling our families with the fact that my father, a devout Shiv bhakth, spent his last hours preying to Lord Shiva, I would reiterate our intent: create awareness across and help better things for all of us.

I am traveling to my village and will not have access to mails from there and hence may not be able correspond further till I return back. In the meanwhile I urge the temple authorities to do an independent fact finding exercise which on my return I can produce if that is what will aid this cause.

Sincerely,
Reddy Mallappagari

Dear Mr. Reddy,

Thank you so much for replying to my email despite your busy schedule in India.
My initial response was not to contradict any thing you stated about the incident but only the
result of my preliminary enquiry with Priests and Manager of HTA.
Thank you so much for your advise to the Board to be proactive and we definitely intend to
do the same. I'm confident with your cooperation, upon your return, we can get to the bottom
of circumstances leading to the tragic event.
Pl. contact me or Hymavathi Mikkilineni, President, HTA upon your return and we will be ready
to meet with you at your convenience.

Sincerely,
Narender G Reddy
Secretary, HTA

Mallappagari neevu chevitodi mundu sankham ooduthunnaavu. Every Indian in Atlanta know about Narender and his low value public life. Hopefully things will change despite the most dagaakor stewardship in the temple as well as Tama. Sorry for your father's death but then again he died in his favorite place. His soul will RIP.

FYI, most of the devotees who visit Atlanta temples feel that - the trustees/committee members show-off a lot as if it is their permanent Palace/Haveli that they own themselves and need to take care of :-). Do spending more time and/or volunteeering at the temple mean it is their Ghar/Mandir!!! People feel it as their Lord's temple, that came into reality with all the devotees contributions, however small they are, isn't it! Unfortunately our fortuante trustees/priests in our ATL mandirs seem to think and behave otherwise. Firstly, they try their hands at various associations - wherein power house and positions are temporary (1-2yrs)and then they look towards fresh mandir proposals with an eye on permament power house options :)...And some have their own aganda along with their own business interests - in the disguise of swami seva , or should we call it 'swayam seva' :-).Any ways, lucky folks who are beyond 'struggle for survival', and those who could focus on other time-pass stuff that come along the way with power & recognition, they seem to enjoy more than dedicated devotion... And we've that famous quote 'maanava seve madhava seva'. Doesn't it sound strange for ATL folks!

"people like aluwal are much interested in business.

Now the talk of the town is he resigned from the Tama team. This is not published in TAMA website yet.

Now the opposition team is trying to bring it up in the GBM and make a fuss out of it.

what a pity. Tatayya promised a lot and deliverd very less.
People like him are very shame to the society.
