ఇంత దూరమొచ్చినాక ఎనక్కు పోయేది లేదు!

Join us at with your families and friends on Saturday 6PM at Sai Murali Restaurant, Alpharetta, GA to show your support for Telangana State

Your support is the need of the Hour! Here is a message from Anand Garlapati, on behalf of fellow Telanganites:
To respond please contact Anand Garlapati directly anandgarlapati@yahoo.com.

We are setting an immediate goal of $5000 to $6000 on behalf of Atlanta Telanganites.

Telanagana NRI JAC is targeting to raise around 15 lakh rupees immediately so that they can run ads in TV Channels, Newspapers and one page pamphlet distribution to enlighten Telangana people for next few weeks. So please don't wait. FYI, irrespective of groups, parties every one joining Telangana NRI JAC for telangana cause. There are already 15 Telangana NRIs along with few MLAs and MLCs actively working with students, and other groups on the ground and fighting to their tooth and nail.

Click here to make your pledge. Click here to see the pledges made so far.

Around 250 NRIs from all over the USA talked to almost all Telangana MPs and MLAs, MLCs and other leaders from 8 PM to 2 AM last night. Timely appeal by NRIs yesterday really worked like a charm and influenced the resignation of every leader of Telangana right from surpanches to MPs and even ministers. Now everyone are for Telangana but not for parties or any other thing. This is very good sign for Telangana.

Just think, even the bitter enemies, politicians who are doing dog fights everyday are coming together for Telangana, why not you.

Some Telangana NRIs who have real estate properties are due to other reasons did not support Telangana. Now real estate is already messed up. If you don't support now real estate prices will fall further and Hyderabad will be a messy place. Sooner we get Telangana, quicker the property values will go up and Telangana will become Swarna Telangana sooner.

Intha Dooramochinaaka enkakupoyyedu ledu!

We request all the recipients of this email to pledge for the campaign immediately without any second thought. Please also forward to all Telangana friends and call them to pledge. This is the time we need everyone to come forward.

P.S: Our estimation is there are around 1000 Telangana NRIs in and around Atlanta. So please forward this request to your Telangana friends. This email has gone only to about 500 of them.

Note: Please don't think who the hell is Anand why should we care. I am not trying to become a leader nor I am going to take any credit from this initiative. Few Telangana friends asked me to lead this effort. As a son of Telangana I took the initiative as the need is very critical at this moment. Everyone are welcome to join this effort and keep this momentum until we get Telangana.

See you all with your families and friends on Saturday 6PM at Sai Murali restaurant, Alpharetta, GA. Your RSVP will be helpful.

Jai Telangana

Sincerely,
Anand Garlapati
on behalf of Atlanta Telangana Friends

The telangana's are more powerful and strong force in Atlanta. What are the Andhra's doing? As the title of the post says this is it guys, its time to rise up and show of strength and unity. Andhra's are divided on caste lines and could never come together to achieve anything. Looks at the current TAMA elections itself, I am referring to the post that was made during the elections http://tamarachabanda.blogspot.com/2009/12/blog-post_04.html

By Region:

Andhra
Tanuja
Anand
Gireesh
Satya
Sreedevi
Suresh
Madhav
Sandhya
Varaprasad

The top five Andhra candidates lost the election, what does it say, we are split and can never be unified. Look at Telanaganites, they are unified and it shows in TAMA, Hindu Temple and even Sai Temple.

I feel that Andhra's deserve to be kicked out of Hyderabad, matter of fact they don't deserve to have a state for them, they should be merged back with Madras.

I agree with you bro. I think Tanuja, Anand and Meka should form Andhra Telugu Association and show these Telanganites some muscle. ee naa kodukulaki doubulu layvu kaani akasaniki vegurutunaru. They need to walk before they run. Without us Andhra's Telegana would have been another Pakistan (Failed State).

Please do not support Terrorist Rastriya Samithi (TRS). It is terrorizing people in Telangana with Telangana movement. It is disrupting people personal properties and people lives.

We are living in USA and most of them are not natural born citizens, if the same situation happens to you in USA, what you will do ? None of the pro Telangana groups condemning these unlawful acts and in fact they are supporting these unlawful activities through fund raising.

Think logically before attending this program.

Why Telangana? There were enormous mistakes done by the rulers over a period of time. I understand the pain of Telangana people. The SRC set up by the government of India in early 50s to examine the question of reorganization of states of the country was, in fact, not in favor of merging the Telangana region with the then Andhra state. After a very careful examination of the issues involved, the SRC recommended that it would be in the best interests of Andhra as well as Telangana if, for the present, the Telangana area was constituted into a separate state, with provision for its unification with Andhra after the general elections of 1961, if by two-thirds majority the legislature of the Telangana state expressed itself in favor of such unification. They rushed in to unification!

The Commission came to this conclusion after a dispassionate assessment of feelings of the people of Telangana and the fears entertained by them. Elaborating the reasons for recommending statehood for the Telangana region the Commission observed that the principal causes of opposition to Visalandhra also seemed to be the apprehensions felt by the educationally backward people of Telangana that they might be swamped and exploited by the more advanced people of the Coastal areas. The real fear of the people of Telangana was that if they joined Andhra they would be unequally placed and in this partnership Andhra would derive all the advantages immediately while Telangana itself might be converted into a colony by the enterprising Andhras. This is what exactly happened and why the people of Telangana felt betrayed and remained backward compared to more advanced Andhras. The rulers, be it be Sanjeeva Reddy, Brahmananda Reddy or others ignored “Gentlemen’s Agreement” and Telangana Development repeatedly. They never fulfilled promises like Regional Development Board of Telangana, Deputy Chief Minister post or filling jobs with Telanganites proportionately.

I think YS Rajasekhara Reddy would have been more committed to cleanse a lot of blunders committed by other governments by developing Telangana and implementing just rules to give confidence to the people of Telangana. He was committed to develop backward Telangana and Rayalaseema equally. People think of Pothireddypadu project but they ignore that he was instrumental in several Telanga Projects like Sripadarao project, Dommugudem or Bheema Nettempadu. He set himself to cleanse the blunders committed. Alas, he is no longer amongst us. And I do not see one leader across the state that is half tall as he is. We can not put faith in any one to have these unjust acts cleansed in future. So Separation of Telangana is the only way, as I see it.

Sincerely, Gurava Reddy

We have to remember, it's not just the Andhra people, as you telanganites call them are the only people that exploited the innocent Telangana people. There are your own telangana people who did the same too. How else can we explain the support a principle less leader like KCR got after all his selfish acts? Telangana people are frustrated beyond a point of return. That is why the separatist movement has reached the present peak. But all people of Telangana must not make victims out of Andhra people that settled in Hyderabad and Telangana because of United Andhra Pradesh. Please restrain from vandalism and highhanded behavior. Let Telangana be new state with fairness as its theme!

As the new proud state of Telangana beacons, the smartest of all Telanganites should sacrifice their personal interests to lead the new state for a new beginning for your people. You can not let the principle less leaders that are leading the movement now to be your future rulers as it will defeat the very purpose of the new state. You must show unselfish leadership to uplift your people.

I do not think there is any force in the universe that can stop the new proud state of Telangana now! There will always be pain of separation amongst the brothers that we are. But instead of looking at as separation to be enemies, I would like to see this as strength. Why not we fight together when injustices are done to one of us and develop our states separately. Why not we get center’s packages to develop backward areas of Telangana and Rayalaseema and have Center fund the building of a new capital for AndhraSeema? We can still be one people and all 42 MPs can be together fighting for the welfare of Telugus everywhere! We can be together more by separation and not separated more by being together! Let’s not worry about the real estate prices and businesses relocating. Easy they come easy they go. It's better to split amicably than to cling on to something that would not be in harmony! We have to be practical in the greater interests of the people of all regions.

I wish Telangana the best and would be lead by smart and selfless people in to its new era! Jai Telangana!!

Sincerely, Gurava Reddy

The meeting was boring. Narendar Reddy and Vivek Reddy gave such boring and dumb speeches. I do not know why they speak in English when the whole crowd was Telugu and they can not speak good English. They just act as if they don't know Telugu. All in all it's boring and half of the crowd left the venue without even bothered to eat their free dinner. If Narendar is the representative of Telangana people in Atlanta, then God only can save Telangana! He is full of himself! Vivek Reddy should seriously think of taking some elementary level English classes and he should know what to talk about in a meeting.

Gurava,

Antha nuvve decide chesthava? Inidan Govt. ki emaina migulsthava? :).

Your comments seem make sense though.

Andhra & Seema people are the biggest loosers in this bargain, in shorter run.

They loose their state.

hey loose their Capital.

They gets a grand title of "Settlers" in their own home city.

They have to start from scratch to build their new capital.

etc..

One good thing is,hopefully they don't have to deal with these shit heads any more in the long run.

Guruva,
I do not agree with you regarding formation of Telangana. There are lot of Samaikya Andhra Pradesh People in Telangana and politicians are not taking consideration of these people and also not allowing them to speak up. In 2009 congress government came to power "Samaikya Andhra Pradesh" slogan, now they can not change rules in the middle of the game.

If congress or any other party really committed to give Telangana, I will demand fresh elections to be held in Andhra Pradesh and decide based on political results and let them clearly whether they are in favor of separate Telangana or not ?

I would like to extend my support any political party which is committed for Samaikya Andhra Pradesh.

We, AndhraSeema have the longest coastline of any state in the country, a great asset. We have gas and oil resources. We have the best of the educated people. We have Vizag, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati. We have the most fertile lands. We have water resources. We will only have few backward places to develop. We have everything in our backyard to develop in to the best state in the nation. Nothing to worry. We have even Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. Gurava

Ravi, I dispute with you. Go check any where, Congress party and YSR never went in to Election 2009 on Samaikyandhra slogan. That said, we know YSR deep inside was for United Andhra Pradesh. As there is no other leader like YSR across the whole state, it's very difficult to stop Telangana from forming as the Italian mother with her four bastard sons (VH, KK, DS, Kaka) are scheming with new political equations. But it's ok to let Telangana separate! Thanks, Gurava

I agree with Gurava Reddy, the formation of Telangana is inevitable unless another Chenna Reddy emerge.
Nothing is impossible with these crooked politicians, who hailed YSR and samaikyandhra as long as YS was alive.Look at the JAC, all congress crocodiles calmly entered the new waters as if they were the real owners. There are capable of sinking the JAC if required.
The JAC is already a mess, internally every party is aiming for their own benefit.

After the formation of Telangana, Andhra may struggle for resources and capital for short term but in long term it has good potential to become richest state in INDIA, the worry is for seema, their fate is really depends on whether Andhra accept them or not.If they are to be separated to form a 3rd state they will be the biggest losers.

It is not a cake walk for Telangana. Once separated they will have two paths,
A path, where all parties work together to complete the irrigation projects which was the regions main demand for decades.
or with lots of power, internal fights and external competition continue fooling people by blamming Andhra for backwardness and drag the new state in to a horrible example of separation.

My hope is for a new future for both states. Equal opportunities for the people and healthy competition.

Tamawala, I do not have great faith in present day politicians in general and Telangana politicians in particular. I hope too, that Telangana can prosper with separation. My fear is that it may become adda for Naxals. I will be the happiest person if I would be proved wrong. Thanks, Gurava

Dear TAMA RACHABANDA Owner,

I have serious objection on the posting my private email on TAMARACHABANDA as below:

http://tamarachabanda.blogspot.com/2009/12/blog-post_5813.html

I want to know who is the owner of TAMARACHABANDA and who posted it.

You guys are encouraging hate discussion by allowing anonymous postings and approving hate talk. FYI, We are supporting Telangana with a democratic process but we don't want division between telugu people in Atlanta. Blog likes yours is spoiling the atmosphere in Atlanta Telugu community. This is not the stage to talk about Telangana Vs Andhra.

Thanks

Vivek Reddy
I did not become a Tama member as I did not want to be a part of or object of anonymous mud slinging.I am sure many readers of this forum share my feelings on abusive writing.
If there is something to be said, it can be said without name calling. Remember, deep down, you truly are what you do or what you think( and write) when you are by yourself. If you think logically and present respectfully you are a logical and respectable person.

I have not advised anywhere that people should be driven out of Hyderabad or any place because their origin. That would have been hypocritical, considering that we enjoy the residential privileges in here same as natives. As a matter of fact,I actively fight against such talk.
However, the fight we have is not about rights of residents or investors in Hyderabad, but that of rights of people living in Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam etc. It is for the right to reinstate our earlier state- Telangana. The fight is against being treated uequally in distribution of water,in investment in infrastructure and in state employment. Advising that we should stay united without addressing injustice, merely because we speak one language, is not a fair or convincing proposition. Language alone is a good but not compelling reason to stay united.
All I said in the meeting is that an Andhra farmer gets irrigation water at highly subsidized tariff with out any personal investment and that we are left to fend for ourselves despite being in catchment area and entitled to riparian rights -thus making Telangana agriculture an unviable proposition. I narrated the apathy of AP government to Telangana by sharing my personal experience. I told that despite being less than 15 miles away from Godavari river aswell as Ramagundam, we did not get water or power well until 25 years after state formation. People from Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda are not even that lucky with Krishna just passing by them.

Check out facts on fair treatment to Telangana. For the government in power, the common man is the client being served - not KCR, KK, AC or BC. These leaders can't stir emotions if the facts are against them- surely not for 50 long years.
No samaikya leader has addressed this question on the unfair treatment meted out to us.
Remember,we,in Telangana, did not initiate the merger. Therefore should some thing have not been done, proactively,in these 53 years or after the agitation of 1969, so that we can be together without even asking for it?
Be a judge - if you are from Telangana, would you be a passive observer if jobs, water;investment in railways, schools, colleges, and hospitals; not to mention NABARD funds pass you by?

RP said...

Water passing close by you does not mean that you can get it without effort. We in Palnadu have Krishna River in 5 KMs but we do not get any water from it. You know why? Elevation. Water flows down slope. Krishna and Godavari deltas are downstream. Lift irrigation technology has become viable only now. Powerful motors and vision of the government have to be combined to make our dreams come true now. Just to badmouth a leader of YSR stature, who has that vision may make it a good speech to the partisan crowd that you got but truth lies elsewhere. Search for it with your eyes open. Let’s keep the shit leaders like VH, KK, DS, KCR, Kaka and Nagam etc in their place! I do not have any issues with Telangana separating. Absolutely no problem. Only thing that hurts people of AndhraSeema is the fact even the last CM looked for Keesara, Basara and Medak for the new IIT than any Andhra or Rayalaseema area. Chandrababu spent most of its budget for Hyderabad beautification and infrastructure. To say Hyderabad was not developed by Andhra leaders by one of your speakers is absolute trash. Look at Hyderabad airport, Hitec city, Uppal stadium, Outer Ring Road, PV Expressway, etc. Let’s call a spade a spade. Sripadarao project, Devadula, Bheema Nettempadu, and Dommugudem projects do not benefit Andhra people for YSR to focus on them. Telangana people cry that he did not spend enough money on Pranahita Chevella project. No state government can spend Rs 40,000 crores on any project. He was making a full attempt with Center to make it nationalized. To call Jalayagnam jalabhagnam by the same speaker is trash too. Only one project Pulichintala has some five villages relocated in Telangana. Nagarjuna Sagar had minimal effect on Telangana villages getting immersed, as it has natural reservoir. People living here in the US that do not follow happenings in our state do not have a clue but they try to talk as if they know. Let’s do a research and have one on one town hall meeting type debate on these issues. To criticize, you need to be impartial first. When fairness lacks, your criticism is not worth it! Then again, I do not have any problems Telangana getting separated. Gurava

Mr Anand Garlapati,
You have gotta be kidding me. How can you say it is a private email when you sent it using mass marketing.
I am copying the footer of the email here :
This email was sent by Atlanta Telangana NRIs, P.O. Box #1393, Suwanee, GA 30024, using Express Email Marketing. You were added to this list as myemail@yahoo.com on 12/19/2009.
Express Email Marketing supports permission-based email marketing. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time.

Who gave you the right to steal email addresses and send it to the community using mass marketing and then deciding it is private. Democratic process means discussions from both sides, not just your side. It has become a fashion to throw mud at anyone who does not agree with you. What is the appropriate forum for the discussion. Is it a restaurant where you eat good food and talk about people not having anything back home. I saw a youtube video about your program when the mike was snatched away from somebody who was asking about development activities if you get a state. What kind of behaviour are you encouraging.
We need to appreciate Rachabanda for bringing out the real faces of people into the community.

Anand Garlapati Garu & Vivek Reddy Garu,

I am Ravi Singareddy and from Nizamabad. Next time when you have conference with our Telangana Politicians and can you please ask following questions and let us know the answers

1) Nizamabad to Jagityal (Jagityal to Peddapalli is completed) railway line started 18 years back, still why it is not completed ? It still requires 350 cr for completing this project. Why MP's from Nizamabad and Karimnagar are not raising voice in Lok Sabha for fund allocation for completing this project ?

2) Why there is no voice in Lok Sabha for railway line between Armoor to Adilabad ?

3) Why there is no voice in Loksabha for railway line between Bodhan to Udgir (via Degloor) ?

4) Why there is voice in Loksabha for railway line between Bodhan to Bidar (via Banswada and Narayankhed) ?

Railway Minister Mamatha Benergy, ordered railway survey between Nandhed to Bidar, and she told there is no people request from Nizamabad to have railway survey between Bodhan to Bidar.

If we have these kind of people representing my constituency in Lok Sabha, How one can feel about it ?

If these railway lines built, my hometown, Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar will see huge exponential economical growth.

What we need is development of Telangana and not separate Telangana.
