TAMA is planning a workshop to get input from the community. This looks like the first step in reconciliation process by the EC which is commendable. It is heard that a lot of people who received this invite did not even respond. Let us see how many people show up or give their input. This will show the real intent of the people, who is really interested in the welfare of the organization and who is just for posts.
We hope this is going to help restart that TAMA కార్ instead of people
just having ఖానా and leaving.

Dear Past EC Members and Key Contributors of TAMA,
Your contributions to TAMA during the last 28 years made TAMA a vibrant and dynamic organization. Despite the changes at National level Telugu organizations, Telugu community in Metro Atlanta remains united. Despite the occasional elections, TAMA members whole-heartedly supported the new officers.
New EC of TAMA is seeking your support and guidance to take TAMA to a new level with a target of 1000 life members. Our telugu community is growing very rapidly in Metro Atlanta area. At this stage our organization TAMA needs new ideas, new structure and new by-laws.
TAMA 2010 EC decided to conduct a workshop on February 27th, 2010 at Best Western Hotel in Smyrna. We would like to invite all of you for this workshop to discuss future course of action. After consolidation of your feedback,it will be presented to the next GBM for final approval.

Thanks Rachabanda for letting the community know this is happening. The Email was sent to which group of people. I get TAMA Email every week but I didn't see this Workshop in it. I looked up on the TAMA website, but couldn't find it. If it is not open to public, it shouldn't be called TAMA workshop. Call it Team A Workshop.

It is very disappointing to come to know that you guys have invited a selective group of TAMA members for the TAMA workshop. Why didn't you guys send this information in the weekly news letter. Where is the so called trasperancy you guys promised in the elections?

I heard it was a Evite not a Email that was sent out.
What is the reason to call only selective people?
Evite was sent to me after talking to a friend but I am not interested to go just for Food. How the EC is going to consume ideas from 100+ invitees in just one meeting? instead you should set a committee to gather feedback and compile a acceptable list for every one.
Can the EC explain what criteria is used to pick invitees?
