“The executive committee broke the bylaws. They should have bent backwards to rectify the mistakes. I am reopening the membership drive and nomination process” – Hon. R. Timothy Hamil, Judge Superior Court, Gwinnett County on Tuesday November 10, 2009 supporting my petition.

Rest of the story, you know. USA is not “Banana Republic”. US law is clear and swift.
During the last 27 years, TAMA officers respected the bylaws of the organization and its members. On January 31, 2009, the current EC removed the voting and contesting rights for the annual members without calling for a GBM. On July 1, 2009, Mr. Devanand Konduri raised the issue about changing bylaws but the EC ignored his request. On September 27, I had a meeting with Dr. Mangaraju, Dr. Jaganmohan Rao, Bala Indurti and President Dr. TSR. Dr. TSR has agreed that they made a mistake in not calling for the GBM and was willing to rectify the mistake on November 8th(original GBM/Election day). At my request, he had agreed to inform the members by email before the membership closing time. But, intentionally, mail was sent on October 1, 2009 with no opportunity for past members/prospective members to pay membership dues. See the attached email - Constitution Amendment.
During the nomination process, the EC and Nomination Committee, disqualified Anand Akkineni on flimsy grounds, which the Judge found to be unfair.
On November 5th, I called Dr. TSR and told him to postpone the membership cutoff date and the elections and he refused to do so.
As a Life Member and a Past President, I was left with no option but to seek the support of US legal system. The judge saw merit in our argument and postponed the membership cutoff date and elections. Democracy triumphed!! The current EC and their supporters are giving their own spin!!
During the year many members and life members were abused verbally and in writing.
Now, 6 members of TAMA paid for 250 new members with their credit cards. TAMA members would like the EC to release the names of these 6 individuals in the GBM on 12/6.

It is time to know the truth and not give an extension to the current EC members.

I support ‘Mana TAMA 2010” led by Madhu Tata, who is respected and supported by various community members of TAMA.

Together, WE CAN CHANGE TAMA !!!

Chand who? Why are you dragging the community into the mess? What do you get out of it?

Guys, What kind of society we have become, instead of praising Chand for fighting against factionist politics, we are branding him and scandalizing him. Think about our future of our kids and TAMA. Do we want TAMA to be continued with its current EC and their cloneys. They even picked their next 3 presidents if they have their way. What a bunch of losers.
