2009 తామా కార్యవర్గం నియమాలు పాటించనందుకు కోర్టు వరకు తామాను ఈడ్చుకు వెల్లారు. ఇదే పరిస్థితి NASSTA కు కూడా ఏర్పడుతుందా? దేవుని ఆలయము అని తమ డబ్బును భక్తిని సమర్పించిన భక్తులను లెక్క చెయ్యకుండా స్వామి కార్యము స్వకార్యము ఒక్కటే అన్నట్లుగా తమ స్వంత వ్యాపారాలకు గుడిని వాడుకుంటున్నారని వినికిడి. NASSTA కి జరిగే పూజలకు, పూజారుల సామానులకు NASSTA కార్యవర్గము లో ఒకరి దుఖానం నుంచి సరఫరా చేస్తున్నారని తెలిసింది. సాధారణంగా ఇటువంటి నాన్ ప్రాఫిట్ సంస్థలకు కార్యవర్గం లోని వాళ్ళు గుడి కార్యాలను స్వంత లాభాలను వేరు వేరుగా ఉంచాలన్నది సరయిన పధ్ధతి. ఈ రెండు ముడి పడినప్పుడు లావాదేవీలు ఎంతో దూరంలో ఉంటాయా?
గుడి కోసమని కొన్న వెండి సామానులకు నగలకు లెక్కలు లేవని, ఏవి ఎంత కొన్నారో ఒక్కరు ఇద్దరు తప్ప ఎంతో మందికి తెలియదని వినికిడి. ఇంతవరకు సరిగ్గా గుడి లెక్కలు "ఆడిట్" చెయ్యలేదని అంటున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆడిట్ కమిటి లో ఉన్న వారు పడని కష్టం లేదని ప్రతి దానికి అడ్డంకులేనని వార్త. మొన్న ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లో జరిగిన వరద బాధితులకు సహాయం సేవా ద్వారా ఎందుకిప్పించారు. NATS వారు 5000 వరకు "మ్యాచ్" చేస్తామన్నా వారి ద్వారా ఎందుకు ఇప్పించలేదు? ఇలాగే ఇంకా వేరే సంస్థలు కూడా ఉంది ఉండ వచ్చు. ఇది ఎవ్వరు తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయము? ఎందుకు తీసుకున్నారు? ట్రస్టీలను అడిగారా? అయినా వీరికి భయమన్నదే లేదా? నాన్ ప్రాఫిట్ సంస్థ అన్న తరువాత ఎన్నో నిబంధనలు ఉంటాయి. నాన్ ప్రాఫిట్ అంటే IRS వారికి పన్ను కట్టనక్కరలేదు. దానికని ఎన్నో నిబంధనలు పాటించవలసి వస్తుంది. గుడి కార్యకర్తలు ఈ నిబంధనలు పాటిస్తున్నారా ? గుడి లోని రాజకీయ వేత్తలు కోర్టు కేసు అవ్వక ముందే వారి తప్పులను సరి దిద్దుకుంటారా? లేక ఇది కూడా ఒక తామా అవ్వ వలసి వస్తుందా?

Sewa International is an outfit of RSS and VHP which promotes fundamantalist Hindu Idealogy.Baba is for all and did not preach any particular religion.The NASSTA temple is open to all religions.
Is it correct to use the funds given by devottees of all religions to promote one religion.
The CROOKS who destroyed TAMA by making a Telugu organization work for the people of Bhutan instead of telugu people are now trying to destroy NASSTA by using the funds given by devottees of all religions to fund their fundamentalist hindu organizations.
Save NASSTA from these CROOKS.
NASSTA is a new growing organization and is learning fast from it's mistakes.It recently got out of family run committees and we can see lot of involvement from new people and new volunteers.Keep up the good job.
There are certain valid points raised by Rachabanda and I hope the EC will look into these and make sure there is greater tranperacy in their dealing and make this a strong organization.

Guys, you are diverting the whole topic here. The main culprits for SAI temple are two sisters. Some one has to teach them a lesson or drag them to court of law, other wise these two sisters think that NASSTA is their own personal property (just the way BALA used to think, TAMA is his own personal property). But the question is who can bell the CAT? Some one has to teach them about the legal meaning of "TRUST" and the "TRUSTEE" and then about "Ethics" and "Morality".
Last year, what I heard from many trustees is "what all they bought for pratistapana in the name of GOD, no one knows except those two sisters. I heard they (two sisters) spent nearly $40,000 dollars (temple money). May be BABA knows what is going on? OR any one here in Atlanta can take an AVTAR like lord KRISHNA to punish these two sisters.

The celebrity sisters are egoistic and dramatic they have never been transparent in the construction of the temple and the funds. All they wanted was to get fame and name.Everyone did notice on the pratistapana of the temple it looked like their wedding day. All the chamchas sing praises of them and forget the effort of the forefathers and others involved in bringing up the temple.It is a shame to see them and the Members involved still continuing the dirty politics.
The temple has become a place to promote individual businesses.
It is a shame we find crooks sheltering in temples.They should be taken to the court of law or made to step down.
I believe that temple has a loan that need to be paid off. Instead of taking care of temple's loan, why are they fundraising for other people?. I don't seem to understand this concept.

If the current EC doesn't want to answer and be responsible for the issues raised, why we have to support and donate to organizations run by them. If they don't want to answer on this blog, they can atleast organize a open forum in the temple where everyone can participate and listen to the explanations. Once, right checks and balances are established, then they can expect the support of the community.

Sannasi No:1 collects donations from our community and transfer the funds to other people. Wears service mask to establish connections. Use them to promote self business.
He stole $5000 in 2009 from Telugu community and gave them to his connections instead of spending the money to help Telugu community. Why is that?. We don't have anyone that needs help.

You mean fundamentalist right? Few years ago, some groups complained against Sewa International UK and IDRF. After a long enquiry and visit of lawmakers/donors to India, UK Charities commission cleared Sewa of any wrong doing. In USA, companies restored matching grants. In the end, more people and temples are working with Sewa.
During recent floods in AP & Karnataka, Seva Bharati volunteers were in forefront of relief activities (distribution of essential items irrespective of caste and religious background, cleaning temples and clearing dead animals). There are many news reports and updates of Seva Bharathis work on various TV channels.
After going through rehabilitation proposals, Srinivas Nimmagadda garu, Vice President of NASSTA, has selected Sewa. We are grateful and will give reports on utilization of funds to the temple committee.

Can Rachabanda come up with a separate tab for NASSTA and inform whats going on in the temple so that devottees can make comments and this way the temple management can see what the community is thinking about them and correct their mistakes if they are wrong.
This is because their is no way one can express their greviences in NASSTA except be at the mercy of few people.
Hope NASSTA takes these comments positevely and corrects if something is valid and ignore if they are not valid.
NASSTA should be thankful to Rachabanda as they brought these to light and must be careful with dealing with people who are corrupt and gave a way for the devottees to express their feelings.

The explanation given by Srikanth is technically right on paper reg Sewa International.Srikanth is an hard core RSS man and will only support the organizations which support hindutva idealogy.Majority of funds will be spent in promoting hindus as he said that they cleaned the temples etc.99% of the funds will be used to fund hindus and 1% for other religions for eye wash.
Srikanth you can approach any fundamental hindus and take donations and spend as you like BUT dont mis lead NASSTA management as NASSTA is not a hindu temple.Any religion person can come and pray there and we want the temple to be like that.
Dont mislead people saying that you are a secular guy.You are a hindu fanatic and we dont want NASSTA to be spoilt by involving with fundamentalist organizations.

Can NASSTA clarify if it has been registered as a hindu temple or a place of worship where any religion can offer their prayers.
If the current management can check with the founding fathers of the temple we will know the truth. As far as I know Baba didnot teach any particular religion and definately would suggest NASSTA to stay away from any religious fundamentalist groups.
The message is clear.Everyone including small children know that Srikanth is associated with Hindu fundamentalist groups. There is nothing wrong in being associated with those groups as its his personal opinion and choice.

Maala Kondaiah and co project to the community that they did great service by assisting Bhutamese refugees.
He has assisted HINDU refugees from Bhutan and the problem is he used a Telugu association to get the resources and money.
Why did he not use only his fanatic hindu organizations to help them.
In the same manner he has used NASSTA in the pretext of helping flood victims and took their money.
Be careful with this guy as he is dangerous to the community as he plays games behind the scenes.

Kondya used to be a service oriented person. Slowly he started forwarding his business agenda with the service. For the past few years he got involved with the local politics to promote his own business. When he started mixing his business with service and politics, he lost the respect. I used to like the service aspect, but not anymore.

As per Kondas earlier response, donation to Konda from NASSTA was supported by a K person.
It look's like Konda is the real problem here, not the cast.

The mission statement has no reference regarding Hindu religion.
If a person interested in local politics brings in a Church and influences NASSTA to donate to advance his own personal interests and career, is it acceptable?.

I see lot of personal slander and also on organizations that are working for the community. I am giving clarifications for the sake of people who visit the site.
Sewa International takes up several projects during natural calamities and causes during hour of need in US and India like hurricane katrina.
Several volunteers/donars contibute time and financial help selflessly
Sewa International conducted several health camp's. Some of these camps are conducted in churches, I have seen one such camp where there are hardly any Indian's leave alone Hindu's.
Regarding Bhutan refugees, its the govt funded charitable agency that contacted hindu temple for help,
and hindu temple approached several individuals and organizations for help like Sewa International.
When these organizations help no one asks for their religion or caste. I happend to be one such volunteer and i never asked the family's relgion. I came to know the person i was helping is a christian as i called one sunday and he was heading to church.
I never stopped helping to this day knowing him to be christian.
There is nothing wrong in hindu's helping hindu's, even govt approaches relegious charities for help as it's less burden on the govt.

Congrats on this success and thanks but no thanks for keeping us updated. It is better to keep these success emails among the direct employees of Idhasoft and not the consultants, since we do not reap any benefits from these accomplishments of Idhasoft. I have listed some of the stuff we go through as contractors and the following are the reasons for our frustration
They say our paycheck is split 75/25 – we all know that's bull crap!! There are consultants with printed proof from the clients that state otherwise. Some consultants who even get above $75 per hour are paid only about $30 - $35. That is the reason they, the employing consultant companies, refuse to disclose the purchase order to consultants. I am not sure what Mr. Konda (President, Semafor) means by "break-even point"…when every consultant is cheated off his paycheck and is paid much much less than the said 75%, I would think they are very safe from the break-even point.
The least they could do for us, consultants, is not treat us like pimped out prostitutes. Why the prostitute-pimp analogy??? A prostitute slaves throughout the night and has to pay a huge percentage to the pimp – the prostitute has no say in the matter and no benefits. The only difference with us is that we work for our employers in the daytime. We have no paid time off, no sick leave, we cannot ask them how much they are taking of our paycheck (they are going to lie), etc. Moreover when some parties or get-togethers take place we are not invited. We are secluded as "outside-contractors" by the clients where we are placed and our own employers (Idhasoft, Semafor, S3, and the likes…) also ignore us from their parties and functions. We end up staying home with nothing to do for festivals and holidays be it Diwali, Christmas, Halloween or whatever. They go to India a number of times a year (some even three times before getting married 1.-Meet the girl, 2- Get engaged, 3- Get married). Consultants have to again beg for a vacation for a week or two per year.
Consultants, who are on bench, forward requirements from vendors or job-websites to the marketing guys. These requirements in turn are forwarded by the marketing guys to other consultants so that they don't have to split the paycheck 80%-20% instead of 75%-25% with the consultant who found the requirement.
When we ask for a raise even after working over 6 months or a year, they reduce us to begging before they give a raise of not more than $1-$2 per hour (please remember even after this raise, they are still taking much more than 25% off our paychecks).
There are consultants who are on bench who face a lot of issues getting their monthly stipend too. We also have to make a hundred calls and wait for a long time before anything we have spent is reimbursed to us. One of semafor's full-time/direct employees hit a consultant's car with semafor's company van. The consultant out of trust did not call 911 or the insurance company immediately since he was told by the guy that he will be paid for the damages. But after that day the guy did not pick up the consultant's calls and when the he called the concerned people in the company directly and stated his issue, he was told that it was not their responsibility.
Consultants who are put up in the guesthouses face problems like not having electricity/internet (they forget to pay). When you acquire projects that make millions, I would think that utility bills for a couple of guesthouses are a small price to pay. Moreover these consultants have to beg to get a ride to Wal-Mart and when they do get one, they are treated and spoken to like they have been done a huge favor.
There are a lot more issues that are too trivial to mention in an email to a multi-million dollar company. But when we go with issues to our employers, they say that policies have changed and this is the norm since Idhasoft has taken over. They also mention (threaten) that if we do not like it here, Idhasoft is always happy to let us go. I like to think that we, consultants, play at least a small part in the success of the company. This is a plea to acknowledge and take our issues more seriously.

Dokka conducted lots of Sahitya Sadassulu in Atlanta and honored lot of scholors.All of them belong to one caste. Did he not find any scholors in other communities to facilitate?
Both of you endorsed Dokka in his application in TAMA election.You did not find anyone else to endorse? Is it because of your caste feeling?
No one cared when Dokka was facilitating scholors as we all felt that they are our telugu people and supported his activities with an open heart.
Both of you have done a vicious campaign by making calls and spreading bad feelings about others in 2008 dividing the peaceful community which never bothered about castes.
Both of you spread rumors that people are trying to hijack TAMA by enrolling candidates.The team you supported also spent money and enrolled candidates.Why did you campaign for them when you felt that spending money is not the right thing.You had your own selfish interests and started slandering people and making them look bad in the community.
The slander you are receiving right now is because of your bad actions in the past.
Not only did you commit a mistake you involved some decent and innocent people.
Hope you realize this and correct yourself and be a good human being.

A lot of you don't know me except my name for good reasons.
I didn't involve with TAMA in both years. I am not a member as I didn't want to be involved in partisan politics. Once a member, you have to choose sides and there is enough smoke that I know, I can't make a good decision.
There was a small judgment mistake when I requested one of the prospective '08 TAMA candidates (a family friend) to not stand as I felt they shouldn't be dragged into politics. After learning that there is enough smoke, I backed off from my efforts and apologized for my special appearance. My involvement in terms of time is 2 hours and 'in votes' is possibly insignificant. In '09 - I stayed away as far as I can and didn't take membership even after some key people in the community requested me to do so. I have a healthy respect for anyone with good intentions and good deeds.
I never made/had a single phone call or conversation on who to vote for or against in both years.
My views on politics and why it is NOT my cup of tea:
a) It creates more enemies than friends
b) It is a slippery slope, where a good man can become totally something else over time
c) Life is public and anyone can criticize, so person needs thick skin or ear filters
Idha is my employer and I am no partner to anyone. My pay check is dependent on the economy and my professional skill set (like all of you) and not on any individual or Telugu groups.
I helped raise funds for flood victims through Venkateswara Temple (HTA) in 100% clean, heartfelt manner. We raised funds on any service organization's name and represented entire community of Telugu's in Atlanta. We stood united through out the process and continue to do so.
If there is a few that I hurt for any reason that I am unaware of, first - I apologize, second - you can talk to me. I lead a private life and honestly have no interest and time for politics or taking sides. I have few great friends that stand by me and that too for non-political, non-financial reasons.
I wish this blog and other good friends, good luck as they settle their issues.
I request one more time to not use my name as I have no interest in public life and my role to date in politics is near zero. You should take membership not only for elections, but also for coming and participating and enjoying the TAMA programs. It shows your support for your regional cultural organization.
I think TAMA said all participants must be TAMA members. If you want to participate you have to take membership. Otherwise you are a TAMA PARASITE.

Konda and Murthy,
Both of you said that how come NATS and TANA members in Atlanta come together after they fought against each other in 2008? You have mentioned that how come TDP members facilitate a BJP CM. You have spread the word that these people have no ethics.
Can you both explain this.
How come Konda worked with Madhu in 2008? What are the ethics he followed as Konda belongs to RSS which is fundamentalist hindu group and Madhu belongs to SFI which is a communist organization.
How come Murthy is a strong supporter of Konda as Konda comes from RSS which produced Godse(Who assasinated Gandhi)and our Murthy says he is inspired by Gandhi.
Appeal to Konda,Murthy and Shyam
You have done great harm to the community by your actions. You are a disgrace to your families,your friends,the organizations you work for,the community you live in and so forth.
Sincerely request that you come out in the open and let go your ego and apologize to the community which made you leaders.
The best venue to apologize is in the coming Ugadhi celebrations on the TAMA stage that way the whole community will see that you are sincere in admitting your mistakes than sending couple of e-mails.
Will leave it to your judgement.
May be a few of you guys are not happy with Konda for his actions in TAMA. But here we are discussing about his actions in NAASTA and other community places in general.
Don't make it sound like it's a tussel between Konda and few folks. Lot of valid issues were raised and we haven't heard a peep from Konda. It's just not about TAMA.
