My name is Mahesh Mamidi Pawar contesting as Cultural Coordinator for the year 2010. I hail from Andhra Pradesh, born and brought up in Hyderabad. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you all that my past 4 generations lived in Andhra Pradesh and my family is spread all over the state.

I have been actively participating in various community activities during my 10 year stay here in Atlanta. Here are a list of my accomplishments:
• Being passionate about Entertainment and Arts, I have organized highly successful LIVE shows by celebrities such as Devi Sri Prasad, Shiva Reddy, and Vijaya Laxmi
I have volunteered with VIBHA (http://www.vibha.org), a non-profit supporting underprivileged children, by participating in all their fund raising events
• Being a cricket fan, along with my friends, I formed Atlanta Cricket League around three years ago, which provides organizational support to all cricket enthusiasts and conducts charity events
• I actively participated in recent Clothing drive for AP and Karnataka flood relief
• Over the years, I have been serving TAMA as a volunteer and donor for scholarship programs

With all due respect to my fellow contestants, here is how I would like to bring difference to our Community by Serving as Cultural Coordinator.
• Conduct TAMA Super Singer 2010, ATLANTA TELUGU IDOL 2010
• TAMA TV (Publish the video of Atlanta local talents on TAMA Website every month)
• Bring accomplished artists from Andhra Pradesh on to the TAMA stage
• Continue the current Cultural Activities with creative talents and programs
• Encourage Local Talent in different forms of the art
• Enhance the respect of TAMA stage

Lastly, after my association with various non-profit and community organizations (both directly and indirectly), I have a solid understanding of the responsibility that comes with this position, I can assure you that I would work with each and every section of the community and do everything possible to bring them together.

Hence, its my humble request to you, your family and friends, to support me and my panel (Team TAMA 2010) by casting your valuable vote for us during TAMA Elections on Dec 6 2009, at South Forsyth Middle School, 2865 Old Atlanta Rd, Cumming, GA 30041 between 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

Note: Elections is the process of democratic organizations, so I request all the contestants and their supporters to work together and serve TAMA irrespective of the result.
