I am Sagatu Tama Member (Self Paid) for last few Years.. Closely observing the developments in TAMA and here is my take on the candidates..I don’t belong to any group and this is my impartial observation. My request to all voters is to vote by candidate's merit, their past accomplishments, leadership skills and passion to serve community. Please do not go by Panel, Caste, friendship , King maker orders etc.. Hope you make the right choice..

President
Madhu Tata: Successful business man and well known name in the community. His political ambitions (With TANA , PRP and TDP) makes you wonder if he is using TAMA to fulfil his dreams
TP : Decent stint as VP of TAMA EC 2009. Strong willed woman with lots of determination. Her track record on how she got into EC 2009 casts doubts on her integrity
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Madhu Tata (Dondu Donde..With no other better option MT is the choice)
Vice President
Anand Akkineni: Served as Secretary.. Midst of all sorts of cotroversies. Not much accomplishments in his previous TAMA Years.
Ravi Allala : Not much track record.. New to Georgia .. Seem to be decent guy.. Atleast we can understand when he speaks..
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Ravi Allala ... (Not because of his strength but oppostion weakness)
Secretary
Girish Meka: Served as Treasurer..Energetic, committed and hard working.. Midst of all sorts of controversies.. Known for his agreesive behaviour in public
Venkat Veraneni: Known for involvement in organizing Bathukamma.. Decent Guy.. Non controversial..
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Venkat Veraneni .. (Sorry GM ... but you need to mellow down little bit..)
Treasurer
Sai Gorrepati : Served as Educational Coordinator.. Very hardworking.. Non controversial..Lacks leadership...
Aluval Seelam: Business man... Probably knows the cents and dollars better than anybody
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Aluval Seelam .. (SG ..keep up the good work. we just feel you may not be the right fit for the job)
Cultural Coordinator
Mahesh Pawar: Popular, Active and independent thinker..Proven organizational skills.. Some section of people question his origin
Sridevi Dadithota: Past president.. TAMA Experience .. Not many accomplishments in her previous term.. perceived as a dummy in the hands of King makers
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Mahesh Pawar.. (SD ..You had your turn with highest position and didnt make any impression)
Media Coordinator
Satya Karnati : Served as Cultural coordinator.. Known for his performing skills.. Did not make much impact in his last term..
Suresh Peddi : Known more as film distributor.. Strong oratory skills ..
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Suresh Peddi .. (SK.... It's very close call)
Educational Coordinator
Sree Vattikuti : No track record.. some section of people are questioning her origin
Sunil Katepalli : Not track record..
Sagatu Tama Memeber Choice : Sree Vattikuti .. (Sorry Sunil ...It's Coin Toss)
Literary Coordinator
Madhav Durbha : Appears to have lot of passion for literature.. probably one of the very few candidates who sent an email with his core strenghts and accomplishments
Sandhya Yellapragada : Not much information
Sagatu Tama Memeber Choice : Madhav Durbha (Seems to have lots of passion which we need for this job)
Technology Coordinator
Umesh Muthyala : Seeking 2nd term as technology coordinator.. softspoken.. dragged to controversy for not sending email on one of the amendments..Not sure if it’s his fault
Prasad Yadana : Not much Information.. My sources say he is QA analyst and core technical skills required for the job are questionable
Sagatu Tama Member Choice : Umesh Muthyala (UM .. you have done good job with the website and hopefully you will make it much better.)

Thanks for your input. It was easy few years ago to elect somebody. We had to beg people to serve in the past. Now there are so many candidates for a relatively small organization and so much animosity among them. It makes you wonder how many of them are here for service, how many want to just have a designation to satisfy their ego and how many have other vested interests. What happened to the start low, work hard climb up the ladder and continue providing service whether you have your name in the committee or not. Will those days ever come back? My dream team will be somebody who talks less and does more. No speech should last more than 3 minutes. I want to see more done for the high schools that have been hosting us. I also want to see some integration with other cultures. For example invite the Japanese community to one event and have them perform for us one dance or a play. Different countries can be invited on different occasions. Similar way we can send a team to other cultures celebrations and show them our culture. I want to see students that have moved from India in our functions.Learn something from Vibha. I would give Vibha 1000 times more than I would ever give anything through TAMA the way it is being run now.
It's great to see more people competing to do service to Telugu community. Better, let them have their wish granted by allowing multiple presidents, vice presidents, treasurers etc.. More people, better service . isn't it....? After all it's a voluntary organization.
What the F**k is this third front? Someone from "Team TAMA 2010" is playing double game. Is it Mr. Pawar? huh...
No doubt it is Pawar, he is the only one got decent comments(self written) all over the blog.
He is no innocent, he played his own game in TAMA 2008 elections but got unnoticed mainly bcos Tangirala's panel's victory.
