We have been hearing a lot of stories/gossips about 2010 Financials from different unauthorized sources for the last 2 months. 2010 Executive Committee would like to inform you that we shared 2010 bank statements, online transactions information, receipts for the expenses incurred in 2010 and also detailed and summarized versions of 2010 Financials with the current Executive Committee and Board. We also reviewed the 2010 financial details (income, expenses, showing receipts of expenses) with the current EC members and three Life Members (Dr.P.V.Rao, Shyam Nagalla, Satish Musunuri) as observers during this meeting.
2010 Executive Committee worked hard and also spent lot of money from their pockets to bring a variety of quality programs to the members for all the events. All these programs were planned based on the expected revenues (pledges and commitments) from the community but pending pledges and pending ticketed income from programs like Super Singers Musical Concert and Palleku Podaam resulted in negative cash flow. 2010 EC would like to present all the facts to current TAMA members about 2010 financials through GBM to clear all misunderstandings arising out of false propaganda on this matter.

Please find attached information about 2010 TAMA Financials.
Slide# 5 provides a snapshot of the total available funds (including income in 2010), total life membership amount and total expenses for the year 2010. The net loss for 2010 is $13,400.44
2010 Executive Committee discussed this information and agreed to raise funds for the loss incurred in 2010 due to pending pledges that never materialized as income.
The entire 2010 Executive Committee worked hard in organizing all the events in 2010 that were well received by the community. Now the committee is already working towards raising funds for the above mentioned loss. Our goal is to provide the amount by March 31st, 2011. We will work with current EC & Board to fulfill this commitment.

Hello Seetha Garu and Suresh,
Last night my self, Sunil & Aluwal reviewed income and expenses of 2010 & 2011. The approximate deficit will be $15,000 for both years. In tax filing aspect all the deficit is coming under 2011 calender year, since lot of 2010 checks are cashed in 2011.
The total commitments that we haven't received from our donors are more than total deficit. We would like to share our views with sub-committee before publishing facts to outside.
Could you finalize sub-committee members and arrange an in person meeting with sub-committee as early as possible. We should send an email to our current members with facts and our plan to raise the money to fill the gap. This will be a joint effort of both 2010 and 2011 teams. As a president of 2010 EC I would like to take lead to raise funds to fill this gap As soon as possible. Mean while Mr. Sunil is going to send an email about bank statements and online transactions.

This loss for TAMA must be a mistake. We always have profits in the Swapna Restaurant. We never had negative cash flow in our business. We are very careful with the cash flow in our business.
I will check with Madhu regarding the losses to TAMA. I am sure it's a mistake. I will clarify the loss for TAMA issue asap.

I am sure you have profits in your business. When it comes to TAMA, you declared losses. Why is that? Why were you not careful with TAMA finances, like how you are careful with your business.

The Board along with the finance committee has reviewed the losses incurred in 2010, reduction in CD money and misinformation provided to the audit committee, GBM and TAMA members.
Based on the information available to us, there was a total loss of approx. $15,991.10 in 2010.
CD amounts should have been $180,000, but we have only $168,000 with $4000 dues of 2010.
Preliminary review of 2011 financials is in progress.
Board had authorized the President to create a new CD a/c with $165,000 before Ugadi Event.
We requested the 2010 EC to raise/pay funds, as promised by them, to recover the losses.
WHAT IS THE PUNISHMENT?
Did you ever check the discrepancy in Suresh Penchala account number? Madhu used that money and deposited in another account after a gap.

Madhu TATA, Sunil Katepalli, Suresh Babu, Mahesh Pawar, Prasad Yadana and Sandhya Nallajerla kindly agreed to pay or raise 16K the losses before March 31st.
We appreciate their honesty and integrity.
