Hi,
Please answer the following questions if you want anyone to really take interest in your organization.
1) Why the sudden ineterst in "fixing" things? I have never seen you in TAMA. Basically you just want to break up an organization without even trying to fix "something that is wrong" with that organization.
2) Where were you in 2008 when hard working EC members were denied an opportunity to work in the next EC?
3) Why did you not take up a position in 2010 E.C. if you wanted to fix things so much?
4) How do you expect anyone to sit at a table with a drunk who abuses people in a drunken state without control?
5) So what exactly is happening in TAMA? I am still confused as to what is happening that is wrong. The current EC seems to be more interested in being an "inclusive" organization. I personally was upset at the people they honored and gave an opportunity to. It seems the current EC is very lenient and forgiving to the "other" side.
These are just a few questions that come to mind. Can you please answer them first.
Credability of Gurava's mail.
1. We had a meeting on September 12th, Sunday afternoon at 2 PM SaiMurali on what's happening in TAMA and what should we do about it.
This meeting was a secret meeting with only the Kula Gajji Reddy's.You should have informed about this meeting too to the general community and request them to attend.
2.We discussed in length if we might be better off separating from the quarrels, mass membership drives, and manipulations.
The attendees were the people who lost the 09 election who were involved in the quarrels,had did their part in mass membership drives and did manipulations when they were in power in 08.dooradhi dummara gudasalu chepadi sriranga neetulu.
3.TAMA was started in 1981 when there were only few families in Atlanta. Now, the Telugu population in Atlanta is about 7,000 families.
This is true.
4.Every major metropolitan in United States has two or more associations and they are all thriving and running very efficiently to address the issues facing Telugu community.
Having more than one association is true but starting an organization with only Reddys and asking the whole Telugu community is not fair.You should have called the entire telugu community instead of a secret meeting with only Reddys and that too corrupt and selfish power hungry Reddy's
5.Why not we have a peaceful organization that focuses on our families and culture, without any dirty politics, elections, mass memberships, and out of state voting? We discussed all the above issues to come up with solutions.
Discussed with the rowdies who come to TAMA functions fully drunk and shout at the people in front of the families. And you expect to have a peaceful org with these goons.
6.The name was registered as a precautionary step.
You thought some one will steal the name.You are already starting with mis trust.We can imagine the functioning of the org.Are you going to keep the membership money in your personal account as a precautionairy step as well.
Come on. Instead of all this just say we are having an association for the reddy's and everyone would have appreciated your effort.

Can Rachabanda come up with the names of the attendees who attended this meeting excluding the Goons of last year.
We want Rachabanda to come up with the names of neutral people who attended this that way we know their real face and expose their Reddy Kula Gajji.
1. 10 years Bala ran TAMA in the background-That time these people did not feel injustice.
2.Bala at the expense/using TAMA started promoting APNA-That time these people did not feel injustice.
3.For so many years Dokka used the money of TAMA to felicitate and conduct events for his caste people-That time these people did not feel injustice.
4.Konda and Co used TAMA for their RSS activities and helped people in Bhutan when our own brethern in AP were suffering from floods-That time these people did not feel injustice.
5.When people came to TAMA functions drunk and shouted at people in front of families-That time these people did not feel that it was humilation.
6.When they issued Fatwas and scared people who wanted to contest-That time these people did not feel injustice.
7.When lot of Reddy consulting companies enrolled students, their consultants in 08-That time these people did not feel injustice.
8.When Konda,Murthy and batch did not believe in democracy and did hijacking,threatening candidates and voters-That time these people did not feel injustice.
The list goes on. They are ok with everything because their REDDY'S were controlling the organization.
TAMA has nothing to do with Rachabanda and in fact no one knows who is running it but definately doing great service by coming with the truth.When they are exposing your true colors it is humilating for you instead of changing your attitudes.
I am happy that TAMA will be a better organization without these goons.
If I understand correctly TAMA is a voluntary organization and whoever work for it are all volunteers. If two, three or ten groups are so excited to volunteer and serve Telugu community in Atlanta. Let them all be part of the core Team. Let there be multiple presidents and other coordinators for each branch. Make provision for more branches(activities). Let there be voting among themselves to decide on course of action for each year, instead of bothering the TAMA Members.
On second thoughts :) , we will be missing elections if they stop fighting and part ways. It was so fun with all the gossips and hoopla.. Thanks rachabanda.... last year was a blast.
Make TAMA Executive Committee election part of TAMA event Calender, every year. We want elections. It is more exciting than any cultural events they organize.
More over we feel at home(AP) with all that turmoil in the community.

last meeting in Sai Murali was attended by 14 people including Dr. Manga raju, Venkat Mondeddu, Kiran Kandula, TSR, Gurava Reddy, Ravi Singareddy, Karunakar, gautham etc.
Some one asked Gurava whether he decided to start a organization to support YSR and then decide to find problems(excuses) with TAMA.

The same people in the private meeting he had on Sep 12th, did mass memberships in both 2008 & 2009.
Are they "Human Waste" as well? What is the reason for starting a new association with the same old 'waste' material?
The solution for this problem is as follows:
Reddy's should stop issuing fatwahs and let Reddy's contest in both the groups.
Kammas on the other hand does not issue fatwahs as we can see Tanuja etc were allowed to contest from the other group depending upon the individual choice.
They are so castist that if some reddy's just sign the nomination form of a Kamma candidate they put lot of pressure and ask him to withdraw the name.
We need to have elections based on issues and performance and the first step that Gurava needs to do is ask his fellow radical Reddy's to stop issuing fatwahs.
An appreal to the general community from peace loving Reddy's
We are common Reddy's who are peace loving and apreciate other castes and live in harmony with everyone and do service irrespective of castes.
We have nothing to do with these Radical Reddy group and we do not support/fund any of their activities either directly or indirectly.

As the meeting for another org was a failure with handfull of atendees inspite of sending email to all the community,the organisers have seconds thoughts which means they are in the correct direction,so just ignore the second org and lets move on with TAMA
Moving Forward
All, It's my privilege to let you all know that after our 2nd meeting, we have decided to form Greater Atlanta Telugu Association (GATA) with Siva Mattipalli as temporary coordinator. There are a few among us that want to rethink and reassess but let it be clear to all of us that we are going forward with all our strength and focus. There is no scope for negotiations or deliberations. That phase was over with the second meeting. Please be vocal in supporting the new GATA that would celebrate decency rather than politics, dirtiness that's invariably involved in any cultural organization. Let's all be sacrificing ourselves for the good of our association rather than sacrifice the group for ourselves. Thanks one and all for your willingness to be decent by being different. We are in the land of free and let's all celebrate by being free truly, rather than worry about pandering to corrupt practices, control of the association, and intimidation. TAMA represents only 10% of the estimated 7000 families in Atlanta and most of the life members lost their interest in it long back with the dirty politics and corrupt practices. About 30 people attended the meeting on Sunday. As per your communication, some are not in agreement for the formation of GATA.

TAMA EC 2010 has conducted 2 workshops and announced the proposed changes ahead of the GBM. In fact they did the 2nd GBM as the first GBM did not have the required quorum to pass the proposed changes. Everything they did transparently…

Last year during elections TSR group went to Swapna and requested Madhu to be the President. Madhu, Samba and Purna rasied Kamma cast during their meeting at Caribou cafe restaurant and NOT TSR. I am the witness. TSR group said that EXCEPT Anand, we asked him to take the reigns. They went to Jagan and mentioned the same and he suggested to start an organization called KAMA. The least they could have done is inform the community of everything that happened. Now it is too late, without sounding like sore whiners they cannot bring all these things out. The time has past.

TAMA belongs to Atlanta Telugu community. No single group or individual or cast has no absolute control over TAMA. That is the reason different groups paticipated and won the elections different times.
