I am Madhav Durbha contesting for the Literary Coordinator position with TEAM TAMA 2010.
I hail from a family of Writers, Literary Enthusiasts, and Academicians. I have a B.Tech from IIT Madras and Ph.D. from University of Florida, both in Engineering. By profession, I am a Sales Executive in Technology industry. As a TAMA Life Member and Literary Enthusiast, I had the opportunity to interact with several individuals in our Panel during 2009. I was very impressed with the level of dedication, commitment, and the spirit they have shown in successfully organizing several high quality programs. Philosophically I am opposed to the idea of elections for a volunteer based organization such as TAMA. But, if it takes democratic process to decide whether I am allowed to serve with this Exceptional Team, I willfully oblige.

My Contribution to Telugu Culture & Education: Prior to moving to Georgia, I volunteered in Cleveland Telugu community by: Teaching at Saraswati Vidyalayam - Telugu Sunday school for children of Cleveland area Writing, Directing, and Acting in several stage plays in various cultural programs My Ability to Edit and Publish: I am the Editor of news letter for NorthSouthFoundation (http://www.northsouth.org), a non-profit organization promoting educational excellence among children of Indian origin. The newsletter has subscribership in several thousands.
I have several plans for 2010 to bring some very exciting Literary Programs including "Atlanta loa ashTaavadhaanam" and "nela nelaa Telugu vennela" - a monthly literary program. I humbly request your support by voting for me and TEAM TAMA 2010.

Mr Madhav,
You seem to be the only candidate contesting for elections this year really eligible for the respective posts. The very fact that no one has commented on this blog shows a couple of things:
- You are really eiligible for what you are contesting for and everybody agrees
- People realize that they don't get fun in commenting on this as they get in other posts
However - I strongly support you candidature and wish you all the luck in the elections this evening.
People like you who has real worth should win to serve our community
I have really surprised by Madhav's loss. But to win in election one needs good credentials and also need severe campaign.
