I am Tanuja Puvvada, contesting as President for TAMA 2010. In the face of the upcoming “elections”, I come to you with folded hands and humbly seek your support and blessings for our Team Tama 2010. Ability to motivate & lead teams towards a common goal, passion for serving the community, and proven track record of collaboration for greater results with other Indian-American organizations in Atlanta area are the key attributes that make me the most suitable candidate for this position. I would like to take this opportunity to highlight my strengths in each of these areas and provide proof points for the same.
As the current Vice President of TAMA, I have had the pleasure of working with a team of exceptional individuals delivering several high quality fun-filled programs such as "palleku poadaam" and "vantala potee" along with several high quality cultural and literary programs. The fact that several members of the current Executive Committee have agreed to support me by joining TEAM TAMA 2010 is a true testimonial to my ability to Lead & Motivate. If you see the list of candidates in our team, you will notice that we all are a team of good hearted, well meaning, hard working, young, and diverse group of volunteers that have come together to serve the community without any personal or selfish agenda . Attached is a summary of what our team achieved in 2009 and our goals for 2010.
My passion for serving the community is clearly highlighted thru' mobilization and organization of assistance when the community needed it. Volunteering the Summer Health Camp for Visiting Parents at Sai Health Fair is one such example. Also, during my professional career, I have successfully delivered numerous projects including conducting nutritional and health camps in rural areas with collaboration of UN. I have worked in utter poverty stricken areas providing counseling to parents of special needs children. I have experienced what it means to help a community and the gratification derived from it under the most challenging conditions. As a mother of two and thru' several years of volunteering experience I have a strong understanding of the women's issues and needs of women in our community. I successfully organized “Mahila Sadassu” in 2009 and intend to bring several more exciting programs geared towards Women's issues.
As for my strength in collaborating with extended organizations and rising the profile of TAMA, I have successfully represented TAMA in providing assistance to Bhutanese refugees in collaboration with other Indian-American organizations in Atlanta area. I have extensive experience of living/traveling across the world and building relations with several cultures. I played a very active role in the Telugu community wherever I lived, in places such as Auckland, NZ and Denver, CO.
Our Team has shown unrelenting commitment all through 2009 to serve our community. As with any such large endeavor, there were some un-intended short comings. Ask any management expert and they will tell you, most suited person is the one, that has the field experience and is the one who has learnt from their mistakes. We have learnt well from our mistakes and I can assure you that such mistakes will not recur.
The choice before you is very simple. Would you elect a person (me) who self-lessly served as TAMA Vice President and implemented innovative programs or someone who never served TAMA in any elected position. I'm confident that you will make the right choice and cast your vote for Team 2010. With your blessings and kind support, we look forward to an exciting 2010.
Namaskaramulatho,
Tanuja Puvvada
On behalf of TAMA TEAM 2010

I am proud of my writing skills. If you like my work above, contact me if you want to add lies, slander, cheap tricks to your profiles.
Would you believe a person who did not even pay for own membership and without any experience in serving TAMA and became a vice president through cheating. And she is pointing to the lack of experience of the other person. What has this world come to?
