TAMA members started receiving recommendations from the great community leaders like Viju, Ravindra Reddy, Phani (You might say who the heck are these guys) supporting Team TAMA 2010. You will hear the same message twisted in different ways this week from other great leaders.
Team TAMA 2010 candidates all have adorable families with spouses and children, good education and they all live in metro Atlanta for x number of years. That is no different from the community they want to serve or their opponents.
Apart from those fine qualities mentioned above, these are the special qualities they posses which you need to take a look before voting for them.
Tanuja Puvvada: (Running for President)
I didn't want to even spend 25 dollars last year to become an annual member for TAMA until my friend paid for me and joined me as a member to support his team. I betrayed my Friend and joined the group run by GODFATHER(s) to become vice president. The first thing we tried last year after winning is to remove voting rights for annual members, so that no one like me will ever over throw me. This year my handlers (GODFATHERS) have a bigger sinister plan and want to make me President at any cost by even breaking (dividing) the community. What do I got to lose? I just moved to Atlanta 2 years back. I might not be in Atlanta for a long time. I don’t care if the community is divided. I will be a president of TAMA for 2010. I will do whatever it takes to reach my handlers goals. “Bend it like Beckham” is my motto to bend the rules as a puppet of my Handlers to promote their personal, political and business agendas.
Ravinder Reddy Allala: (Running for Vice President)
As vice president of Telugu Association of Metro Alpharetta, I will do what. Arrange food for programs.... What the heck. What is this position? Are the GODFATHERS using my good name to get votes? Am I not better than the current Vice President (Tanuja)? I am paying for my own membership and even paid for 100 more. TELUGU PEOPLE LIVE OUTSIDE OF ALPHARETTA. IS THERE A CITY OUTSIDE OF ALPHARETTA IN GEORGIA? WHAT IS IT CALLED? ATTTLANTTA. What can I say? I am new to Alpharetta.
Gireesh Reddy Meka: (Running for Secretary)
Did you ever see me. I am the face (joker) of my team. If you have not yet seen me, it is very easy to identify me. I am the one who acts like a drunk and shouting at all the meetings about my two faces. As current treasurer, which was my full time job counting all the millions of dollars Satanyarana Reddy has been raising for the organization to build community centers and temples all across Metro Atlanta and South East.
*The actual money raised for TAMA last year was less than $2000.00 not including the memberships fees.
Sai Gorrepati: (Running for Treasurer)
As educational coordinator past year, I took kids lunch money as fee for attending the TAMA classes. This is the first time in the history of TAMA. Don’t I make a good Treasurer? As treasurer I will move on to bigger things then taking money from kids. I will have access to all the millions of dollars TAMA raised last year in the leadership of Satanaryana Reddy. We even made some money for TAMA when we took Georgia Tech campus to Hyderabad. After we received the kickbacks we brought back Georgia Tech to Atlanta.
Mahesh Pawar: (Cultural Coordinator)
Elect me as the Cultural Secretary so that I will bring the best of Maharashtra culture to the cultureless telugu people. Look at Raj Thackery (future of India). We follow the same rules. Divide and Rule. Do whatever it takes to win the election. We will try to install the same values in your kids.
Sree Vattikuti: (Education Coordinator)
I was conned by Tanuja. She told me I can contest for a cool position "Educational and Sports Secretary". Afterwards I was told the position is Educational Coordinator. As Educational Coordinator, I will teach all your kids Kannada. What can I say. I was raised in Bangalore. Is it not what they speak in Andhra. Do you think I Joined in the wrong organization. Anyway I will try to teach telugu to your kids. Ha.Ha.Ha. Listen to me speaking telugu before you vote. If you understand it and it makes sense, vote for me.
Satya Karnati: (Media Coordinator)
As you all know I am known for my singing and acting talents. When I am at the mall, lot of people stop me and ask me if I am Babu Mohan. Kids kick me, poke me. I am tired of waiting for sensational news. As media secretary, I want to create my own news and send it to the media outlets and to members.
Umesh Muthyala: (Technology Coordinator)
As Technology coordinator for the second year in a row, I will make sure to use the technology to the best advantage of my GODFATHERS. I will make sure emails with important information regarding elections, memberships will reach the general public after the deadline. After the Executive Commitee reverted the Bylaws to grant voting rights for Annual members, our team started joining members before the Sept 30th deadline but I sent email for the whole community after Oct 1st that Annual members are eligible to vote. I have the mailing list and I will do whatever I want with it.
Madhav Durbha: (Literary Coordinator)
I just want to break the record of my predecessor, Phani Dhoka who resigned four times as literary coordinator before the term ended. He even did it last year. The advice he gave me is (1) Never ask for any funds to conduct literary programs. You will be trashed and yelled at (2) Resign before the term ends and contest for the same position the following year or they will push you to a different position. (3) Baby sit kids in the disguise of teaching telugu, you get free pizza at the end of the day.

Wow, nice one, this is perfect eulogy for the team TAMA 2010.
Guys, this is slander propaganda done by Chand's group to defame the other candidates. We should ignore this stuff.
As past president, I can assure you all the past presidents worked hard for the community before they became president. How can members support a candidate for president who is new to the communtiy.
Tanuja looks like a Apartment Dweller who doesn't care about the communtiy but wants to enjoy all the benefits.
Please don't vote for Tanuj.
And you GODFATHERS, please leave TAMA alone.
There was a discussion about the educational coordinator SREE last week at a party I attended. People were saying she was from Banglore and can't properly speak Telugu. What a choice for educational coordinator who is going to teach our kids Telugu.
Chand gari reply ulti ga undhi.
The funniest blog for TAMA. BTW who ever wrote the resume should write a story for 'TAMA Patrika'.
Jai TAMA Jai Jai TAMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAA
